Duel 150's today. Michael Waltrip Racing already under heavy penalties that will not just effect them this weekend, but through the whole season and possibly into next season as well. Waltrip will need to get his cars fast on qualifying days will out cheating for at least this season. Waltrip will now have to in essence have race his way in every week which made a tough task of getting Toyota in to cup much tougher.

A petition is being sent around and if it is voted into law a couple must prove they can and will have kids. Couples will have 3 years to have kids if not the marriage will be annulled. http://www.cnn.com/video/player/player.htm...ess.couples.cnn EDIT see the thread further down the line.

QUOTE(Mplssoxfan @ Feb 14, 2007 -> 01:56 PM) With any luck, this verdict will be overturned. And now, if you will excuse me, I have to perform multiple scans on my computer. It will be tough to get overturned. They will have to argue that she didn't get a fair trial.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Feb 14, 2007 -> 01:47 PM) According to the testimony during the trial, most places serve around 155 degrees. At that temperature it does not scald. At 180 it does. And McDonalds knew of the danger. That's why the jury sided against McDonalds. Also McDonalds corporate policy was that the Temp should be served at 155 but this restaurant purposely violated the policy because they wanted the coffee to stay hotter longer. Cooperate never checked that restaurant to see if policy was being upheld so that made both the restaurant and corporate liable for any injuries.

I will be here all spring. I know for sure Sat March 3. Anybody attending games at TEP please add an extra half hour drive time for construction on I-10. All exit on ramps from Prince to 29th streets will be closed and all on ramps as well. I-10 will be down to one lane in downtown in other words a big mess for at least 3 more years.

Thanks to everyone who voted for me. Tom -
So none of the meds found in the room where inside her. This is interseting.

We will have to see what the autopsy shows. I will say that this case is either a homicide or accidental death. I would tend to go against suicide at this point. Again just the investigator in me.
-
Do we have any idea if this was accidental/suicide or homicide. Two suspicious deaths in 5 months makes me start wondering, of course that is just the investigator in me talking.

QUOTE(danman31 @ Feb 5, 2007 -> 01:34 AM) More of a general thing that related to this article, but why does everyone think Masset is Major League ready? His AAA numbers are unimpressive, only his K numbers are decent. Massett pitched against Tucson once and was lit up. I believe he surrendered 2 gopher balls one to Chris Young that I wonder if it has landed yet. Has good heat but I seriously doubt he is ready for the bigs yet.

QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Feb 5, 2007 -> 08:43 PM) the infield and outfield group might be the worst I have ever seen by the Sox. our farm system is going into the toilet at express speed. Maybe Tucson vs Charlotte in the 2007 Bricktown Showdown!

Signed RHP Vladimir Nunez Signed LHP Jesus Loera Signed 1B Fernando Valenzuela Jr. Signed 3B Corey Smith Signed SS Kenny Perez Saw Kenny Perez last year in Tucson, had a lot of clutch hits for us last year so I assume he will be on Charlotte Roster.

Official: Randy Johnson traded to Diamondbacks
BHAMBARONS replied to Gregory Pratt's topic in The Diamond Club
QUOTE(Wanne @ Jan 4, 2007 -> 12:56 PM) Friggin D'Backs are IDIOTS for doing this...which is nothing really more than a PR move on their part to try and put some butts back in the seats after stagnent attendence the last few years...and a little makeup move for how they dealt with Gonzo. Not saying I disagree with letting Gonzo go...it was just the manner in which they did it that pissed D'Back fans off out here. As with any sport out here in Phoenix...apathy sets in. Sure...there's a billion Suns fans right now...but wait when they're in decline...nobody goes except corporate people. Randy Johnson is a prick...plain and simple. You just wait...if and when he ends up back in Phoenix...I should start an over and under on the week he starts to b**** and moan about the team. I say middle of June he should be in top prick form. I don't know about you but I am so tired of this Randy Johnson s***. I just wish it would end one way or the other. The Dbacks have other needs that need to be fixed more than this RJ trade. -

Big win last night for us. Really excited about the Suns this year we have a lot of weapons and it should be a fun rest of the season. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jan 2, 2007 -> 09:35 PM) Question: If the season ended today, is Nash the MVP again? He's having his best season yet. He has to be close. Steve has hit so many big shots this year for us maybe not game winners but still big shots none of the less. -

BHAMBARONS replied to Gregory Pratt's topic in The Diamond Club
An update from here in Phoenix: It seems like the Johnson Trade is dead. The Yanks and Dbacks agreed on a deal but RJ wants $14 million for 2008. Unless Johnson comes down on his 2008 price he will not be coming to Phoenix. -
Bajenaru a diamondback minor leaguer any interest

QUOTE(easyw @ Dec 31, 2006 -> 08:08 AM) Jesus told him to throw all those bad pitches. the guy is a head case. What the hell are you talking about? Have you ever met him? I assume not because if you did you would quickly realize that he is anything but. -

BHAMBARONS replied to Bubba Philips's topic in FutureSox Board
We resigned Baj on November 20th. He will compete for the final spot in the Dbacks Bullpen with Tony Pena. -
Tucson faced both Masset and Danks last year. Danks had 8K's in 5 innings but had to throw many pitches (95 giving up 2 runs). Chris Young led off the game with a ringing triple off the CF wall after that he only gave up three more hits afterwards, but struggled with his command 95 pitches 51 strikes. Masset really struggled in this game he gave up a single to Matt Erickson, struck out Robby Hammock but he reached on a Wild Pitch, Young singled, Hariston singled and Carter blasted a Fastball halfway to St. Louis before being pulled.
