  1. What does everyone think of Cam Cannarella? Feels like he’ll go somewhere around where we pick. Hit tool is pretty good and the defense and speed are ++. I still think the value at 10 is probably up the middle prep with Willits, Carlson, Cunningham depending who’s there if any of those 3 but curious on how the board views Canarrella? Lack of power will be big issue with his evaluation I’m sure. Looks like he’s a max 15 HR guy.
  2. Yea I almost threw him in there instead. Still think Getz can do better.
  3. Would guess Mets offer something like.. Jett Gilbert Clifford Tidwell? mehhh for me
  4. I think they can pry Mayer away. Don’t think they are getting Campbell though sadly.
  5. Do Mets really go hard now to try to acquire Crochet and really go for it? Don’t love the headliner with them. Would prefer to go trade him elsewhere personally.
  6. Reds are pretty meh for me too. still holding out for Redsox, Cubs or Orioles
  7. Hope this is the reason for the Yankees reported interest.
  8. Yankees in on Crochet while Reds lurking as a legit threat according to Redsox insider. Yankees would be very underwhelming.
  9. I don’t see Redsox including Campbell in a deal for Crochet even though that would be fantastic. Would guess something like Mayer, Montgomery and a 3rd slightly lesser flyer maybe? Maybe someone like Cespedes. Would prefer guys with no ST.
  10. Yea I’m not sure about that part. I could see Assad to the pen. Had some Cubs buddies of mine tell me same thing. Would love to deal with them though personally. Just a surplus of hitters.
  11. Yes Shaw is very good. I think Caissie would be the headline piece though. Not sure they could pry Shaw away but that would be great.
  12. Just my opinion but I don’t think you’d hey both. I think you’d have to look at something closer to Caissie Triantos Rojas that might even be a little rich in Cubs eyes.
  13. Boston, Cubs, Phillies I think can give you a stronger package with a higher upside headliner. Boston is loaded with offense in their system while Cubs have like 9 top 100 guys virtually all hitters (besides Horton). Philly has strong headline piece in Miller and some really good pieces to go along too with one or both of Crawford and Caba. Maybe a Hell no was a bit aggressive lol but I much prefer those other 3 teams and what they can offer package wise.
  14. Reds are a hell no for me. Boston, Philly, Cubs, Orioles all could offer better packages more hitter friendly.
  15. I don’t think they are getting Montgomery + one of the big 4. If they got Campbell and Montgomery alone I’d be excited not mentioning a flyer as the 3rd piece.
  16. I think in the end this comes down to one of the Redsox, Mets or Phillies. Of these 3 I think Boston matches up best but Philly could put together a really good package as well.
  17. Really good hire. He’s been around a lot of great baseball people, was Bochys right hand man in Texas allegedly. Players coach type personality who should get the most out of his guys. This hire has a chance to be a big hit. Rangers fans supposedly not happy to lose him as it’s rumored he was Bochys potential successor.
  18. If we move Crochet, 24 hours ago I would’ve told you we’d be getting a stupid haul. I have no faith in Getz to get a substantial haul however now. I’d guess it’s more like something along lines of Rushing and Outman as the main pieces with a lotto ticket as we throw in potentially a reliever or something. I’m 100% expecting to be disappointed.
  19. Atlanta isn’t happening. Top 4 in their system are all Pitchers. Would rather move him in the winter than desperately trade him to a team with no bats.
  20. This was my thought too when I saw this. This sounds like a very underwhelming return If it goes this route. Don’t see dodgers unloading anything too exciting for Edman.
  21. I have no interest in the offensive allergic Whitesox to fix a reclamation project like Walker.
  22. laughing at idea of Sox not wanting to move Fedde to a division rival. Who gives a crap? He’s 32 and the team isn’t likely competing again until he’s 35 and washed or close to it. If a division team gives you the best package you freaking take it, at least for him!
  23. I can see Getz milking this one to the end to try to maximize the return best he can to a desperate buyer.
