  1. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 12, 2012 -> 08:23 PM) I would totally freak if they beat Max and V.
  2. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 10, 2012 -> 04:21 PM) Let me know if this is something everyone would like to pursue. This is great, I love it. Nice work!
  3. Maybe not by much, but I have to say over .210.....I'll go with .234
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 22, 2012 -> 03:40 PM) Tim "Rock" Raines approves this message. As well as Ron Washington.
  5. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Feb 16, 2012 -> 11:24 AM) The title of the thread is incredibly misleading. Yeah it is, something like "Sox players that have no remaining options left" is more accurate to the article.
  6. QUOTE (sunofgold @ Feb 14, 2012 -> 01:41 PM) I am not really excited about this possibility. Wouldn't the extra play do damage to the field? There's a reason why Roger Bossard is called "The Sodfather".
  7. k0na Doug Seyller #Whitesox 5yr 65mil new update, just came out damn, beat me too it lol
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 2, 2011 -> 07:50 AM) I can decide whether I like Jay Cowley, or Joe Mariotti better. I wonder what that hineybird has been up to lately???
  9. per rotoworld, not really anything we haven't already heard, but news nonetheless. Yonder Alonso - OF - Reds Phil Rogers of the Chicago Tribune reports that the White Sox are interested in trading for the Reds' Yonder Alonso. The problem is that Alonso would be blocked by Paul Konerko at first base and Adam Dunn at designated hitter, so the Sox, Rogers says, are trying to determine whether the 24-year-old is a legitimate option to play in the outfield. Either that, or they could ask Konerko to waive his no-trade clause and stick Alonso at first. The Reds would like to get a starter in exchange for Alonso, and Chicago is a fit in that regard with John Danks and Gavin Floyd available. Related: White Sox
  10. QUOTE (MEANS @ Nov 17, 2011 -> 11:43 AM) pretty sure the Astros move to the AL is for 2013 ok, dumb question why does 2 15 team leagues mean interleague play all the time? Is it because of odd numbers in each league? Yes it's because of the odd number of teams. In order for teams to play everyday, 1 NL and 1 AL team will have to play one another. (The 14 other NL and AL teams will be playing each other, leaving 1 AL and 1 NL playing no one)
  11. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Nov 3, 2011 -> 09:56 AM) Hypothetical: What if it had been Frank that charged the mound? Or this guy?
  12. QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 28, 2011 -> 06:44 PM) He strikes out a lot but I like Flowers. I vote for dealing AJP to a contender now and going with Flowers/Castro next year with Flowers the regular. I thought AJ had a NTC, but I could be wrong.
  13. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Aug 3, 2011 -> 03:51 PM) Ozzie Costanza Ozzie Cantstandya

  15. Rios has the suck knob cranked all the way up on full blast
  16. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 27, 2011 -> 12:10 PM) Buster_ESPN Buster Olney Source: Trever Miller is expected to be traded to the White Sox, from Toronto. Lefty reliever...cya Thornton? I wonder if this is signaling the end of Thornton, b/c i don't really see why we'd need 4 lefties out of the pen.
  17. Not so much mine, but the avatar reminds me of better days
  18. QUOTE (koz @ Jun 27, 2011 -> 11:46 PM) I believe the best possible solution to the Adam Dunn/Viciedo problem is simply switching them..Adam right now is a head case and needs to get away from the scrutiny and find himself again in AAA..This allows Viciedo to come up and hopefully continue to rake..TCQ could become DH and the Tank plays RF...Problem solvedDunn will not be sent down. A rehab stint maybe, but he wont get sent down.
  19. Where's Captain Hindsight when you need him??
  20. QUOTE (oldsox @ Mar 23, 2011 -> 01:18 PM) My glass is half empty on Dunn. He strikes out about 40% of the time and is barely hitting .200. At least he doesn't clog up the bases. We gave up a lot of money and a #1 draft pick this year. This will go down as one of Kenny's worst moves, I believe. You're aware it's still ST right???
  21. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Mar 23, 2011 -> 12:59 PM) Can you provide some kind of evidence of this? The year 1619 - Present...at least in the US
