  2. QUOTE(gbuk @ Jan 28, 2008 -> 08:53 PM) Ashley Judd is so overrated. Take that back.
  3. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 24, 2008 -> 05:44 AM) Hmm; fire pax

  5. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jan 25, 2008 -> 11:45 AM) If you ever thought that the music to Mario Brothers was missing drums, then enjoy: http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1797930 Good stuff. And I still rule in World Series Baseball, Dreamcast or XBox.
  6. QUOTE(JuiceCruz16 @ Jan 25, 2008 -> 12:49 PM) The new strength of schedule numbers came out today. The teams of intrest in the last few discussions that are highly ranked are as follows. North Carolina #10 toughest schedule (19-1) UCLA #16 toughest schedule (16-2) Kansas #41 toughest schedule (18-0) Memphis #54 toughest schedule (18-0) and a surprise to me - Indiana #152 toughest schedule (17-1) Tennesee at (15-2 )has the #3 toughest schedule to date. and for the So. Illinois fans you might be (9-10), but it has been against quality #6 toughest to date. Illinois #21 toughest at (9-11) Link? We're not good, but I would imagine DePaul has a top-20 SOS.
  7. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 12:45 PM) Im sorry I dont really think its out of line for a roast. The crowd at the roast booing her off the stage tells you how out of line it is. I see no forum where uttering such stupid and ignorant comments is very acceptable.
  8. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 18, 2008 -> 03:05 PM) This is barely even news. Blasphemy. SHINGO news is always a big deal.
  9. TMO RULZ and TIMO ROX are both available...
  10. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 17, 2008 -> 04:52 PM) But how do you know that's not because everyone's asking the farm from him? Last year would you have done Deng, Gordon, and PJ for Gasol? Would you do Deng, Wallace, and Gordon for T-Mac? Teams aren't just going to give us players so that we can get better. If we have a lot of young guys, they're going to ask for a lot of young guys from us no matter what other teams are offering. People get pissed at Pax for not making any moves because they assume some cheap and easy deal that would be hugely lopsided for the Bulls is just sitting out there. Thing is, I do admit that I, nor the vast majority of fans, can really know that for sure, which is why I said it seems he's been timid to me. We can't know for sure what trades teams have discussed other than what gets reported. I just don't feel he's brave enough to make a risky move that could really help the team, and I base that on the largely safe moves he has made. What this season is proving to me, at least, is that "the farm" is not nor will it ever be good enough to win a championship, and I've felt that way since before the season started. So let me ask you this: Do you believe pax has explored and truly attempted the type of trade this team needs in order to get a true impact player, or do you feel, as I do, that he has been reluctant and hesitant to trade the young, safe guys he's drafted and feels could have grown into championship contenders? I just hope he truly did go after guys like Kobe and KG and was willing to break up his little, young nucleus for an impact guy this team has obviously been desperate for for quite some years. I hope he's been creative in finding ways to trade his young guys for better, veteran players. But my gut feeling, based on what he has said and done, tells me he has not gone after it as he should. When Kobe was telling his fans to get their Bulls jersey ready, I hope Pax really went for it and was willing to trade the guys he has drafted and have proven to underachieve, back when they had more value than they do now... Bottom line: this is pax's team, and right now, they're pretty bad. I haven't agreed with some of his moves, and some have come back to bite him...Here's hoping he can make the proper moves to move this team ahead. If he doesn't have the vision, hopefully the organization can put someone in place who can because they've really made someone like me, a self-proclaimed longtime fan who had stuck through the crappy post-Jordan years, seriously lose interest in this team.
  11. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 16, 2008 -> 11:26 AM) In case you didn't catch it, that post is me mocking the people who think that Pax is too timid to make a deal for a big star, because right now no team out there is stupid enough to trade the Bulls a big star for any of the guys they have the way they're playing. He seems, and has seemed, too timid to make any moves...
  12. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 10, 2008 -> 04:51 PM) I think everyone is regretting not choosing Andrew Bynum in that draft from a couple of seasons ago also. I doubt the Hornets would.
  13. QUOTE(max power @ Jan 8, 2008 -> 01:09 PM) I've never had a meat I didn't like. aiyooo..

  15. The Foot Locker on State Street has the sweatshirt version of the lee sport official grey championship shirts in XL for 2.99.
  16. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Dec 14, 2007 -> 10:15 PM) They obviously don't see Okafor as a C long - term. Probably because he rejected the extension...
  17. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Dec 12, 2007 -> 12:34 PM) He really seems to fit as the next Iverson or Marbury, a guy that puts up great numbers that doesn't really get you anywhere because he doesn't make the rest of the team any better and is disinterested on defense. Hmm...debatable...
  18. There was lots of good teams at that event. I only went to see De La Salle on Saturday. Chicago state has a nice little arena. DePaul would be very wise in putting together something similar to that tournament on campus, along with seriously recruiting some of those young guys like Mike Shaw and Blackshear...but the little school under the tracks isn't all that wise...
