QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Apr 23, 2006 -> 11:57 PM) LOL, yeah, in the original post he says the picture was taken at Jimbos, and in the bottom right corner there's clearly a caption which says, "www.clubitup.com" You mean jimbos isn't the ultimate nightclub experience??? -
QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 01:29 AM) ¡Tengo gusto de la empanada! lol, it was a good attempt.

QUOTE(White Sox Fan For Life @ Apr 23, 2006 -> 12:26 PM) Yeah I look at other people's avatars on soxtalk. Some create their own avatar others have avatars in the picture of their favorite sox player. I only have my picture of myself as my avatar in case someone from soxtalk recognizes at a baseball game. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Apr 21, 2006 -> 02:21 PM) How is it. I love Lindy's chili on t he southside. I drive past that place all the time and have never tried it. Over by McKinley Park? Good stuff.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 21, 2006 -> 09:36 AM) I don't know if you guys come across many of them, but downtown there are a lot of panhandlers. Do you ever give them money? Never? sometimes? always? If sometimes, how do you determine when? Almost never. I'm broke. Anyone see the same people for years? I've seen the same guy on the El for many years and used to have his speech memorized, and there's a lady who's always on State St. with her kids...

QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Apr 21, 2006 -> 01:58 AM) Just seeking to gather some opinions on it here... Do you think the slideshows look better then just stacking the photos... Do they seem to work correctly on your computers? If would could give me your opinions I would appriciate it... The slideshow definitely works for your page. Some people clutter their page with so much that it takes forever to load, but yours is just fine.

We should all put our money together...

Baseless and meaningless opinion? I am the greatest thing to happen to soxtalk.

If it's only a rough draft, you'll be fine. I'm sure your teacher will proofread and give you pointers as to what he or she wants.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 20, 2006 -> 10:34 AM) Honest person? I thought we talking about using prison labor to the jobs that ILLEGAL aliens are doing? So they're dishonest until they gain citizenship? Or do you brand them as dishonest for life because of how they arrived, specifically those who gain citizenship after arriving here illegally? They may come here illegally but the vast majority are not criminals.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 20, 2006 -> 07:18 AM) Oh.Please. These people obviously are trying to get into Mexico for a reason. There are obviously jobs that Mexicans don't want to do, and there must be somekind of stupid immigration policy that prevents people who actually want to do these jobs from getting there... or they wouldn't have central/south americans trying to sneak into their country to make a better life for themselves. lol... And what jobs are those??? You know what they say about assumptions...

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 18, 2006 -> 12:01 PM) In one of the most improbable turns I've ever seen, Patrick Beverley, who was a 2 star Toledo verbal early this winter, finishes as the #64 player in the nation and a 4 star prospect. arkansas-bound, and chose them over michigan...

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 09:06 PM) I have eaten at a Waffle House though. That sucked. Honestly, I don't know of a Dunkin Donuts in Iowa. You weren't intoxicated enough... Degrassi anyone?

QUOTE(Harry&JimmyRocked @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 02:12 AM) still a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way to go and there are some serious holes on this team that need addressing. I was thinkin' the same thing. It's the second week and we just beat up on the lowly royals. I'm very confident in this team, but there's just soo much ahead. But I will say I luv the newfound national attention. Brings a smile to my face when hearing national media discussing Buerhle's tarp-sliding and A.J.'s hair.

QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Apr 7, 2006 -> 03:19 PM) I admit I liked and watched both shows and those were two big reasons why but as far as judging the overall show (not just the eye candy) I enjoyed Wonder Years just a little bit more. I think it was the fact that it was a little more relatable to real life. Not everything got resolved in 30 minute segments and sometimes bad things happened. Even at the end they didn't wrap everything up in a happy little package where Kevin and Winnie get married and everyone lives happily ever after. Saved by the Bell of course had it's moments but I could never get over the fact that they had such a close relationship with their principal. Too much like the Archie comics... IMHO of course. Wonder Years was way better. There were also some hot girls in Madeline and the girl Cara that he met at the lake...

QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 01:31 AM) I have a hymnal right in my closet... i'll look it up now... QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 01:34 AM) Nope sorry it's not in mine... lol For some reason that made me chuckle. -

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Apr 18, 2006 -> 12:57 PM) I realize that out of context, my posts are on the verge of saying "deport them all" - to which I say, yes, that's true it's a difficult premise. I stand by it, in a way, though, because it would take the deportation of just a few to stem the tide that is currently coming in. Just a few? Well, that's how it is now. If you're caught, you're deported. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Apr 18, 2006 -> 12:57 PM) Another thing - if these people aren't counted, how do we know it's 12,000,000? That makes me laugh. Maybe it's more, which is part of what makes the idea of "catching" them all and deporting them ludicrous.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 18, 2006 -> 12:51 PM) Net and gross taxes collected would probably drop. I went through marginal tax rates earlier in the thread if you want to check up on me. Nah, I'm good. Pure speculation swayed to follow your stance at this point anyhow.
