  1. QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 04:35 PM) Why? What did he do? Blew the save, apparently...
  2. QUOTE (Texsox @ Apr 28, 2008 -> 11:09 AM) No animal is crueler than humans. Relatively speaking, the worst animals are more humane then humans. C'mon now...some animals eat their own young...
  3. I liked Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, and I'm not afraid to admit it. Joe Dirt wasn't bad either...
  4. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 25, 2008 -> 03:18 PM) I can't believe that no one likes Coming To America or Dodgeball. I liked Coming to America. The whole bootleg McDonalds thing makes me chuckle... Anyways, if you still got my list, can you pm it to me when you get the chance? Also, maybe someone can list the top 50 all together. I'm kinda lazy.
  5. QUOTE (Felix @ Apr 25, 2008 -> 10:43 AM) He's an idiot. He had a great visit. Luved the city and the team. And he wants to play in an elite conference... His dad was nice enough to post on a DePaul board.
  6. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Apr 24, 2008 -> 07:37 PM) Cuckoo's Nest is a top 10 all-time film for me, and it does have its comedic moments. Top 5 for me... And I had a crush on Nurse Pilbow for some reason.
  7. Turn your sarcasm-detectors on, fellas. I was just remembering a little discussion at the beginning of this thread/the season...
  8. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Apr 23, 2008 -> 10:19 AM) I've only seen it on MST3K, but "Manos, the Hands of Fate" is God awful I put MST3K: The Movie on my top 10...
  9. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Apr 23, 2008 -> 10:54 AM) Chris Paul is just incredible. He's no deron williams...
  10. Clerks was in my top 10 for sure...top 5 if I recall correctly (probably not). I saw Mallrats first and liked it. Then I had to see Clerks and absolutely luved it. All of his other movies have been pretty crappy...
  11. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 21, 2008 -> 10:53 PM) Is Dr Strangelove seriously the "funniest" movie you've ever seen or is it just the best movie you've ever seen that's categorized as a comedy? My list of greatest comedies would probably be different from funniest movies. And I only got through about an hour of Dr. Strangelove. I think what turned me off is that it definitely did not live up to the hype at all, so I changed the channel. Offered far fewer laughs than I expected from a great comedy. But I definitely want to finish seeing it when I get the chance.
  12. Let's keep this kind of crap for that other board...
  13. Forrest Gump as one of the funniest movies...interesting... I hope I don't see Fargo as a "dark comedy" on the list. Both are amazingly great movies, but neither are in my top 50 of make-me-laugh funny movies, as I prefer more pure comedies. And the first half or so of Superbad was funnier than all of Knocked Up, which dragged.
  14. I luv Kingpin...can't remember if I forgot to put it on my list...
  15. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 19, 2008 -> 11:33 AM) My church has problems, and the priests who poke kids should be excommunicated and locked with with the key thrown away, but I am sick and tired of having my religion raked over the coals and brought in as a side cart comedy act when another church is brought up.
  16. QUOTE (mreye @ Apr 21, 2008 -> 01:54 PM) Our kids' parties are in the heated garage or in the yard. We get a cake at the supermarket and favors and goodie bags at the dollar store. I'll bet we spend less than $150 for everything and that includes a 12 pack of beer for me to be able to put up with a bunch of screaming girls! This is exactly how birthday parties at my house have always been too. Well, except maybe a couple more cases of beer.
  17. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 18, 2008 -> 12:03 PM) I have it on good authority that Krys Faber signed with DePaul today. He's a late blooming but very talented center from Los Angeles. Congrats to the Demons fans, he's a great get for the spring signing period and had interest from a ton of big time schools. Yeah, we heard from Krys and his dad last night... minny was his leader but he really liked his visit here.
  18. It's been a nice start so far and the team has been enjoyable to watch...just found it interesting that the negative thread was longer...
  19. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 15, 2008 -> 08:20 PM) I've never been a big fan of the grays, but I love the white pinstripes. I don't disagree, but pinstriped baseball jerseys aren't exactly unique. Personally, I luv the black jerseys and think they're badass. It's nice to see the team wear them often.
  20. The suspense is killing me.
