  1. There will be a viewing of this tonight at the Waterworks in Lyons. Probably a little after 7PM.
  2. I heard on AM1000 that the Best Buy in Downers had the DVD on sale today...so I ran over there...and sure enough...I just bought 2. Now AM1000 is reporting that the display was just taken down. BUT I GOT MINE! HA HA.
  3. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Nov 22, 2005 -> 09:47 AM) My friend just IM'd me at work saying that Bruce Levine reported a potential trade of Rowand and either Contreras or Bmac for Thome. Did anyone else here this? Please say it ain't so. That would be an awful trade. If it's true, why would we get rid of pitching and defense (the reason we won it all) for a slugger? Trying to get back to the 2nd place formula of 2001-2004? If we make that deal, we will need to sign a pitcher, in my opinion. Orlanda can't be a starter anymore. he doesn't have it. And for center, we would have Brian Anderson and Jerry Owens battling it out in spring training. Our problem right now is our abundance of outfielders...not that it is a problem, but the area we are deep in.
  4. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) Thats cool. I dont mind if its not brand new, but I would like a newer one for cheap for sure. I haven't heard Live that cheap, but definately a 2005 for cheap
  5. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 10:24 AM) and if it existed I'd be there tonight...showing you how to play golden tee. Hah, I put them in the bar, not play them.
  6. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 10:06 AM) I want it all. I want it all. I want it all. And I want it NOW! Call up, you could be watching in minutes. I should leave work right now!
  7. QUOTE(3E8 @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 10:04 AM) I want the Savannah episodes. Oh yeah, love that girl. She has had a lot of good appearances. How about anal ring toss? That would be good. And no, its not a gay thing.
  8. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 10:01 AM) Wow, all un-edited. I might have to check that out.... That's the key...un-edited.
  9. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 09:57 AM) One of your bars?? Where are your bars? I have games at Park Blvd in Villa Park..and other places...I don't own any bar. If I did, it would be the greatest Sox bar possible.
  10. Just ordered it from Comcast...$9.99 a month...below is the schedule...I know what I'll be watching first...ERica the Gymnast Schedule
  11. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Nov 17, 2005 -> 04:57 PM) workin on it. I have a guy who said I could get golden tee live for 1800 bucks. Seems to goodt o be true. But if it isnt, you are more than welcome. Beers, cigars, golden tee, whitesox games, is this heaven? It won't be new. New is around $5000. I recently sold my buddy a Golden Tee 2000 for $200. And I just bought a Golden Tee 2005 for one of my bars, used/redone, for $1500.
  12. QUOTE(Steff @ Nov 17, 2005 -> 12:05 PM) I've been to Yankee Stadium. About the same, minus the s***ty seats. Shea was the worst of all 23 stadiums I've been to. Note to self...holiday gift ideas for Steff...Road trip to Fenway and Shea...
  13. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 17, 2005 -> 12:58 PM) I think your right about that, expect for the Owens. I dont think Owens is ready, and has no spot on this yet, so it would be dumb to let him rot on the bench. I Well, you go into spring training, assuming Brian Anderson will be the centerfielder (if Rowand traded) and then if Owens impresses, maybe he beats him out or is a backup...if not, off to Triple A
  14. The Fire and Ice Thermos Grill...you can find it at Amazon...its on my list...can't wait to use it on April 3rd.
  15. QUOTE(Steff @ Nov 17, 2005 -> 10:42 AM) I hope somehow he can be a guest at Soxfest. They should have everyone together at the opening ceremony. Definately. They all helped us win and it will be nice to continue to celebrate with them.
  16. Jeff Blum, we hardly knew ye. Good luck with the Padres.
  17. Well, I pulled the trigger...the wheels are in motion. I look forward to seeing you other season ticket holders at the games...Steff, Rock, whoever else. Steff, will I be considered a bastard step child for only having a partial plan?
  18. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 01:11 PM) That would make sense. From what my dad was told, supposdly a very nice guy(Brian Jordan IIRC) that it should be no problem. Obviously things can also change. Hopfully everything goes well, and we can get to opening day. That is my main concern, being able to get into opening day. We always get club level and I think this year we'll have a hard time. Plus we take the limo and do it up. LOVE OPENING DAY.
  19. QUOTE(Steff @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 01:07 PM) Oh no.. it's true that holders have always gotten the opportunity in the past to buy extras. You didn't dispute it...you said something about getting extra Cubs tix or something. I guess we'll have to see how this year goes.
  20. QUOTE(Steff @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 01:05 PM) That's the $10,000 question right now.. with so many new ticket holders, right now there is no guarantee on extras. If any are avaliable it looks like seniority will play a role in who gets to order extras until they run out. I'll look at it this way...I will have these 27 games, which will be great. And I can always try getting more tix...through the Sox or my connection or whatever. But I know I'll be at these and have some post season options. I can't F'ing wait.
  21. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 01:02 PM) I could be wrong, and another season ticket veteran could tell you for sure, but im almost positive that with split season tickets, you get an order form about 3 weeks before single game tickets go on sale, so you can get them for sure. We have purchased the weekend plan, and a big selling point was that we can still pretty much be guarenteed to get Opening day, Cards, and NYY tickets. That would be HUGE. I want to stay Steff disputed that though. The problem is that my chances of getting a weekend plan, just got smaller. but what you said applies both ways. Thanks.
  22. QUOTE(Steff @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 12:57 PM) Why would you vote for a place you've never been to..? yeah, but most people on this board probably haven't seen these parks. I've only been to Wrigley, County Stadium, Miller Park, Comiskey, and The Cell. So my opinion definatly is useless.
  23. QUOTE(timotime @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 12:57 PM) good buy. i like ozuna I agree...a nice little sub.
  24. I am considering taking a split season package, Section 113, Row CC (yes, third row). I initially wanted a weekend package. But after looking at this, I think the weekday package would be better for me. First, I can get to the park easily, at any time. so weekends/weeknights not a big deal. Second, this package has 2 STL games...and 2 NYY games, and 1 Cubs game. Third, its a little more spaced out. 27 games is perfect for me, and the games won't be right on top of each other. PLease, check out the links, and give me any feedback. Hit And Run Package Section 113
