I think it should definetly be Alomar and Burke give Olivo some time in aaa and let him develop some more, i think eventually he can be a great catcher, and for josh paul just put him through waivers, with the addition of Burke i think we can afford to let him go, and let willie take the last roster spot.

For all of those people who put lineups in for the sox, do you guys really see Tejada batting 2nd??? I think he'd definetly bat 5th and just bump everyone down.
-
Actually, Damaso pitched this past Saturday in the Cub game.
He also pitched against the D'backs on the 5th.

I don't think Maggs already has the homerun title on this team. The great thing about maggs is he just isn't a homerun hitter he does everything, there are a lot of people that could hit more homers then maggs, if thomas comes back strong he can easily do it, Konerko, Clee, they can also have more homers then maggs.
25+ is pretty much impossible, that 50 homers off of all multi homer games.

Can you post the article on here, cause for some reason my password isn't working to get into the site, and when I try making a new one its not letting me, so can someone please post the article, thanx!!!!!

Prior may be the best pitcher in NL in 3 years!
The key words in that statement are MAY BE, we already know that Buehrle is one of the best pitchers in the AL, and yes Prior has great potential, but does any one here, think we've seen the best out of Buehrle? Cause I definetly don't.
-
Yeah, Valenzuela was great in 2001, that year it seemed like every day that Mario went deep.
-
How could anyone here take Prior over Buehrle, yes Prior has enormous potential, but Buehrle won 19 games last year, and can easily be a 20 game winner this year, what if Prior doesn't become a good pitcher like he could be, I can't believe anyone on this board would take Prior over Buehrle

i dont give two s***s who we face as long as we get there..............
That makes two of us

i looove frank thomas
you do??
uh huh!! !
I love Hawk and DJ sayings.

Alright this is what I got on this guy, I just ran a search on him, and I got some box scores with him playing on Birmingham in 2001, so maybe he just didn't play last year, I'm just as confused as everyone else, but thats the best I can do.

I'll tell you one thing it won't be Valentin, but I would definetly lean toward Maggs.
-
Where's Jiminez? I think he needs to be a huge impact, since he is going to be leading off, Frank is a huge part, but we already have a lot of power, the sox need Jiminez to step up big.
-
I think Rauch is going to have a great year this year, but I do think it would benefit him to start the year in AAA, and get the ball every 5th day, the Sox should start him in AAA and bring him up when the 5th starter gets the ball regularly, if Rauch gets his chance this year, I think he's going to win ROY.
-
I voted for Jiminez because he scares me the most, because more depends on him then anyone else, because he is going to be the leadoff man.
-
The Sox are definetly going to hit Valentin 2, but I agree with you guys I would love to see Rowand be the 2 hitter, and I think he would be the sox best choice batting 2nd, but I just don't think it's going to happen unfortunatly
-
He must know he can't make the yankees 7 man rotation.
-
I would never ever trade Magglio, I believe he is the 2nd best outfielder in the league behind bonds, and as far as lee and dunn, this year is going to be a break out year for lee, there is definetly NO WAY I WOULD EVER DO THIS DEAL
-
I highly doubt Porzio has any chance, even if some how wunsch does get traded, I think the we are more likely to see Munoz get a chance in the pen over Porzio, and if the sox do sign Rogers, Rauch will be starting the year in AAA, not in the pen.
-
I dont think KW will trade Rauch, he was in the Colon rumors as late as the same wednsday we traded for Colon, I think this is just a rumor, but if this deal happened, I wouldn't expect to see Rauch go, I would think it would be someone else. ATLEAST I HOPE!!!!!!
-
Rogers would be a great pick up for the sox, not only is he a really good pitcher, he provides depth to the rotation, with Rogers at the 5, and rauch in aaa, if anyone got injured I would feel real confident about having Rauch step in and due a good job in the majors.
-
Altough I would obviously love to have Tejada on the southside, lets be realistic it's not going to happen, obviously Tejada is a huge upgrade over Valentin, but Tejada and Colon in the same offseason, that would be amazing, but it's definetly not going to happen.
-
Manuel did say as of now Sandy would be the catcher, but I think that he might have said that because Sandy was sitting right next to him, I'm pretty sure that Olivo will be the opening day catcher.
-
I don't know how anyone here can take Sosa over Maggs, yes we all know sosa will hit more homeruns, because maggs doesnt take steroids, but Maggs always has a better average, less strikeouts, better defense, better baserunning, and this year he had more rbi's which i think is from now on going to be a trend. DEFINETLY MAGGS OVER SOSA!!!!!!

How about Jarrod Washburn and Joel Pineiro for some pitchers in the al.
