  1. More money and years for a player like him, and one with foot problems, than I would have wanted...eh, whatever... If the right trade is made, I applaud it. If not, I'm just not feeling this team completely, still.
  2. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 5, 2007 -> 11:41 AM) Too bad such a player doesn't exist. Erstad and Podsednik at perpetually injured and pretty much useless at this point in their careers. At least Anderson has some upside/potential unlike either of Erstad or Owens. Out of all those options, I'd have to go with death...
  3. I finally beat Twilight Princess...
  4. QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 3, 2007 -> 10:09 AM) The heart wants what the heart wants. That isn't always the intention when a boss and employee are having sex...
  5. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 28, 2007 -> 01:36 PM) You can't get rid of racism by way of racism. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Jun 28, 2007 -> 01:41 PM) Racial quotas are raced-based discrimination, any way you cut it. I think it's much more complicated than that...
  6. I was very glad to see both Wilson Chandler (23rd) and Sammy Mejia (57th) drafted.
  7. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 04:44 PM) For the record, I think Suggs, Shumpert, and Dunigan, and probably some sort of wild card depending upon Jamar Smith, C.J., and whatever else goes on, will be the class. If so, that would be a great, ranked class. Is that more or less what's expected? How is illinois doing with those guys so far? I've heard purdue, georgetown and other are after dunigan, acc schools ga. tech and clemson after shumpert, etc...
  8. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 04:18 PM) Dont you have to support your team through good times and bad?? When players and the team quit going out and playing their absolute, very best, I quit giving them my full support. Still a Sox fan always and forever, but I have zero guilt nor do I feel like any less of a fan for going to way less games, turning the TV off or flipping the channel early, or sometimes not even watching a game even if I have the time. The nice thing about being sports fan, for me, is that I can thoroughly enjoy the good times, but I can also turn the TV off and set my mind on other things during absolutely garbage times like this so that they're not completely ruining my days. I'm still following them, just not as closely. It's not fun to watch them anymore so I reserve the right to not watch as many games as I can and follow them daily like the past few seasons.
  9. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 03:15 PM) God this offense is rotten. I thought you'd be watching usa-mexico? Same as the Sox seem to have given up, I've definitely cut back on watching their crappy play.
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 03:06 PM) All I'm saying is that if he has such a tough time managing this personnel, then maybe he's not the right person for this team. Out of curiosity, who wouldn't have trouble managing this personnel?
  11. LOL @ a career diversity fair being racist
  12. ryan boatwright, an 8th-grader from Illinois, verbals to floyd and usc. http://msn.foxsports.com/cbk/story/6938958?MSNHPHMA DePaul was supposedly starting to show a bit of interest; indiana apparently was too. I wonder how many times he changes his mind...
  13. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 18, 2007 -> 04:39 PM) I'd like to see some of the little 21 year olds on this board
  14. Good site to see pitchers' hitting stats?
  15. The hallmark mc hammer commercial made me chuckle...
