  1. I was disgusted yesterday. Addison Reed is the man...give him the job Robin!
  2. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 02:34 PM) He's gotten a few pitches up to 94, but the majority of his pitches are 90-92/93 today. 7 K's for Gordon already, trails Morel and Dunn by one. UGH. Can we see some more Lillibridge? Please.
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 08:27 AM) Gonzo fires back: Man, we all need to head to Vegas and put all our savings down. With these types of numbers, we can' lose.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 07:59 AM) Buster Olney ‏ @Buster_ESPN ELIAS: Yankees have best record in home openers since 2000, at 11-1. White Sox have 2nd-best record, 10-2. Both open at home today. I like those numbers. Let's make it 11-2! Go Sox!
  5. QUOTE (balfanman @ Apr 10, 2012 -> 08:34 AM) I know A. J. has his faults, and there's always going to a few catchers in the league that overall you'd rather have than A.J.; but since 2005 when he arrived we sure could of done a lot worse in the catching department. I'll take him! I agree, but his ability to throw out runners is pathetic.
  6. I don't think meanest makes sense...maybe most annoying...but according to a poll by SI...AJ is the winner! Meanest Player
  7. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Sep 3, 2011 -> 04:44 PM) We need an irony font. I think he's said "as a former pitcher..." at least 784 times through 4 innings I haven't heard much. Flipping channels.
  8. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Sep 3, 2011 -> 04:39 PM) Just so I'm clear, was Mitch Williams a former pitcher? Yep. Was with cubs in 1989. The wild thing!
  9. I'm surprised in Rios' reaction...I didn't think he actually cared!
  10. QUOTE (Bhay99 @ Aug 31, 2011 -> 11:52 AM) Didn't he have an infield single and a bloop single? He tried to kill the rally after Minny went up 3-0...but the s***ty-Twins can't field this year. There should have been a double-play before DeAza hit the homerun. I think Rios got a hit for it.
  11. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Aug 31, 2011 -> 11:25 AM) Holy s***, I assumed that Diamond was a lefty, and thats why Rios is playing over De Aza, but holy s***, Diamond is a righty. So Ozzie would rather have a RvR matchup, and play Rios, then use De Aza who is hot, plays good D, is faster, and provides a RvL matchup. WOWOWOWOWOW. The paper says Diamond is a Lefty.
  12. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 31, 2011 -> 10:08 AM) Pierre lf, lillibridge 1b, PK dh, Rios cf, Ramirez ss, Viciedo rf, Flowers c, Morel 3b, Beckham 2b Awesome...we're going to sweep the Twins with Rios as our 4th hitter. Ozzie is just showboating all over Gardenhire....look at me, I can beat your s***ty team with Rios in the clean up spot!
  13. Wore my Ozzie jersey last night...Rios batted fourth...we won! YAY!
  14. I loved watching the Twins throw the ball around the field yesterday. Do it again you f***ing pukes! Sweep these pansies...and Go Royals! Here we come D-Town...time for you to fall apart again down the stretch.
  15. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 01:21 PM) LOL and SMH at Rios hitting 4th again. f*** you Ozzie. Ozzie is sandwiching Rios between the Captain and the Tank so he will see some good pitches. With my Ozzie jersey on tonight, I'm pretty sure Rios is going to go 3 for 4 with a dinger. My pick to Click...RIOS!!!!
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 12:32 PM) Spiegel really took Cowley to task for defending some of Guillens boneheaded moves, and Cowley got really defensive. Spiegs is suggesting that Ozzie is doing stuff just to spite Kenny, like batting Rios 4th. Would he do that? Can't we all just get along?
  17. This is quite a heated discussion going on with Cowley. I don't know that I heard this before, but apparently Kenny bumped into him and called him a 'f'ing piece of s***' It seems pretty obvious to me that the relationship between Kenny and Ozzie has really hurt our team this year.
  18. Cowley says that someone in the organization told him that even a playoff run can't save Ozzie.
  19. Joe Cowley to be on the score shortly
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 11:19 AM) Some of you guys are gluttons for punishment. Some of us? All of us...we're Sox fans.
  21. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 11:09 AM) If I were attending the game I'd challenge you to a duel. All duel requests will be accepted. Section 149, Row 19, Seat 1!
  22. I'm wearing my Ozzie jersey tonight!
  23. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 10:24 AM) I'd like to see this survey, because Ozzie was listed as second to last a few seasons ago. Joe Madden was 1. Ozzie is Number 6 Most Popular Manager
  24. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 10:12 AM) Honestly, tony, if you haven't seen this team fail because of Ozzie over the last half decade, then there is nothing that will change your mind. There is a reason why it seems that about 95-99% of fans want him gone. I don't believe managers in baseball play that much into the outcome of a game. I think the most important part of his job is getting everyone to believe in him and want to play for him. Ozzie does that, for the most part. There was a recent survey that showed Ozzie was the 6th most popular manager to play for. Heard it on the score. If the players don't want to play for him, like a Mike Quade type, then the guy has to go.
  25. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 10:05 AM) He's had some ridiculously talented teams while he's been here. Which ones? '06? We couldn't get over the Tigers...they still played well. The pitching was lacking, if memory serves.
