  1. I missed most of raw last night cause I had a basketball game but I caught that main event angle...and I hated it. Thing is, I get that most people are loving this so I understand why they're doing it but it's not for me. 3 guys who are pretty awful performers at this point in a stare down because of nostalgia just isn't for me.
  2. I'm still of the mindset that I'll worry about roster/organization composition when we're ready to compete. Until then, acquire the best talent possible whether it's a hitter, pitcher or mascot, just grab the best talent.
  3. Last year was pretty simple to at least guess either 1 or 30 would win, this year not so much. I'm sure I'll be annoyed with whoever wins this thing but at least it's not predictable this year. That said it's probably going to be an old guy or Braun so I expect the winner to come in later: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Crimson 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Brian 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. 18. Rowand44 19. 20. 4. I like GB's decision to not onside kick after their touchdown. They're only down 24 and they've consistently stopped Atlanta's offense today.
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 22, 2017 -> 12:55 PM) So it must be asked now...Are the Warriors of 2017 the GOAT? They already have (and we know this coming in) the most devastating offense of all-time. I mean just check the numbers. They're all there. But I don't think anybody expected them to be this elite defensively. I don't know what's happened to KD. He's a legit DPOY candidate. Klay/Draymond are obviously elite on that end. They've got above average length and athleticism everywhere (well, except for zaza). I said it before the season started and i'll say it again. If LeBron takes down these warriors in June he's the new GOAT. You really want everyone and everything to be the GOAT don't you?
  6. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 21, 2017 -> 10:55 PM) Been hearing a lot about TRX lately...thoughts? I think you'd be a fan. I like it cause every exercise you do on it you have to work your core, it's good stuff.
  7. Education is obviously never a bad thing but to be honest I'm not sure how much it would actually help. When you're young and drunk you're just not thinking about this stuff.
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 20, 2017 -> 08:08 PM) Who is this Zipser character? Did he play Division 1? Germany University.
  9. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 20, 2017 -> 02:38 PM) Yeah it's a good base just think I'd like more players back. I have said it before, I have much less of a stomach for a bulls rebuild now with the white sox and bears where they are. And basketball rebuilds can be so slow. But mainly, I am infuriated by the idea that Gar Forman would be in charge of this trade. With the white sox, I was in support of getting rid of KW/Hahn but also felt that if they started a rebuild it would be a good move and a sign of adjustment toward better decisionmaking. But for the Bulls, this is the mess Forman made. He got his coach. He's drafted this team. He's signed these players. This is his failure. I'd be happy if Bulls fired Forman and new guy still said let's make it work with Butler. But the main problem is this roster construction is SO stupid. Isn't this crap worse for you than a rebuild? I'm not going to argue the Jimmy trade stuff with anyone anymore as everyone knows where I stand on that but years like this and last to me are so much worse than a rebuild. And once again, not speaking for anyone else here but personally I'd much rather take time in a rebuild than sit around the middle of the conference(if we do go for it and get back to that point) since you're never going to be able to luck yourself into a championship in basketball like you can in baseball.
  10. QUOTE (Sox-35th @ Jan 19, 2017 -> 07:30 PM) The scary team is the 76ers. There's a really uncertain NBA rebuild. Meanwhile, the Bucks drafted the Greek Freak and now Philadelphia is way behind them. The Sixers have been bad for a while but I certainly wouldn't say they're way behind the Bucks. When Simmons gets back in a little bit here, they're really going to start looking like a fun, young team. It's taken forever but their awfulness is definitely starting to pay off.
  11. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 19, 2017 -> 06:50 PM) I agree with you and I'm very torn. I finally opened up to moving him, but it would take an absurd package, because I still think with Jimmy, you are a lot closer to the top then the bottom and I look at the Lakers, who have largely tanked, and I still see them being a long ways away. If the Lakers can't sign big name FA's when you have a roster of young players, Bulls are going to have an even harder time. ONE OF US ONE OF US
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 19, 2017 -> 05:36 PM) Jimmy Butler has been voted a starting guard for the Eastern Conference All Stars. Well deserved.
  13. QUOTE (shipps @ Jan 19, 2017 -> 04:28 PM) I think the odds are great that at least one or two players emerge in the midst of the mess that next year is going to be as a surprise player. He might be one of them, who the hell knows. I know, shipps, I know.
  14. I bet all of Greg's houses that Avi doesn't have a break out year. At this point I wont even say that I hope I'm wrong because Avi isn't having a break out year, ever.
  15. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jan 19, 2017 -> 02:26 PM) I hate Hall of Fame arguments. To fans, it seems like nobody is ever good enough. Paulie won't get in, but he was good enough IMO. It's hard to get in the Hall. I'm not trying to be an ass here but I would like to hear an argument on why Paulie should be in the Hall. To me, he's not even close so I'd definitely love to hear people's argument on the other side.
  16. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 19, 2017 -> 12:56 PM) @PackerReport If this were a regular-season game, Nelson, Adams and Allison probably would not play, MM says. Not sure how the Packers pull this one off on Sunday. Number 12. Not saying they're going to win but when you have that guy you certainly have a good shot.
  17. It's a cage match so cheating is allowed technically so the refs can't do anything. It is rather annoying that GM's and commissioners or whoever always use the well I'm making a cage match so there wont be any interference when you know that absolutely means there is going to be interference. Anywho, I'm a big fan of Mickie so happy she's back.
  18. If we're going to hate on talented, cocky, young kids then this rebuild is really going to be tough.
  19. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 17, 2017 -> 01:46 PM) No Lifetime Fitness folks? Not a ton of them in the chicagoland area for most of these folks. For me personally, it's a little out of my price range with the other stuff I do and Club is right by work, Life is not.
  20. I worked at FFC about 4 years ago. I will say, it might be a little pricier overall but for what you get, if you can afford it, it's definitely worth it. And I just signed up at Club Fitness over here. Only a $10 enrollment and $20 a month. Really nice facility right by work, the only thing I don't love is it's definitely more crowded than I would like but I make it work.
  21. Been playing in a basketball league once a week and going to be getting back into some MMA stuff here to supplement my normal work outs. Gotta keep up with Shack!
  22. Favre was also quite the diva and no where near as good as Aaron. I'm not a Bears fan so I don't hate the Packers but I was never a fan of Favre and I love watching Rodgers play.
  23. Owens was super over before they gave him the belt, that's why he got it. The title run has definitely been lackluster but that's cause they're focusing more on him and Jericho than anything else. That's fine as it's been super entertaining but the title has definitely been a secondary story. I love Joe too but that's obviously a subjective thing. The rumor I read today for Styles at Mania is that he might be going against Shane. That'll turn me into super angry I'M QUITTING WRESTLING FOREVER fan.
