  1. QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 12:30 AM) They would have wasted both of them on 2 undersized gaurds anyways. Anybody else concerned that pax might use the knicks pick on jete jete reddick?
  2. QUOTE(q\/\/3r+y @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 12:25 AM) There is a block sleepy. Excellent block. He had the same long arms the first 45 games...nice to see him putting them to use... I was liking the idea of a 2nd top 10 draft pick.
  3. It'll probably be his 3rd straight 30+ game...
  4. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 11:44 PM) What's up with the new avatar, man? Maybe I'll ask my wife to hold up a looseleaf sheet of paper that says "HAMMERHEAD IS A DOUCHE BAG". I'll get back to y'all on that. Very appropriate sign. I'm looking forward to that.
  5. QUOTE(q\/\/3r+y @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 11:02 PM) Songo and harrington could put up his type of numbers ( slightly less rebounds) for less money and cost zero talent to get. Drew gooden is a waste of space for this team. 14, 9, and a block last year. Not the best defense, but we have no inside presence. I just won't mind if the Bulls end up with two top ten picks, but will the talent in the draft be worth a losing season?
  6. QUOTE(q\/\/3r+y @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 10:20 PM) New york loses like usual... wo0t. The seattle/new orleans game looks like a good one. In that portland and indiana game indiana beat the s*** out of them, 101-69. Did the Vanilla Gorilla get hurt? Edit: Ok, that was a random question, but I was noticing that he only played 7 minutes, and I thought maybe somebody has the NBA package. More of a fantasy question for me.
  7. I liked Common's album.
  8. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 06:34 PM) Yes, but it only takes 1 elbow or turn of an ankle to suddenly make it so that the Spurs will be in deep trouble. I don't exactly follow that argument. The Spurs have been battling injuries to two of their top 3 guys, Duncan and Ginobili, yet they still have a very good record. Almost every team in every sport will suffer a lot when losing a key player to injury.
  9. How were those girls able to color coordinate their skin tones with their shirts, rock?
  10. I don't think that's the right link...
  11. I'll go, but who's gonna pay my $100,000 appearance fee?
  12. Wow, good stuff. Voted, and you're still up.
  13. QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 11:02 AM) Scarlett looks a bit thick to me..
  14. QUOTE(Brian @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 08:20 AM) Yet he is throwing the inbounds pass to Nocioni with .7 secs left who doesn't realize you can't pump fake with so little time. Gordon looked upset he didn't get the last shot as he was walking off the court. Well, we would already have won by 30 if Ben played any D. He's worthless. Does Skiles not remember last year at all? Why not let Ben take the last shot??
  15. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 07:29 PM) I know that we're not supposed to talk about Tyson Chandler in this thread, but I don't think we're going to have a choice here: Since Tyson was inserted into the starting lineup: Offensive Rebounds Per Minute (Last 7 Games) 1. Tyson Chandler .180 OREB/MINUTE 2. Kendrick Perkins .150 OREB/MINUTE 3. Troy Murphy .128 OREB/MINUTE 4. Drew Gooden .118 OREB/MINUTE 5. Robert Swift .113 OREB/MINUTE 6. Ben Wallace .110 OREB/MINUTE 7. Kenny Thomas .110 OREB/MINUTE 8. Shaquille O'Neal .100 OREB/MINUTE 9. Jamal Magloire .090 OREB/MINUTE 10. Dwight Howard .090 OREB/MINUTE If not for Kendrick Perkins, he'd be pretty much blowing away the competition in OREB/MINUTE. Rebounds Per Minute (Last 7 Games) 1. Tyson Chandler .400 2. Troy Murphy .376 3. Tim Duncan .330 4. Jamal Magloire .330 5. Chris Kaman .330 6. Drew Gooden .330 7. Shaquille O'Neal .324 8. Sammy Dalembert .322 9. Kendrick Perkins .312 10. Robert Swift .304 Once again, if not for one guy (Troy Murphy), Tyson would be blowing away the competition. So, how's that for a little Tyson Talk? It's not like you're cherry-picking stats or anything... Any time I see a "per minute" stat, I usually just disregard it, but you also had to throw in "over his last 7 games," which have by far been his best of the entire season. Nice choice of a sample size. Here's a tyson question to ponder: How do you go from 67% free throw shooting one season to 46% the next (and this has been after bringing it up)? And I'm not discriminating...the same question goes for Duncan...
  16. There better be a soundtrack...
  17. Random: WS shirts are 5.70 at Carsons...ALCS shirts 6 bucks...
  18. QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 05:18 PM) We are living in the computer age. Next comes the cyborg age. Then after that comes the synthetic life age. Selection isn't at work there. We are. "Come with me if you want to live."
  19. Everybody knows underage drinking is illegal, whether you agree with it or not. If you get caught, you pay the consequences. There really shouldn't be any argument about it.
  20. QUOTE(q\/\/3r+y @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 09:46 PM) Never morrison... great in college but i don't think it will translate well into the pros. Especially defensively, he is too slow footed. He sure is fun to watch right now, though. Neither really excite me at this point.
  21. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 09:26 PM) He should be starting. Instead Brown brings him off the bench. Even tonight, Mo Taylor gets the start. He averages 26 minutes and has started. nate robinson gets minutes too. I guess he plays them now that he has to 'cause he really didn't have to with more veteran teams that played more his style before.
  22. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 06:42 PM) Guess this means Q-Rich is probably on his way to Atlanta soon probably, or even Portland, with Harrington or Ratliff coming back the other way. And what's the point really of getting these 1st rounders when Brown's not even going to play them. They make the Blackhawks look like a functional organization. Frye?
  23. I still say the actual people that the symbol represents should clearly have more say than those alumni and students who have some sort of fondness towards it.
