  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 31, 2017 -> 04:13 PM) The other side of it is that I honestly believe that Barkley doesn't even believe 90% of what comes out of his mouth. I think he gets that his role on that show is to say something outrageous to stir things up. Apparently he touched a nerve with LeBron. Ya, this I can agree with.
  2. Barkley has gone after LeBron plenty of times. Whether it's his integrity, or the way he's buddy buddy with other players or telling Draymond that he had every right to kick LeBron in the balls last year. Seems like LBJ just had enough and went off. Good for him because like I said, everything that LBJ said is right.
  3. People can hate LeBron if they want but he's 100 percent right here.
  4. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jan 31, 2017 -> 11:12 AM) In the other sports, I agree with you. In the NBA, it's much different. The White Sox and Bears in a much better position to win a championship than the Bulls are because of the nature of their sports. If i'm holding them to my "make the best decisions to eventually win a championship" viewpoint, then I can't settle for being a consistent playoff team. In the NFL and MLB there are many factors and teams can make shrewd decisions and compete with rest of the league almost instantly. In the NBA, there are like 3-4 title contenders. The worst place to be is where the Bulls are. Everyone made fun of the 76ers but any smart Bulls fan would trade places with them in a second right now. I'm with you on this one and this is probably the biggest disconnect overall between Jason and me in this thread. I have a hard time enjoying my team if I know they have 0 shot to win the championship. That includes the playoffs in the NBA. In other sports you can luck your way into a championship and in the NBA you can't, it changes how I enjoy things. Obviously nobody is right or wrong here but that's personally how my entertainment value is shaped.
  5. I actually deleted my post because I said I wouldn't argue this anymore this season ha. Everyone's entitled to their opinion on this obviously and not sure why I feel the need to keep arguing about it.
  6. Meltzer thinks Brock-Greenberg is gonna be for the strap too!
  7. QUOTE (TRU @ Jan 30, 2017 -> 08:32 AM) The best part about the Rumble is the surprise entrants, even if they don't realistically have a chance at winning. There was none of that this year. I don't understand how Seth Rollins is left off the card completely. Cena and Orton at Mania? Its been done, not thrilled about that. Honestly, I was pulling for Jericho when it got down to the final four. The Royal Rumble match is what makes the PPV, and it just wasn't that good. Therefor, the PPV was a let down even if the other matches were pretty damn good. Part of the reason I was excited about this rumble is because there was actually a chance one of the surprise guys could win whether it be Finn or Joe. Not likely but it added to the fun of it for me. Dillinger is fine(to be honest I don't get why he is so over but he is) and was a fun moment but him being the "major" surprise is pretty bad. Anywho, after having the night to sleep on it I'm still very much annoyed by all of this. Maybe they'll surprise me and go Finn-AJ at mania or maybe they do Joe-Cena to at least give me something to be excited about but as of now, I'm really not interested in any of this.
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 29, 2017 -> 09:49 PM) I liked the Reigns inclusion. It's clearly the start of making him partially a bad guy to feud with Taker The one thing I will say is I highly doubt this. He'll be full Cena in this feud.
  9. I'll say that I disagree with pretty much everything that was just said but I'm not going to argue with anyone. It's pro wrestling and if you like something then you like it. Personally, I hated literally every single thing about the rumble match itself. Anywho, Go Bayley
  10. Let me add that the card up to the actual rumble match was great. The rumble match was absolute garbage to me and mania is setting up to be a dud with a healthy and awesome roster.
  11. For the people that said there were a lot of surprising things...what were you surprised about? I'm not asking that to be an asshole, I'm actually interested.
  12. Wasn't her most crisp match(you know it's her first big ppv match) but was still super fun. Right call with Charlotte winning too.
  13. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jan 29, 2017 -> 01:03 PM) https://twitter.com/FutureSox/status/825109...src=twsrc%5Etfw Thanks!
  14. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jan 29, 2017 -> 12:37 PM) MLBpipeline released their list of best tools. Some White Sox made the list: Fastest Baserunner Runner-up: Moncada Best Fastball Winner: Kopech Best Curveball Winner: Giolito Best Slider Runner-up: Kopech That's pretty awesome.
  15. QUOTE (hi8is @ Jan 29, 2017 -> 11:45 AM) Yep. Stupid thing to say, even in jest... just showed his immaturity. You of all people are going to be the fun police?
  16. I love that Bayley is my favorite wrestler and I almost always root for her to lose ha. Anyways lets play another game. There's 8 "mystery" spots in the rumble, lets try to guess all 8. My random guesses are: 1. Samoan Joseph 2. Angle 3. Kane 4. Dillinger 5. Crews 6. Ellsworth 7. TJ Perkins 8. Mysterio
  17. There was a picture floating around of all the young guys lined up on stage together at some point and I can't find it now. Anyone have it?
  18. We heard similar things about Beck, I'll back Caulfield up on this one. The difference like Q said is people thought Hansen had a shot to be the 1 overall where as Beck was going to be more of a top 10 guy. Hansen also seems to have much better stuff so while I see where Caulfield is coming from they are very different players.
  19. Whether it's been Durant or maybe he just hasn't been completely healthy but I've missed the Steph show this year. Most entertaining thing in sports to me.
  20. Ya it kinda seems to me that Giolito has somehow become underrated as a prospect and that's with him being in the top 25-30 on every list.
  21. Definitely confused on that ME booking but we'll see where it goes. Fun show none the less. Drunk ass Matt Riddle in the background when they showed Tyler Bate made me laugh too. Also, as much as I haven't cared about any of the rumored mania matches, tonight really made me want to see Seth-Hunter. So well done.
  22. Callis said he sees Fulmer and Lopez as starters, too early to write them off as relievers.
