  1. Definitely seems to be a wide variety of opinions on Lopez.
  2. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 13, 2017 -> 02:02 PM) My irrational love of Hansen tells me he still has the highest ceiling of all our arms, even though I know it's really Rodon and Giolito. Kopech throws like 146 MPH, I think you can make a solid argument that he's got the highest ceiling of them all. Great problem to have obviously.
  3. I too am going to start making all my voting decisions based on XFL documentaries.
  4. Do people actually still love Bray Wyatt? His character has been dead to me forever now. Naomi is also super average to me so her having the title is semi annoying but whatever. Kind of sucks though cause I doubt that title is going to be defended at Mania. And I'm still pretty sure Styles is getting Shane which is also super annoying. Assuming Rollins is good to go, they have a loaded and healthy roster for Mania and there's almost nothing that interests me so boo.
  5. Okafor is bad but I'm cool taking a chance on him cause honestly we're going to suck for a while anyways so why the f*** not. Also, I love Westbrook so much.
  6. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 11, 2017 -> 06:42 AM) Her RW season is the only one I've watched in the last decade. She's super sexy. She looks a lot like Peyton Royce from a distance.
  7. So what was Pompei's reason for TO not getting in? Any sportswriter who didn't vote for him should be taken to task on that.
  8. If the Sox traded Q straight up for Bregman I'd be pretty pissy about it. I'd do it in a heartbeat if I'm the Astros but I'm not sure that the actual Astros would do it. But I don't know that either.
  9. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Feb 10, 2017 -> 10:13 AM) If T.O. can't get into the Pro Football HOF because of sanctimonious asshole writers, then they should shut the HOF down. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Feb 10, 2017 -> 10:28 AM) Pompei being a HOF sportswriter doesn't exclude him from criticism though. I didn't hear the interview but I agree with all of this. Being a HOF sportwriter shouldn't shield you from criticism especially if it's something as blatantly stupid as not having TO in the hall.
  10. Tyrod is a one year stop gap(and possibly more) while still having a decent amount of upside. You obviously still a draft a quarterback this year as well but that would give you some options. I'd definitely rather go down that road than to trade a boatload for someone who is just as much of a mystery as a rookie like Jimmy G is.
  11. I'm not a Bears fan but I like the Tyrod Taylor idea for them. Makes a lot of sense to me.
  12. Is the rumor confirmed that there is nothing to see here?
  13. Ya, I think everyone likes Jabari and that Bucks team just got Middleton back too. Everything sucks about this.
  14. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Feb 9, 2017 -> 10:19 AM) Against Seattle? I was there with my dad, brother and uncle. Buehrle gave up 2 hits I think (both to Ichiro). Was also at the Home Opener in 05 which I believe was just under 2 hours. Edit: It was really fun when Buehrle and Sale faced each other in 15 I think it was. I was at that one as well. I think it was 3 hits actually to Ichiro. He finally got him out in the 9th iirc.
  15. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Feb 9, 2017 -> 11:03 AM) "He would have never won any Super Bowls without Brady" You could say that with just about every coach. Wouldn't have won without their hall of fame QB. 51 Super Bowl winners. 41 have been won with hall of fame quarterbacks or will be hall of fame quarterbacks. 42 if you consider Joe Flacco a hall of famer. The others had historically good defenses. Bears, Bucs, Giants, Raiders, Redskins. Dude...
  16. Brady's numbers were also super pedestrian pre Randy Moss year, he wasn't carrying the team to anything back then. Dude is obviously a great qb and one of the best ever but I'll stick with team Beli.
  17. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Feb 9, 2017 -> 09:55 AM) I tend to think that Belichick makes Brady look better more than the other way around. The Patriots went 11-5 without Brady in 2008 and went 4-0 in the games he didn't play in this year. There's no one better at turning castoffs and nobodies into good players. Would Brady have been the GOAT with another coach? I don't think so. 3-1 with out Brady this year. But yes, I'm on your side of this argument.
  18. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Feb 8, 2017 -> 05:22 PM) We are way too close to each other. I work in Chesterfield, I live downtown though.
  19. Sylvia was a nut job on her Real World season too. Actually outside of Nicole that whole season was filled with crazy people really.
  20. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Feb 8, 2017 -> 02:46 PM) Yeah...he figured that the best QB of all time can make a good coach look like a genius. I'm fairly certain if you gave Aaron Rodgers to Lovie, he'd look like a genius too, same with a lot of other coaches. Not knocking Bill, but I tend to believe he gets more credit then he deserves. Man, I thought there was no way for me to disagree with you more than I do in the NBA thread. I was wrong.
  21. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Feb 8, 2017 -> 01:52 PM) It's snowing now. Was snowing pretty good for a little bit in Chesterfield. It stopped now though.
