When was I ripping on Gammons? I never once said anything bad about him, I was just stating facts but I never once ripped on the guy.

Hey I'm just telling you what he said. Because when he said the sox were going to be this years marlins he said because he thought they would sign colon. Then when he was making his predictions he said they'd finish 3rd in the central. I'm just telling you what he said, don't shoot the messanger. But like I already said I don't care what he thinks.

He said that, cause he believe they were going to resign Bartolo and he did predict the sox to finish 3rd. That being said I could absolutely care less what Gammons or all the other bbtn members think about the sox or anyone in the media for that matter.

The dodgers do have some absolute studs though in Jackson and Miller. Hanrahan is also a descent prospect. Franklin Gutierrez was in the Milton Bradley deal, correct?

If he comes into a game with a two run lead and lets up one does it matter?? Not to me it doesn't, I think era is pretty overrated for a closer, he has to close games out period. If he lets up a run or two when he has a two run or three run lead it doesn't matter as long as the sox win the game. You guys can rip billy all you want but he's doing his job.

Exactly what you said, I was definitely losing faith in Borchard but still rooting for him. I'm a huge joe bo fan and I hope I'm dead, dead wrong on him, I want him to be the stud we all know he can be.

Well I'm not going to get back into the bullpen argument we agreed to disagree so I'll leave it at that. The biggest key for me is for the sox to maintain a consistant offense and I think the sox will be right up there with the elite teams in the al.

I'm with anthony and have been on this subject for a while. Koch has done his job this year. He's 7 for 8, who cares about his era, his era went up big time in those two games against baltimore where he let up one and two runs in back to back games but he still closed out the game and did his job. You guys can say what you want about koch but he's done his job this year, period.

I'm also kind of wondering about Jeremy's defense. I know he's supposed to be solid in the outfield but not a true centerfielder. Have any of you seen him play centerfield and if so do you think he'd be able to hold down playing center?

That would be so refreshing to watch on this baseball team. Sometime this year, maybe with in a month or so I think Joe Bo or Reed will get a call up, I think that will mostly depend on if Borchard can keep up his hot streak.

I totally disagree about his trade value. Like you said he has enormous potential and is only 25 so teams will most certainly still be interested. I'd like to keep Joe around but if the sox were able to swing a deal to bring in a stud pitcher, I would definitely not be opposed to it.

I would certainly do that deal. I'll keep on saying this offense won't be consistant until either pk or carlos is traded. I'm a huge fan of Gload and would love to see him get some consistant playing time. Gload can hit for power but doesn't over swing alot and goes into left, leftcenter a lot.

While I'm not ready to give up Borchard, he can definitely be trade bait and I would definitely be in favor of that trade you proposed. Here's the main problem with that proposal though would Reinsdorf be willing to add 6 million dollars of payroll?? I think seattle would have to pick up most of his salary for a deal like that to get done.
