  1. QUOTE (joeynach @ Jan 6, 2010 -> 05:31 PM) I would definatly hammer that point to oblivion if I were you, and perhaps CC the Sales Manager along with your rep when making that argument. No offense but believe me some ticket reps are simply inexperienced fresh out of school with a B.A. and have no clue what they are doing and how to actually develop business, something that most people is dependent on strong relationships. Well, I didn't have to hammer anything home. I got a call back from the director of client services, and I got things done. The notes they had on me were completely incorrect. I was in row 3 and it said I wanted to move closer to the field. WRONG. I wanted to switch sides of the field and was more concerned about moving back in the section. The view from row 3 is not very good...when you are down the line. I am happy...and I just got my new black Peavy jersey in the mail (awesome) and my Beckham jersey and I'm ready for sox fest and i got my tickets for spring training...and ....is this a run on sentence? Lets go get it...I'm ready for the season.
  2. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 6, 2010 -> 07:07 PM) Tony-where you at in 149? Row 19, Seats 1 and 2...weekdays...so I can throw popcorn at you.
  3. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 6, 2010 -> 01:34 PM) It appears I may be moving up as well. I believe you were close up in the section too...I would much rather be in row 19, than row 2 or 3. Are you going to be around 115/116 still? I am now in 149.
  4. Done...got to change sides of the field...moved two sections closer...and moved up 17 rows, for a better view. I was in row 2, but I hated the view. This will be much better.
  5. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 6, 2010 -> 12:20 PM) Our rep's initials are NM (don't want to put specific names out here), and she's been fine. But we don't request much, so we really only deal with her for our annual request for going to full seasons. I've never had problems with any rep we've had. I don't think my rep is bad...but I'm sick of getting the same f'ing response on tickets...its a canned e-mail that pretty much says 'F you'
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 6, 2010 -> 10:19 AM) I've made the request several years in a row now to no avail. Well, I called up and demanded a new rep...and I expect to get something done. I'm not as concerned about upgrade, as I am in moving to the Sox side of the field. I would hope that the $20,000 + I spent there for my wedding, might get something done. Otherwise, this might be my last year buying season tix.
  7. QUOTE (chiguy79 @ Jan 6, 2010 -> 09:39 AM) Just checking in, I spoke to my ticket agent he said they were just starting to look at seat upgrades, based on my prior experience it seems later in the year so thought I would check in with what others have heard. My experience has been that my ticket rep has done nothing for me, ever, in this area...and I have asked for 3 years in a row.
  8. QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Dec 15, 2009 -> 12:59 PM) Berstein is a tool when he's not being funny.... There is no content to this show...its all commercials. And when they do come back on live, its more commercials.
  9. I'm pretty excited about this team. Can't wait for Sox fest, then spring training, and then opening day.
  10. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 2, 2009 -> 12:41 PM) He might be referring to the smaller structures immediately south of the park - but I think the taller ones are retirement homes, and the shorter ones further south MIGHT be section 8 housing. I am not sure. I'm referring to the ones just south of the park. So it sounds like they are still there.
  11. Are the housing projects south of the stadium still there? I park on the north side. That needs to go, just like all housing projects.
  12. QUOTE (joeynach @ Nov 1, 2009 -> 12:03 PM) Lol this exclusive from WBBM is about a year late. I have all the schematics for the plan from the design firm and have had them for over a year. I posted them here like a year ago. Its funny how exclusive WBBM is though. Here is a sample of what I got. I recall...each game this year I pointed out where the new shops/restaurants would be. Either way, its exciting.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 24, 2009 -> 08:08 AM) It is amazing how quickly the opinion of Jermaine Dye has changed. 2 votes? Wow. Make it 3!
  14. Were you the guy with the really cute boyfriend? Yeah, I saw you. You guys looked so happy.
  15. The Tigers are going to lose again today and tomorrow. Go Royals!
  16. I will be there...please don't make me vomit...show some fire and win this f***ing game.
  17. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Sep 2, 2009 -> 02:43 PM) WHITE SOX WINNER!!! ALRIGHT, DICK SUCKERS!!! LET’S GET THIS PARTY STARTED! "If its going to be that kind of party, I'm gonna stick my dick in the mash-potatas!"
  18. Its weird...only 2 games left in the s*** dome, but the season is over already.
  19. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Aug 31, 2009 -> 08:23 AM) LOL at the people who think firing Guillen would solve the problem(s). Agree...I think without Ozzie we'd be way worse. The team should be embarrassed of themselves.
  20. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Aug 28, 2009 -> 10:30 AM) Buerhle neds to show up tonight This...but I'll replace neds with needs.
  21. QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 11:55 AM) Just rest him until September 4th vs Boston. Perfect...I'll be at the game. Sounds like a plan.
  22. QUOTE (djcollie03 @ Aug 26, 2009 -> 01:08 PM) While some of you have full season ticket packages those of us with splits - especially those of us in the upper box section - have some serious decision making in the next week or so. By Sept 2, it should be somewhat clear if the team will be in contention or not. I can't imagine, given the economy and the sour taste in many fans mouths right now, that the line will be huge for season tix next year. That in mind, if they appear to be out of it, do you say the heck with paying now - forfeit the seats and then just ask for them next year when you get back? It's not like the seats around me have had the same people in them all year - either no one has season tix or the people that due just move them all the time. Thoughts? I wouldn't be surprised if you get better seats.
  23. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 26, 2009 -> 08:56 AM) Here is how it works. Basically, this is like asking for your season ticket deposit very early. Any unused tickets, that money goes towards your 2010 bill. You can take a pass on the post-season tickets, but then you lose your season ticket account, and you go back to the end of the line if you start over. The best part is the $25 they make on every invoice, to process the tickets, which is non-refundable. NIce scam there.
