  2. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 03:38 PM) Jenny Finch is uber overrated. Finch > kornekova
  3. Why not make a seperate thread now that you've killed what was a pretty decent one? Anyways, I better see more hot Latinas in this one...
  4. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 03:56 PM) Mine's probably Anna Paquin. Probably because she's in the X-Men movies.
  5. I played through high school...Defense, sweeper. We were bad, but had a great time... I miss being in shape.
  6. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 10:32 PM) Like I said earlier, the logic is that it forces the Sox to stay sharp. Remember how in 2000 the Sox ran out to a huge lead then were flat as could be in the second half and cruised into the playoffs and got swept cause they weren't sharp? Thats what Im afraid is happening now, the parallels are too strong to ignore. I'm more of a believer that you get into the playoffs by any means necessary, and then anything can basically happen after that. Although going in with momentum is good, right now I just wanna get in with a decent lead to relieve any pressure and to have our team as healthy as possible...
  7. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 08:48 PM) both are very good. Not that I watched the the whole first season... But yeah, they're both hot.
  8. Didn't work... Counter-clockwise felt a bit more unnatural...
  9. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 10:57 AM) tATu QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 08:23 AM) Matheiu Kassovitz from Amelie. I'll throw in Audrey Tautou as someone who I think is cute...
  10. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 10:41 AM) 2 Kings 2:23 -- God sends FORTY TWO bears to devour children that made fun of Elisha's bald head. Exodus 17:13 -- Joshua with God's approval commits a mass slaughter. Exodus 32:27-28 -- God condones yet another mass slaughter of 3,000 people. You can even look at the story of Moses where he fights with the Egyptians. God hardened Pharoah's heart just so he could throw out all 10 plagues to prove how powerful he was. Now these are just a few examples off the top of my head. I can come back with more if you'd like later but I do need to get a few things done around my apartment before I go to work today. Sure, I'll be waiting for a few more. When you can show me that Christian religions use sex, violence, and drugs as the main attraction to grab people in the same manner that certain video games and music does, I'll agree with you completely...Those stories may exist, but it is far from the message that the Church stands for. Maybe I missed the sermon where violence was glorified and the congregation was shown how violence and torture is a fun and engaging experience? Comparing religion to violent video games and music with negative messages is silly, in my opinion.
  11. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 09:36 AM) When Columbine, Jonesboro and all the other school shootings occurred we were inundated with "Well it was obviously Marilyn Manson songs and violent video games like Doom and Wolfenstein that made them commit these crimes." BTK was a major player in his local church leadership structure. Where are the people "Well, the church obviously influenced him to commit these crimes!" and trying to shut down the church like they've been trying to censor music and video games. So if he was an ice cream truck driver, do we blame the ice cream? Although I do not believe in blaming music and video games at all either, at least there are very graphic and extreme portrayals of violence, sex, drugs, etc. in them so that blaming them as an influence to such immoral acts would actually make sense. Show me the verse in the Bible that says it's moral and just to bond, torture, and kill someone...
  12. QUOTE(Texsox @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 01:59 PM) See, he really is hot I've been given new hope... Maybe I do have a chance.
  13. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 12:51 PM) Im excited. I am a sucker for the classic nintendo games, and the newer versions of the classics. the only Zelda I didnt own was Majoras Mask and thats because my roomate had it. I am too. I just meant the controller. The way they're keeping it a secret makes me a bit nervous. It better not be anything like Virtua Boy or the Power Glove...
  14. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 07:43 AM) Happy Birthday JOO BISH. If I know Nuke, he's already passed out from a night of heavy drinking and violation of several overweight, Mexican prostitutes. When he wakes up Friday, I'll be sure to bump this thread. Classy way of putting it... :headshake Anyways, happy b-day, savage.
  15. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 12:39 PM) Also, Nintendo will also be finally announcing details about its Revolutionary and innovating controller in the next week or 2. I'm interested to see what it is. It better not be ridiculous...
  16. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 12:20 PM) Free, dedicated online play. What part is gonna be free? It's already been stated that the old games are gonna cost us. I'm excited about the idea of playing a lot of those old games, and if I choose to buy a system I do believe it will be a Revolution, but I do agree that the nostalgia is going to wear out pretty fast. It'll be the great new games that Nintendo is famous for that'll be their main weapon. I just hope the graphics hold up to the other systems.
  17. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 12:25 PM) Nope. Source?
  18. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 12:20 PM) Supposedly the following Sox players were put on waivers.. and cleared. Jon Garland, Mark Buehrle, Freddy Garcia and Scott Podsednik. Here's some non Sox players that also (supposedly) cleared. Hank Blalock, Ken Griffey, Michael Young, Russ Adams, Aaron Hill, Brandon Webb, Tim Hudson, Andruw and Chipper Jones, Matt Clement, Johnny Damon, Curt Schilling, Jason Varitek, David Wells, Bobby Abreu, Chase Utley, Garret Anderson, Darin Erstad, Francisco Rodriguez, Scot Shields, Rickie Weeks, Carlos Beltran, and Pedro Martinez. Link?
  19. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 01:16 AM) Question to throw out there. Would you actually like to see the Sox lead get to about 6 games on September 15th?? While that is number would be very low, it would certainly give the Sox a kick in the ass, and maybe more motivation to pick up the pace. Im not saying I want it to be at 6 games, but would it be the worst thing in the world for this team right now? HELL NO.
  20. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 01:21 AM) The one thing that this prolonged slump we've been in could hopefully do is make KW, and especially Ozzie, realize this team is not the greatest collection of talent ever. I've never heard either say anything that even sounded as if they thought that...
  21. I saw the same team tonight (sorta) from early on, minus that timely hit to finish them off that we were getting a bit lucky with early on...
  22. QUOTE(Ozzie Montana @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 10:26 PM) They've used 3 pitchers in 11 innings. Gardy definately knows his pen. Give me 5-pitch innings and I'll know how to manage just about any pen...
