  1. Meh, I wouldn't go that far. I think everyone expected Johan to dominate the guy is a stud and he's on one hell of a hot streak. Sure these first two games have definitely been ugly but I wouldn't say that it's corpseball, more of good pitching.
  2. Yes, we got Sully August 21st of last year. Unfortunately I agree with you about the bandwagoners.
  3. That is hilarious. But thinking of Ricky retiring still makes me .
  4. Well I think most of us agree that Arow should bat 2nd as of right now so hopefully ozzie will find this out. As for the bottom of the order yeah it would still be a little weak but not as weak.
  5. Yeah that one I'm going to change, I think it's more of an equal thing right now. Shingo has been awesome but so has nathan he does have more saves but shingo hasn't had the opp's yet(obviously).
  6. I'm not a huge fan of comparing players by position to figure out what team is better, also Mullholland is in their rotation right now and I think Seth is in aaa but anyways if I had to do this mine would be like this: Koskie > Crede Guzman Rivas = Harris/Uribe Morneau Jones > Borchard/Perez/Gload Hunter Stewart Radke Santana > Garcia Silva > Loaiza Lohse Mullholland > Schoeneweis Nathan = Takatsu Romero Rincon > Politte Roa > Jackson Fultz > Cotts
  7. Yeah your right, I just meant the top two guys to get on for Carlos, Carl, Pauly, Jose but yes he is at the top of the order and a .300 hitter. You win, I lose.
  8. Ditto, 2 .300 hitters at the top of the lineup would make this lineup damn solid.
  9. Agreed 100 percent and we beat their two aces up in minny. What's weird is we've won both series in minny and they've won both series at the cell. First things first is we definitely need arow at the top of the order. Lee has become a great hitter, I don't care what his stats say he's 10 times the hitter he was last year, and there isn't a guy I'd rather have up in a clutch situation then carl, to me those 3 aren't the problem and I think most people would agree. Something that has been bugging me about pauly. While Pauly is obviously having a great year, he has to start shortening up his swing when the situation calls for it. Almost all of his hits lately have been solo homers and when someone is one base he's always grounding into dp's. With runners in scoring position he has to shorten up and just try to drive in the runners on base.
  10. There really is no reason. Ozzie said in the postgame today that Jose is batting 2nd because he wants him to see more fastballs and I knew that was the reason ozzie was going to give but it's really a dumb reason. Everyone is going to see more fastballs and because of that they will hit better. Rowand is also a good fastball hitter, yet a much better top of the order guy then jose. Jose is great to have on the team but he's a power hitter and should be down in the order with his low obp, while aaron with his good obp and good speed should be batting at the top of the order. Not only that about aaron but he's probably the best bunter we have and the best base stealer.
  11. I love this movie. I saw it twice in the same night at the theatres when if first came out. I have to go buy it on dvd, great movie.
  12. We need atleast one of them, whether it's Maggs or Frank I don't know but we definitely need atleast one.
  13. Nobody is scoring on Johan, right now he's virtually unbeatable and guess what, we've beat him twice. I guess Sabathia and Lee aren't good pitchers either so yeah your right this team f***in sucks, sell, sell, sell, Kenny we need prospects this season is over.
  14. I think I'm going to start a thread about how the sox should be sellers since the deadline is coming up. The season is over, the sky is falling, we have no chance at this division so just go away then, if the seasons over, why bother?
  15. Yup your right this deficit is impossible to come back from. We're one game back in the loss column, we win tomorrow and we're tied in the loss column. Jeez, I'm mad how the team has played these two games also but some of you people are ridiculous, step back from the f***in ledge this team is going to be fine. Please don't come back if the sox win this division, these threads get f***in annoying after every loss. :headshake
  16. Catalanotto would help this team a ton. We need another contact guy at the top of the order and someone needs to tell ozzie to move jose down in the order, anyways if kenny could somehow get Frank the lineup would looks like this: rowand cat lee carl pauly jose crede willie/uribe catching trio That lineup is real balanced plus you then have two guys at the top of the order who can get on for the boppers. The middle of the order isn't the problem right now it's the top and bottom of the lineup.
  17. Actually it was almost the exact opposite. He was trying to move the ball to the right side and was late on the pitch.
  18. I highly doubt it. Johan has been the hottest pitcher in baseball and has basically been the hottest pitcher in 5 years, the guy has been on fire but anything is possible.
  19. I've actually been to 3 sellouts already this year. Two of the games vs. the Flubs and then last nights game. Can't wait for this game though, payback is a b**** twinkies. Heather, have you been there for shingo time yet? If you haven't there really isn't anything like it, it's amazing.
