What are we even doing here -
If the White Sox trade for Shohei Ohtani they have a chance

The Angels. -
Out of all the terrible nicknames this board has come up with in it's time this is definitely one of the worst.

2022 White Sox: Football is almost here

This is one of the more bizarre takes I've ever seen.

What in the world does any of this have to do with how garbage of a manager Tony is in 2022?
-
Sir why are you in this thread? We have fired you.

Sale was also a big part of a Boston team that won a World Series. If Kopech stays around there’s no reason he won’t be one of the best pitchers in baseball for a while just as Chris was. Trade made sense for both teams at the time and might turn out to be a win for both teams.

Old Sock Drawer, ex Sox player discussion
Rowand44 replied to elrockinMT's topic in The Diamond Club
Seemed fair but we clearly shouldn't give this organization the benefit of the doubt. I was always on the fence about bringing him back just cause I didn't know his health situation but if he was always healthy(and like you said the tired arm was always going to happen last year) then the QO was an absolute no brainer...but here we are. -
4/23 GT: Sox @ MIN (3:05 CST)
Rowand44 replied to Chicago White Sox's topic in 2022 Season in Review
Batted 3rd Wednesday and Thursday. And 2nd yesterday. It’s been a thing. -
Wouldn’t it be nice if getting into the playoffs and deciding seeds was based on series wins instead of games won? We’re still 6-6, series wins doesn’t mean anything.

The problem with the top 6 in the lineup
Rowand44 replied to CentralChamps21's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Agreed on all points. Yaz will be fine and getting Yoan’s obp back in the lineup will certainly help but ya, it’s incredible that a weakness that everyone knew about(and like you said, Hahn called out himself) wasn’t addressed in the off-season. -
I have nothing of substance to add, I just truly hate the fact that Tony La Russa is in my life.
-
Remember when there were people saying the results the Cubs had after their rebuild wouldn’t be good enough for the Sox? Good times.
-
Should have spent Leury’s money on bringing back Herm.
-
Hammy? Let me guess, it's a hammy
-
Can we go rescue Michael Conforto from whatever dimension he was transported to?
-
Ball was already out of his glove when the contact happened. I guess I don't know how the rule works but Tim was already fuckin that play up before the interference.
-
This is an absolutely clown show lolololol
-
AV is doing just fine against rhp so far this season in the sporadic ab's he's seen. And Plesac is not good.
-
LOLOLOL Ok then
-
Tying run at the plate in the 7th with Vaughn available? Ya, why wouldn't you keep Haseley in?
-
Well at least Jake has absolutely murdered the ball today.
-
Agreed. He didn't have good stuff today and didn't get destroyed which shows some progress for him. Obviously if he looks like this consistently it's a problem but for a day where he clearly didn't have it, it's nice he was able to keep us around at least.
-
I mean that's fine and I agree overall but that ball hit him in the glove, it's not like he was 20 feet away from it. Luis is kind of in no man's land there and with 0 outs he decided to tag up which isn't the wrong decision there. Leury was the one that forced everything and ran the team into an out.
