I'm perfectly fine with hinrich and his defense as long as he does not take a shot all season. -

Can't believe I watched most of a summer league game. And hinrich is absolutely atrocious -
QUOTE (zenryan @ Jul 13, 2014 -> 09:09 PM) name a team that didnt have one sluggish match? For 7 matches, they were the most consistent. Mexico

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 13, 2014 -> 05:39 PM) It takes some skill to go 300 minutes without scoring a goal yet ending up so close to winning it all. Agreed that the best team throughout won. They were awful against algeria

QUOTE (The Ultimate Champion @ Jul 11, 2014 -> 07:44 PM) Ha ha, what a horrible name for a promotion. Brooks Boyer can hammer a 12" railroad tie spike straight into asphalt without a pilot hole simply by using his own forehead. Why don't you call it like "Arctic April/April in Alaska" etc. something like that and offer Sox winter gloves to the first X fans, or have Southpaw dress like Santa or something, if you want to mock the s***ty weather and try to turn it around into a reason to attend. You can spend 10 mins and can probably come up with a laundry list of better ideas than that. LOL Sox have probably been working on this for months. Wow, I actually like arctic April, along with the mittens idea. Certainly a billion times better than what they come up with. That s*** sounds horrible.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 1, 2014 -> 05:00 PM) Knew that was going to happen. Yeah that tends to be the case when a team gets outshot a million to one

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 13, 2014 -> 04:55 PM) If you lose, you lose. LeBron shouldn't be getting knocked down a peg for losing in finals yet others get a pass for losing in conference finals. That's just silly. There's only one comparison being made obviously. Jordan elevated his game on the biggest stage. His Finals MVPs are used as evidence of that. LeBron just hasn't. Simple as that. Can't have it both ways. Fair or unfair, that's who he is compared to. And so far, he's been coming up kinda short. I also find it laughable that now the claims are that the Spurs are just the more talented team when that was NEVER really said before. They're just very clearly getting outplayed. -
QUOTE (zenryan @ Jun 13, 2014 -> 01:31 PM) I can only guess that the linesman thought it deflected off of a Mexican player. The only way Ochoa doesnt make that save at the end is if his foot slips out from underneath him. Wasnt much power behind that header. Croatian goalie disagrees

QUOTE (Boogua @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 10:59 PM) Exactly, not to mention he had 7 turnovers. The efficiency looks good, but everybody could see he was pretty awful in that game, especially in the second half. I think he was just 3-5 with 5 turnovers in the second half. Jordanesque -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jun 5, 2014 -> 11:33 PM) Lol, I swear people have never been around someone trying to play when their muscles are cramping. If the cramps are bad it really can't be done. I'm talking about the rest of the team too. They absolutely gave up and just folded as soon as was out in a still close game. My comments about LeBron are that I don't buy his cramping as an excuse because 1. Every single player on court was playing in the same conditions and 2. They shouldn't have just given up as soon as he has to sit out when the game is that close at that point in the game. -

Yeah totally unfair...not like both teams are playing in the exact same conditions or anythin... Duncan is 48 practically playing the whole game and Parker is playing on a bad wheel in the exact same conditions. LeBron is the most physically fit human being on earth. I found it hilarious that he was left paralyzed and had to be taken into the locker room for a thigh transplant as the heat absolutely folded at the slightest hint of adversity lol Way to tough it out and leave it all out on the court in the championship... -

QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ May 1, 2014 -> 09:07 PM) I'd also argue that Yao, Oden and Wiggins had relatively similar levels of hype (the last two before they got to college). That's a subjective thing obviously though. Edit- If we're going back 30 years, I'd also include guys like Sampson, Ewing, MJ, Olajuwon, Shaq, probably Duncan. I wasn't really following the draft at the time though, and if media attention is your biggest factor the newer guys have an edge. lmao
