Larussa isn’t a Chicago legend though.
-
Think this would be most casuals reaction if they heard it was TLR, minus the name of course:
-
Having a 100 year old dude try to connect with 25 year old's seems like a great asset for the club house.
-
Because he's 103 years old and that's a number that even casual fans can see.
-
Ya, I don't think that would be the case at all.
-
Right. I'm one of Kopech's biggest fans but legit have 0 idea what his actual value would be on the market and I'm guessing it's lower than some of us would like to think. That's one of the reasons I think trading him would be a pretty bad idea right now. Obviously if his value is that high where he could be used to acquire Degrom then that's a whole different story.
-
Maybe he could play rf and be our 3rd starter too!!!
-
Here in Saint Louis too it appears. Like bmags said, they can be wrong and hopefully they area, maybe everyone is just playing games but ya this isn't looking good.
-
Can't believe TLR is going to be coaching the Bears.

My number 1 candidate:

The Cleveland series was a much bigger fail on RR's part than game 3 was imo. Game 3 certainly wasn't great but that was more of a front office fail than anything else imo.
-
Good thread. Coop did so many good things for this organization and I'm thankful for every bit of it. It was definitely time to move on but that doesn't mean Coop didn't have a great career overall here.

Sox Press Conference - 11am 10/12 - RR out as Sox manager

Wow, I'm pretty shocked honestly. Good for them! -
If there's one thing in life that's true, it's the fanbase that's never seen their team make back to back playoff appearances in 120 years is insanely spoiled.
-
Gotta wait until year 16 of the rebuild to go all in.

Are Dunning and/or Cease Slotted into the 2021 Starting Rotation?
Rowand44 replied to ron883's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I don't think either should be locked into a spot but at least one of them will be in the rotation. Sign a starter and let Kopech, Cease and Dunning fight it out for the last 2 spots. -
Right but that means Dane shouldn't have started to begin with. That said in Ricky's defense(I know) and as you said, everything was fucked after the Crochet injury anyways.
-
You have to go all in for Bauer. That said, ya, Q seems like the right answer.
-
Start Foster and then go with the other 5 pen guys that have been lights out this year(including Crochet here). Yes, we’re going to need Dunning if we advance but in a do or die game go with your best guys and just try to survive.
-
Nah, you're not going to mess with Robert for Adam Engel. Despite the fact that Robert can't time a jump he's still a very good defensive centerfielder and no need to mess with him, especially when his head is wrapped up in hitting woes right now.
-
Cordero shouldn't have been in to begin with either. People are over looking that because the Rodon decision was such a bonkers terrible one.
-
They're scuffling big time but Cleveland is also arguably the best pitching staff in the American League so there's that. Look, we need the offense to be better come next week but this team was in position to win at least 2 of these games in this last series and Ricky screwed the pooch here, there's just no debate there.
-
Ya, this is what is so infuriating about it. We have 4 guys active right now(5 when Evan comes back and Crochet being the X factor here) that have been absolute studs this year and we’re blowing late leads right now because of mismanagement. The weapons are there.
