What are some of the worst 2016 movies that you saw this past year?

QUOTE (shipps @ Jan 5, 2017 -> 04:14 PM) No one found Chris Hemsworth's stupidity kind of funny in Ghostbusters? I thought it was actually, a little bit. It was a fine airplane movie for me, nothing more. -

QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 4, 2017 -> 09:48 PM) Mizzou basketball program is so dead. Amazing how fast it can happen. Yep. My team is dead in the water. -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 5, 2017 -> 09:52 AM) I'll believe it when I see it. Their #1 priority for years is that health care should be a privilege of the wealthy. So far they have done everything they needed to make it clear they will make that their goal. It doesn't even have to be on purpose - companies have taken losses in the insurance exchanges because of the hope that once the premiums balanced starting in about 2018 they'd be able to recoup them with the people they'd brought on board. If the exchanges are going to end in 2019, then there's no reason to stay on the exchange in 2018. Well we know nothing will happen at least until end of the midterms, so if something WILL happen it wont be till 2019. So far: Drain the swamp - nope Less influence by wall street- nope Repeal Obamacare immediately - nope

The Lobster. f***ing terrible. -
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 4, 2017 -> 10:50 PM) Who knows what the future will hold, but at least Trump stood against the ethic's committee thing. Obamacare looks like it wont even be looked at until 2019 so its anyone's guess what he will do and wont do compared to his promises.

All this arguing back and forth about which side did what. At the end of the day, politicians are s***heads that are only out for their own interest or the internet of their organization. They were created to be representatives of the people and that has evolved into something so far from that I dont even know what to call it.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 4, 2017 -> 06:13 PM) How many is "most of them"? I still think you are a bit off on just how far away they are. They just need to get this thing rolling downhill a bit. They are getting there... Just look at the Cowboys. A majority would be good. They are pretty far away on offense, and somewhat closer on defense.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 4, 2017 -> 12:58 PM) I also think they need to use their free agent money wisely and they probably need to spend a good chunk of it on secondary pieces (as well as using a pretty high pick on the secondary). The most critical decision will relate to the QB position, which is such a freaking crapshoot. I disagree on having to hit on most of them, they need to have a few big wins though, that is for sure, and I do think they are best served by trading down a bit. To me they should acquire a QB outside of the draft. Using a high pick on this QB class looks to be pretty darn stupid. I think they will plug that hole while improving the rest of the team.

They need to collect as many picks as possible in this draft and have to hit on most of them. If that doesnt happen then next offseason will be much much worse for them.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 4, 2017 -> 07:43 AM) There's definitely been more criticism in the national media than I expected, so Urban's gonna have to do some explaining or tell some funny jokes at the next press conference. But all will be forgotten when they put up a 70 spot vs Indiana. Wilson and Randy Walker are the ones who taught Urban the spread offense back in the day and they are all also close with Stoops who he worked for as well. I think their personal friendship and his history was enough to not care about what happened there. I bet he never addresses it other than saying they've been friends a long time. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 3, 2017 -> 01:20 PM) Urban should get criticized like crazy for that hiring, but he won't because winning is all that matters. Spot on. I think most echoed my post when he was canned that he would be welcome as a coordinator. It's being considered a home run hire. -

QUOTE (Con te Giolito @ Jan 3, 2017 -> 12:37 PM) That isn't really a good answer to that question. It's a great answer to a s***ty question. Once again compare the resume, listen to what the committee said and then you will he actually informed. -

QUOTE (Con te Giolito @ Jan 3, 2017 -> 11:55 AM) So if OSU had one more loss but owned the H2H and won the B1G you wouldn't be complaining the other way? Find me better wins and better losses than OSU had in PSU's resume and then it matters, until then you may want to take a look at who PSU actually competed with for the #4 slot. -

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jan 3, 2017 -> 11:40 AM) Penn State had 2 losses. Ohio State had 1. This is easy to figure out. And if Penn State, why not Michigan? Michigan was probably better team than both frankly. If Michigan didnt lose that game to Iowa and still lost to OSU that may have kept Washington out. -

QUOTE (Con te Giolito @ Jan 3, 2017 -> 11:28 AM) Nothing here really refutes the point that if OSU were in PSU position they would've gotten in. All the excuse making in the world doesn't overcome the H2H loss. OSU fans will talk your ear off about how PSU won that game on a fluke, but I've yet to hear a convincing big picture argument that H2H is pointless. Or that conference championships are pointless. Or at least that a H2H victory and conference championship can be cancelled out by a stupid loss three months prior. They wouldnt have gotten in over Washington. Washington had and a better resume. Vs OSU's resume, its wasnt that close. OSU has Less losses and better wins. H2H and conference titles are tie breakers when its all equal. PSU doesnt have better wins than @wisconson @ oklahoma and vs Michigan. Period. They also have an additional loss. H2H doesnt matter with those things considered. You could have learned all of that by watching the selection show or reading their criteria. -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 3, 2017 -> 11:31 AM) So all of that is true, but Penn State couldn't have done better? That doesn't really make sense. Probably any team could have done better that night based on how they played. But no team was more deserving of that spot. -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 3, 2017 -> 11:15 AM) Not showing up for the college playoff is kind of a big deal. Not showing up for any important game is a big deal. The gameplan was s*** and its already cost one coach his job with another to follow. Same coaches had a brain fart that kept OSU out of the playoff last year when they were probably a team that could have done well. Still says nothing about them belonging as their resume already proved they did. -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 3, 2017 -> 10:48 AM) After watching OSU get slapped around like a red-headed step child, it is hard to picture PSU doing worse. Yeah they played a s*** game where everything went wrong. They play again and they probably don't do worse. Not sure what that proves though other than teams sometimes don't show up. -

QUOTE (Con te Giolito @ Jan 3, 2017 -> 10:34 AM) USC is better than their ranking, hell USC is better than Washington. But as already mentioned the three losses were too much to overcome, even if one of those losses was to Alabama. Penn State didn't lose to a turkey. If the roles were reversed and PSU went 11-1 with the loss being against OSU which meant a 10-2 OSU team won the B1G there wouldn't even be a debate. OSU would be in the playoff and nobody would really be whining about OSU's hypothetical early season loss to Pitt (just like nobody whined about OSU's early season loss to VA Tech). In any case I'm fairly confident PSU would've been more than just a speed bump for Clemson. Nope. The better resume would make the playoff every time as the number 3 seed and maybe the debate of Washington vs PSU should have had more legs. Either way a two loss team isnt making the playoff unless they have a ridiculous resume. And FYI: everyone b****ed about the loss to VT. Some still do. Not sure what planet you were on while that went down. Your confidence doesn't mean much. Teams play bad games sometimes and sometimes teams win miracle upsets and people hold onto that as proof they are a better team. Psu couldn't manage 250 yards vs OSU and needed to return a fg for a TD and an 8-1 penalty margin to win but somehow they'd be more competitive against the second ranked team in the country? Uh huh.
