QUOTE (fathom @ May 4, 2013 -> 08:49 PM) Butler's composure is such a great attribute with someone like Nate on the court. Thibs doesn't get enough credit for player development. The way he maximizes potential is amazing.

QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ May 4, 2013 -> 08:38 PM) WALLACE BACK TO BACK 3s FML The blatant disrespect shown by putting Nate on him could only work for so long lol

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 3, 2013 -> 12:34 AM) So, Derrick has basically just cemented his legacy unless he wins a ring next year. . . .

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 30, 2013 -> 09:00 AM) They are major league players. They all want to win. The thought that they don't is absolutely ludicrous. I mean, technically, so is the thought that pro players give it their all at all times... I don't see the point in getting all riled up over some silly Hawk slogan. He's meant to be entertainment. What's more ludicrous is to believe that his silly ideas are gonna sway how the org is run.

I don't agree with kerr at all. 1. NO, he does NOT "owe" his teammates anything. 2. Comparing his injury with incredibly less severe ones is beyond ridiculous. Bulls management is doing what's best for the organization, especially long-term. And not necessarily over any sort of affection towards Rose. I see it as a joint decision, as it should be. The backlash has been silly. And speaking of kerr, I'm thankful for his contributions to the Bulls those few championship years as I'm sure he is too since he probably doesn't get some of the opportunities he's gotten without that exposure. But he was a horrible GM and is a crappy announcer.

I went Saturday. Tix were cheap, and it wasn't cold albeit very windy. Woulda gone Sunday but had some stuff to do. It was just nice to finally go to the ballpark with some friends, have some beers, talk 50 baseball/50 BS, and enjoy a nice Sox win over king felix. And I will definitely be going to a lot more Sunday games. It's fun, reasonably priced, 2 train stops from where I'm staying, and I get to watch the team I'm passionate about. Might as well go...

QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Nov 7, 2012 -> 01:17 AM) The GOP are not anti-Latino. I can only assume he is talking about immigration. The message has been pro legal immigration. I was born in Ireland and immigrated here through the same legal immigration process that others have used no matter of race, religion, or country of origin. As an immigrant I support immigration. Sure would I have loved to have my entire family over here, absolutely. But it didn't work out. Their situation is just as poor and dire as any poor country. Just as my families was. So are you agreeing that the current immigration process is s***ty or not?

Actually it would not surprise me if our merch sells just as well...any way to find out?

I love the pure Android experience and am intrigued by the leaked supposed specs so far. Looks good so far too. I just HATE if it'll be non removable battery. Might be a deal breaker for me. Inductive charging is nice and all, but I had it on my Palm pre years ago and would rather have removable battery. Now I'm gonna have to hold out hope that other companies build a Nexus too...with a removable battery along with nice specs.

Worst collapse in franchise history?
SleepyWhiteSox replied to Buehrle>Wood's topic in Pale Hose Talk
So much negativity... They made the majority of this season rather enjoyable in one of the few times that they actually exceeded most expectations. Therefore, this was the BEST collapse in franchise history -
C'mon now, advertising new headphones as some sort of amazing new phone feature is WAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more gimmicky than NFC...

As for Jabari...well...I guess it's better to kill that tiny little glimmer of hope now rather than later...whether I thought we were ahead of byu and stanford or not, I didn't think he'd come here anyways... purnell has been doing a bad job...now the only glimmer of any sort of positiveness for the program is a new stadium in the city I guess :/ -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 5, 2012 -> 02:41 PM) Why is it a reach? The guy has job hopped his way through his career usually right in front of a scandal. Why should it be any different at UK? Because there's nowhere else to go...he's already at the top. And he's clearly still motivated as seen by his recruiting. In terms of scandal, like has been said already, he's already built something that attracts top talent anyways. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 5, 2012 -> 12:34 PM) It wont last forever. Quite the reach there. In the meantime, and for the foreseeable future, he's dominating.
