  1. No pressure...just sweep 'em...Go Brandon...Welcome aboard!
  2. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 21, 2005 -> 03:39 PM) Then ozzie decides timo is the best option to get on base... YEah, what was that...how about Iguchi...I know lefty bat...still, Gooch is better than a s***ty lefty bat. Timo has to go. Has anyone started the 'Timo's gots to go' club?
  3. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ May 21, 2005 -> 03:25 PM) f*** YOU FLUBBS!!!! YOU f***ING SUCK!!!!!!!!!! DONT YOU WISH YOU HAD A REAL BASEBALL TEAM!?!?!?! GIMMIE A HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!! Despite Nuke's attempt to jinx them, we won...so I'll give ya a HELL YEAH!
  4. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 21, 2005 -> 01:18 PM) I'm not glad, let's just say I'm not gonna complain. We have 7 guys with these guys...coming up...so I'm not going to complain either.
  5. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 20, 2005 -> 08:00 AM) "Tiny tweaks can unlock career years" http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/stor..._tim&id=2062819 Its too bad Jonny Boy can't pitch at the urinal this weekend and show the Cubs how they f***ed up. By the way, that Lew Ford picture disturbs me....not sure why. Its like he is flirting with me. Ewww.
  6. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ May 19, 2005 -> 01:21 PM) i turned it off...the window comes up but nothing will load.... It was working fine for me....there are tickets out there...
  7. This is Ken Rosenthal's response to my e-mail...obvioulsy this was B.S....he didn't start this... "I seriously doubt it. Chavez is in the first year of a six-year, $66 million deal. "
  8. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 19, 2005 -> 09:22 AM) If anyone wants to email Ken Rosenthal and ask him if this rumor is true, here's his email: kenrosenthal@sportingnews.com Sent
  9. QUOTE(rafacosta @ May 19, 2005 -> 09:12 AM) Fields can change position and go to 1B, after a huge contract like Chavez, PK would be expendable... Ok, sounds moe possible.
  10. QUOTE(rafacosta @ May 19, 2005 -> 08:59 AM) Yesterday line up was very good. I love to see AJ hitting 5th, between PK and Die. RH, LH, and RH! Agreed...Ozzie should keep it like this.
  11. I bet the Sox are counting on not signing Crede, due to the Boras factor...but we have Josh Fields. This doesn't really sound likely.

    The Dells..

    QUOTE(Steff @ May 19, 2005 -> 09:00 AM) I've been looking at them this morning... I see kids.. and lots of them. Oh, I made an assumption you had kids. If not, I'm not sure you really want to go there...or not for very long. Like previous posters said, its a lot of waterparks and golfing. There is a shopping area, that also has some bars and restaurants...plus some golfing...

    YOu'er looking at like a 3-3 1/2 hour ride...I would recommend a hotel with a water park in it...it will save you money. And things are very centrally located...pretty much on one long strip. I stayed at teh Polynesian and loved it. All the big places to stay have pretty kick ass websites you can check out
  14. QUOTE(mreye @ May 19, 2005 -> 08:39 AM) Lets' add the "C" word while we're at it. I mean, Let's f***in' add the f***in' "C" word while we're f***in' at it. :rolly f***in A Right!
  15. QUOTE(mreye @ May 19, 2005 -> 08:19 AM) Yes, can someone change the spelling to be correct? Just change it to AJ f***ing Pollock...
  16. my favorite is definately FRank...and I also have a lot of love for Fisk and Baines.
  17. Yeah, a nice 3 year deal sounds good to me. Lets keep this guy. NO mattter what, I believe we have this guy next year, due to arbitration. Can anyone confirm that? And this is the second time I've heard about these contacts. Sounds strange.
  18. Bye bye Timo. It was nice knowing ye.
  19. I thought there was a charge to do certain things?
  20. I realize this could be put in the sports bar...but it is important for the Sox. The Twins stopper got shelled last night....5.1 IP, 9 H, 7 R,and only 5 SO. Nice. Good to see him get shelled. Hopefully it screws up his confidence.
  21. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 18, 2005 -> 07:14 AM) 28-12 is music to my ears. That is .700 ball through a 40 game stretch. If we can play even .600 ball the rest of the way we will win 101 games, and .550 ball will still get us 95 wins. These 40 games have been huge and really put a ton of pressure on the Twins to get hot, while we fall apart. And finally to my boys, you have earned it. I don't care what the haters say, this is a special group. Yeah...this is certainly impressive...no doubt.
  22. QUOTE(Steff @ May 18, 2005 -> 08:07 AM) Mike and Mike quote... "and now it's time to talk about the kid that is turning the baseball world upside down..... Jon Garland". :rolly That is a great quote! Love the Garland!
  23. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 18, 2005 -> 07:39 AM) Wow I didn't realize that Tads hadn't been a #2 hitter in Japan. He looks like he has been doing it all of his life the way he gets runners over, and runs the bases. Also in reply, there is no need to move Iguchi at all. The one consistant in our line up this year has been Pods getting on and Iguchi getting him over. There is no need to mess with that. Obviously Kenny saw this guy and knew he would fit perfect at #2, despite being a power hitter. I love this guy! Love him. Hey, Ray King, can he hit MLB pitching? Dumb f***.
  24. QUOTE(ISF @ May 17, 2005 -> 10:04 AM) Rowand is hitting the cover off the ball since moving to the #3 spot. I think it might make sense to move Paulie down in the order and take some pressure off. Everett could bat in the cleanup spot, with Uribe/Pierzynski 5th. Move Kong and Dye down to 6th and 7th. I agree...ARow in third spot....Everett at 4th until Frank is back...then Frank 4, Everett 5.
