  1. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 03:36 PM) LMAO.. don't you have a radio in your office.. ?? Not everyone has an Ozzie to English dictionary!
  2. If Ozzie wins the world series, he'll jump right to the top of my list...do it Ozzie!
  3. QUOTE(Winnin Ugly @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 02:57 PM) Name me another Sox mgr that has been better than Ozzie Terry Bevington Rocked!
  4. wow, that was long...JP has always been quite a character. He always makes me laugh.
  5. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) Does anyone remember "The White Sox Sonata" ? I actually found a copy of it off of Kazaa. No idea..please explain...
  6. QUOTE(3E8 @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 12:41 PM) Are the Cubs games different? Can't you just drive into one of the lots on gameday and pay the fee? Yeah you can...but they eliminate $8 early parking in lot G...bastards!
  7. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 12:38 PM) general question here: in the new introduction video before the game (the one with all the old highlights and such......before thunderstruck) what is that song? i'd love to have that video. no doubt...that video is great.
  8. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 12:23 PM) I always liked having "runaround Sue" like the used to play after pitching changes. Also a good songs to have on any Sox CD are "My kind of town" and "Sweet Home Chicago" good suggestions...
  9. QUOTE(TheDybber @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 12:24 PM) Where's my copy? All these songs are on whitesox interactive....
  10. Some of these are more comical than anything...but who cares...whatever drives the unwanted Cub fans out of there... 1. Let's Go Go Go White Sox! by Captain Stubby and the Buccaneers (1959) 2. Go Sox! by Pell Mell and the Bleacher Boys 3. Go Go Go Sox Go Go! with Sox announcer Bob Elson (1960) 4. '59 Fever (Winnin' Ugly) by Stormy Weather (1983) 5. Na Na Hey Hey, Good Bye! with Sox announcer Harry Caray (1977) 6. Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Good Bye by Steam Today it's a stadium anthem throughout America, but the tradition started with Nancy Faust and Sox fans at Old Comiskey Park in 1977--just like all of Chicago's best baseball traditions 7. Take Me Out to the Ballgame – Nancy Faust’s Organ 8. Na Na Hey Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye – Nancy Faust’s Organ 9. Talkin' Baseball (the South Side & the Sox) (1984)
  11. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 11:47 AM) Caddy Shack quotes are the s***. "Hey everybody, we're all gonna get laid." "What's that sign say? - No bare feet. What's THAT sign say? - No Fighting."
  12. I picked Garland...but they might both lose out to Halladay
  13. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 11:39 AM) They have one from Caddyshack toward the end. "You buy a hat like that, you give you a free bowl of soup. oh, looks good on you though!"
  14. QUOTE(Al Lopez's Ghost @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 10:25 AM) I think B and B are terrifically funny, and when they say something I disagree with, I don't take it personally. Terrifically funny? Give me a break. they repeat their crap over and over again.
  15. Zito's numbers the last few years are not very good...like someone else said, if we get 2002 Barry Zito, sure, otherwise, I'll pass
  16. QUOTE(Southside hitmen @ Jun 22, 2005 -> 10:07 AM) I have never listen to these guys before since I lived in NY. Are these two idiots always like this. first off, you can stream them now over the internet...secondly, boers really hates the Sox, it is obvious, and he gets bernstein, a sox fan, to go along with his hatred...f*** both of them...they're not funny...and its the same dumb schtick over and over again with them...everyday...same lame routine.
  17. QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 01:23 PM) That would be cool, but lets worry about KC first, just take one game at a time. Sing as if it was Stayin Alive.... One game at a time, One game at a time, Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, One GAme at a Time,... Ok, I'm lame
  18. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 02:32 PM) I don't think Cliff has any reason to be anything but proud of his wins. Oh, no doubt...these could be considered holds, if he hadn't of gotten a win...his are different...Usually having wins as a reliever is bad.
  19. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 01:56 PM) Rightbut you also have to remember that Oakland used their closers differently so its not that he blew 20 saves and hung on to win half. They'd bring in guys early or in tied games. Not saying he didn't blow a few for them but it wouldn't be entirely accurate to say his 11 wins were undesirable Koch led the league in 2002 with 9 blown saves...here is an article about some of the times the A's came back to save his ass...like I said, I don't understand why we ever traded for this guy... Koch Blows
  20. QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 01:52 PM) Then what happened.... You don't want closers to have wins...or losses...Koch kept blowing leads that his team would regain in the bottom of the ninth....that's why I never understood trading for that guy....although we did get Cotts...
  21. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 11:58 AM) Out of curiousity, after watching Scott Pods play in LF, and get some of the worst reads ever, are there any people who would almost rather see Everett out there than Podsednik... strictly on a defensive basis. No, because most of the time, his speed can make up for an initial mis-judged ball. And his speed also allows him to get to a lot of balls that Everett wouldn't even smell
  22. Just ask him when he thinks he'll get released....then start singing the Go-Go White Sox Song.
  23. I don't tail-gate much and if I do, its usually just drinking...not eating...but I need to start doing this more...its awesome and saves money. My biggest problem is having white sox friends to do it with. They're mostly Cub fan scumbags!
  24. You hit the nail on the head...this song rocks and needs to be brought back. I've been singing it for 4 days in a row...and I had never heard it until friday... It should be part of games, it should be sold along with other 'Sox songs' via Comiskey...you could have Nancy doing Take Me Out...Na Na Na Nah...hawkisms...all kind of cool stuff. There is a bunch of similar stuff on White Sox Interactive. I have put the song on a CD and I am putting it in one of my bar jukeboxes. Its pretty much a Sox bar and it would be great. I play on doing that SOON! Go Go White Sox.
  25. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 09:56 AM) I gotta admit a St. Louis/Sox World Series would be mighty nice!! cub fans would absolutely hate that..it would be f***ing great. And I am worried about both Minnesota and Cleveland....but we also need to take care of our business, and everything will fall into place. Let's Go Go-Go White Sox!
