  1. QUOTE(rangercal @ May 4, 2005 -> 10:34 PM) just got back from the game............. :crying : All I can say about the Bulls is...thank goodness the Sox are winning.
  2. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 4, 2005 -> 08:59 PM) Man, Neal gets a tough rap around here. He hasn't been great, far from it but he's the last guy out of our pen, the long reliever, and his era is under 4, it can be worse then that. Could be better...
  3. QUOTE(fathom @ May 4, 2005 -> 08:12 PM) Put me on the bandwagon for DJ's homer call. Welcome.
  4. If Gordon and Tyson aren't starting next game, I won't even bother to watch.
  5. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 4, 2005 -> 01:37 PM) Sox are on CSN Plus, which for most people is CLTV. Bulls are on CSN, and the Cubs are on CSN Plus 2, which is the Total Living Network, whatever the hell that is. total living network?

  11. Ok, victor santos is due up for me against the cubbies... Hopefully he can break this fogg-glavine curse... It's like the damn 5th starter spot from last year's Sox for me...I can't get a break...
  12. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ May 4, 2005 -> 08:26 AM) She sent our picture to NBC5...so we are on the internet... Me, Helen and Southpaw Does she have a younger sister?
  13. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ May 4, 2005 -> 12:36 PM) Oh geez, if they showed all those highlights, it would literally take up half of the show. Everyone wants coverage and there is so little to go around. They talked about us breaking the record, they talked about us winning, they showed us going ahead, get over it. If you don't like it, don't watch the show. Duh. They've been good about covering us, minus a few too many negative comments, since we've been winning... Let's make the playoffs this year...and hopefully even string a few years together...and the recognition comes...
  14. Did it really look as if their was six thousand there last night? Even though kruk pulled that one out of his ass, since he obviously only saw the highlights, how bad was it really? I like how kruk couldn't name Iguchi after the countless times they showed the base-running play...
  15. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 4, 2005 -> 12:35 PM) First, what does TIFWIW mean? Get used to internet acronyms around here...
  16. QUOTE(Steff @ May 4, 2005 -> 08:10 AM) This weekend eh...?? :rolly No thanks. I'm not going to Comiskey this weekend... touche
  17. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 4, 2005 -> 02:35 AM) That and Chris Jent wanted the offense to run through him so he could get 15 shots a game instead of 8, and most of his points came from put backs etc. Who cares, he's easily going to be the best player in the long run. Some of the other high-schoolers have shown potential too...
  18. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 3, 2005 -> 08:27 PM) You lose Grant Hill, Hedo Turkoglu, Doug Christie from your lineup, and Steve Francis for a few games and yes you will struggle. That's because the Magic aren't at all deep, unlike the Bulls. Might that be why his numbers improved too?
  19. Beyond Tonight It was 42 degrees with 18-mile-per hour winds at game time in Chicago on Tuesday night and 12,362 fans paid for tickets to see the White Sox make a little history, setting a modern major league record by leading in their 26th straight game to start the season. John Kruk, who played a season in the Windy City, was disappointed. He "brought the heat" (no pun intended) on White Sox fans, criticizing them for not showing up to see the team with the best record in the American League. "They couldn't wait to get me out of there," Kruk said with a laugh on Tuesday night's show. "Even if you got there late, you could have gotten a really good seat. There were maybe four to six thousand (people) there. It's a Tuesday night. You should still be there to support a first-place team. Show up! Give them something they need -- the help and support to win the division." The next "Baseball Tonight" telecasts: May 4 at 10 p.m. ET and May 5 at 12:20 a.m. ET with Karl Ravech, Peter Gammons, Harold Reynolds and John Kruk.
  20. QUOTE(rangercal @ May 4, 2005 -> 12:03 AM) what are you talking about ?
  21. QUOTE(rangercal @ May 3, 2005 -> 11:53 PM) I agree . Everyone needs to stop getting offended about attendence threads. Its the f***ing truth! We need to support our 1st place team. 12,000 is f***ing pathetic. If you're going to make excuses about why you can't go, then don't get mad when Frank , paulie and garland are in different unis in the near future.
