  1. So f***in sick that you had to repeat it twice.
  2. Actually it has been mentioned. :headshake That really sucks that he wouldn't waive his no trade to come here, really pisses me off. :fyou Delgado.
  3. Kenny and the sox threw in the towel when they were in first place? Now I've heard everything.
  4. I'm with you on crede. I mentioned beltre because the guy is an absolute stud but it's not worth going after him for that kind of money when crede can do an adequate job and I definitely wouldn't want to sign Glaus for big money. Kenny's main priorities in the offseason should be imo, a true leadoff guy to play either short or 2nd and maybe get two guys that could hit at the top of the order to play the middle infield, a descent catcher, and relief pitching. The middle of the order will be fine again next year and the starting pitching has a chance to be damn good, if not addressed the bullpen and tops and bottoms of the order would also be a problem.
  5. Rowand might not be a leadoff guy but how he's playing right now he definitely looks to be a great two hitter. He can get on base, he can run, he can steal, and he can hit a fastball which hitting in front of the teams 3 hitter(whoever that may be) is a huge plus.
  6. I'm not sold on Rowand being this good because I just don't think he is. However he's a great guy to have on the team, he is the grinder type kenny talks about, also aaron is probably our best base stealer at the time because he actually knows what the hell he is doing out there unlike willie. There will be much bigger holes to fill then centerfield.
  7. I'd rather have Beltre then Glaus but Beltre will probably command more money. I don't know where you put Lee but he'll be here. Borch should be interesting now, it seemed like he was already going to be penciled in to right but now with Carl most likely back what happens to borch, another year in aaa? I doubt it. I've been pushing for Pavano the whole time but if we can get Contreras to fix that flaw and pitch up to his stuff I'd actually say our starting pitching would be the strongest area of this team(boy, wouldn't that be nice) so I wouldn't invest money into that, just let Felix be the 5th starter. As far as the bullpen goes, shingo's option will be picked up, damaso is back, adkins is backs, I believe politte has an option(not sure though), and what happens to neal, does he get stuck back in the pen? As far as ss goes I'd like to get a guy with a good glove who could leadoff but that won't be easy to find, we'll see should be an interesting offseason.
  8. I think it's the curse of Damon Andrews, we can't win since he left.
  9. That was quick. Seriously though, I've tried the same thing but I just can't do it.
  10. I'm in, I'm out when it's october 3rd and we're sitting at home, otherwise I'm not going anywhere.
  11. The flubs gave up Justin Jones who is a pretty damn good prospect, Brendan Harris who also is a decent prospect, Francis Beltran who was supposed to be their closer of the future and Alex Gonzalez for an overrated hitter who hasn't hit outside of Fenway, so you were saying........
  12. The start he just had against the orioles was on 3 days rest, so you can kind of throw that start out. He's get exceptional stuff and if he stops tipping his pitches he'll be damn good.
  13. By espn 100 I mean espn 1000.
  14. Does anyone else know how long Jose is signed for?
  15. ESPN RADIO IS SAYING IT HAPPENED. Kenny Williams I love you.
  16. Cerb, I understand that, I'm just confused that if contreras didnt waive his no trade that he can still be coming, like i said me=lost and confused.
  17. Right, but if contreras wouldn't waive his no trade, well im just lost.
  18. I'm kind of confused how it can't be dead, deadline passed, is it still possible the deal went through, or we talking waiver deal?
