  1. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 12:25 PM) Wow with crazy nonsensical attitudes like that I guess we should all just get inked cuz that's so much better. I try to be as nonsensical as possible.
  2. Mustaches are kind of pedophile-ish on white men. Not sure why. That being said, whoever grows 'em should post 'em in this thread.
  3. This continuous losing to the Tigers is making me not care. Win tonight...kick some ass this next week, and pull me back from the brink. Please Sox.
  4. I'm against bunting in almost all situations. Why give the other team an out? I have seen it fail more than I have seen it work. f*** bunting!
  5. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 12, 2012 -> 07:45 AM) I have a very strong feeling that this series will not end up 2-2. The team that wins tonight will also win tomorrow. I hope you're wrong, because tonight's matchup looks real bad for us. Plus Robin will probably do some dumb s*** again.
  6. I am so against f***ing bunting. I could not believe Robin was doing that last night after Benoit-balls had given up three straight hits. Way to kill the f***ing rally, after Robin was dumb enough to bring in Liriano in a close game. Dogs***. Can't wait to see how f***ed up tonight's game gets. Floyd vs. Scherzer? We're f***ed.
  7. QUOTE (kapzk @ Sep 11, 2012 -> 11:54 AM) Time for Peavy to deliver a big game performance. Time for Peavy to earn that fat paycheck!
  8. QUOTE (sunofgold @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 10:06 AM) WHITE SOX still in first! If nobody else wants first, we will take it. Just stay a step Ahead. I'm ready to see a hot streak. How about 6 in a row?!?
  9. Going tonight...halfway to St. Patty's....let's drink some beer and kick some ass!
  10. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 30, 2012 -> 02:10 PM) Ramirez just passed Konerko in RBI's. Weird. Konerko has been pathetic since that hot streak at the end of May/early June. His RBIs are sad since then.
  11. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 30, 2012 -> 02:00 PM) vs Bal 1-3 vs Bos 1-3 at Cle 2-2 at NY 2-2 at Bos 1-3 at Tor 3-1 at Bal 1-3, barring a miracle finish Losing 4 of 7 is pretty bad.
  12. The screaming guy needs his mouth duct taped. Jesus.
  13. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 30, 2012 -> 01:43 PM) The new format is going to penalize the wild card a lot more. The odds a wild card team wins the extra game and then wins a best-of-5 has gone way down, and that will be proven over the next 10-20 years. So unless the Sox win the division, I really don't give them much of a chance anyway. Its not ideal, but at least we will be in. If we don't make the playoffs, after being in first most of the year, its going to be real dissappointing.
  14. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 30, 2012 -> 01:37 PM) Since the Tigers swept the Sox in July: Sox 22-12 Det 17-16 Everyone chill. So you've enjoyed this series? We might be fighting this team for a playoff spot and we've taken a giant s***.
  15. So glad I'm off work and can watch this dogs*** game. f***ing joke. This series sucked. Please remove heads from asses for the weekend.
  16. I was at the game last night. Surrounded by Yankee fans. Was so annoyed by the end of the game that I was rubbing it into kids faces. Nice win. Fun game. So tired.
  17. QUOTE (OldSmoky2 @ Aug 16, 2012 -> 11:44 PM) That's too bad and I also feel for his family and friends. I was watching tonight and wondering about it as well because of my own experience with that. In 2005 I was fortunate to get a ticket to the first playoff game against the Red Sox. It was great, of course - I was in the corner down by the right field pole and we won bigtime, 13 or 14 runs I think. But the two or three times I went upstairs for food, etc., my left shoulder just felt strange - tired is the best word I can think of to describe it. The next night at home I started feeling that again and, after a while, realized I probably should get to a hospital. I went to Illinois Masonic and less than five minutes after I got there went into full cardiac arrest. The great people there brought me back, got me in surgery and found two blocked arteries. I was lucky, and I was watching tonight and hoping that guy would have the same luck. That's just too bad he didn't make it. How frightening. Glad you are here. Last night was a real big smack of reality right in the middle of a fun game. Sad.
  18. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Aug 16, 2012 -> 11:46 AM) Helps when you hit on instant, big-time talent in the draft in the first round: 1990: Alex Fernandez 1989: Frank Thomas 1988: Robin Ventura 1987: Jack McDowell That string of success was unreal. I remember how excited I was to see Frank come up and play. Wish I could relive that time now, with the current setup for the playoffs. That could have been a fun ride with today's playoff system.
  19. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 16, 2012 -> 08:41 AM) I have to do this AGAIN? Really? I have a job, people. GO YOU WHITE SOX!!! Enjoy. No pictures? You stink at this job.
  20. Go, fight, win! Its going to be bad news for the Blue Jays and Royals!
  21. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 01:56 PM) I'm going with "Frank Thomas" as the trivia answer. Probably...I forgot Frank.
  22. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 01:57 PM) What was the question? Last A's to drive in 100 runs
  23. QUOTE (SnB @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 09:29 AM) Maybe I've grown up a little, but the whole sox-cubs thing is just annoying now. I'm not going to root for them, but I'm not watching their games/checking up on scores to see if they lose. To paint w/ a broad brush, the "CUBS SUCK" type of sox fan is usually the lowest common denominator fan there is. Cubs suck!
