  1. Yeah, stuff like this is how people end up getting shot.
  2. QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Oct 26, 2016 -> 07:55 AM) Thanks for the replies Y2Hh, StrangeSox, Rock & S2k5. You confirmed what I was thinking. I just looked, and I have 4 to get rid of. Check your village website to see if they are doing recycling. We do it about every month and I have dropped off all sorts of s***.
  3. Old people are cranky as f***. He probably sees that as his area and wants to show his claim on it.
  4. Kluber is really the only starting pitcher for Cleveland that can do what he did last night. The rest of the rotation is meh right now. Gonna be a bullpen battle for two games and the Cubs have the advantage with how their lineup works pitchers. Still think cubs in five.
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 25, 2016 -> 10:14 AM) There is zero comfort with each other, especially on the mixed lines. Breakouts are horrendous.
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 25, 2016 -> 03:04 PM) I have always found it interesting that supposedly millions upon millions of dead people vote, and none of them vote for republicans. Its been debunked so many times, yet it continually gets brought up.
  7. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 25, 2016 -> 12:51 PM) They deliver beer? In Oxford they sure did and anything else you can get at a liquor store (usually cigs). We also had several drive throughs. Our beer delivery place was 444-Beer
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 25, 2016 -> 12:21 PM) I have friends and family, including my wife, that I'd like to see experience it too. But there is just something holding back that doesn't allow me to root for them and get excited when good things happen. I enjoy the baseball and watch neutrally, but something just keeps me from turning that corner. I wonder what that is, ha. I'm the same, my in laws, father and wife are all huge Cubs fans, especially my in laws. I am not openly rooting for them, but I do want them to win.
  9. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 25, 2016 -> 10:28 AM) I agree with you. Just i don't care for the people who bought jerseys two weeks ago and just joined the party. Yeah but we had those too, and the Hawks have a s***load of them. Bad fans suck for everyone, the Cubs just happen to have a HUGE amount of them because of WGN and their stadium.
  10. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 25, 2016 -> 09:07 AM) I ran into the guy who owns the building where i work this morning in the parking lot. He said go cubs! I said i am a Sox fan. He says, i can tell by that tone in your voice that you're a bitter Sox fan. I said my tone comes from bandwagon cubs fans that drive me up a wall 24/7 on the news, in person, and on the radio. yeah but those of us who grew up in Chicago have family members and loved ones that have been long suffering true Cubs fans. I dont want to see them heartbroken.
  11. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 25, 2016 -> 09:45 AM) Never understood how people ate sushi. Gag reflexes. Oh man, I get crazy cravings for sushi but its certainly an acquired taste. If you arent a seafood lover than its a tough sell. I didnt really start liking it until my mid 20's (and thats actually when I started liking coffee) but now we get it at least once a week.
  12. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 25, 2016 -> 09:23 AM) This is what we do. There was some initial talk when we switched to gmail of "google for everything!" but then both engineering and accounting threatened massive revolt if they took away years worth of excel macros. Yep, we had the same thought as well as replacing webex with gchat and hangouts etc and there was a revolt.
  13. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 22, 2016 -> 05:57 PM) Ettiquette question: I ordered sushi tonite and picked it up, and I did not tip when I picked up. The hostess gave me serious attitude about it, and it definitely left an impression. Should I have tipped? When I used to deliver pizza, people would pick up pizzas and I would cash them out, and I never got nor expected a tip. Is it different with picking up sushi? I'm generally a good tipper, I just learned that this was not a tip situation, at least with pizza I tip 10-15% for pickup depending on the restaurant and the service. I know some of that goes to the cooks and they deserve it. For sushi I go on the higher side since the food is f***ing beautiful. part of my reasoning is from working in the service industry and just paying back my dues.
  14. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Oct 24, 2016 -> 04:30 PM) We're looking at Azure right now, going through a POC with them currently. It's straight garbage, if I was in charge of this project I would have run far away by now. Hopefully we look at AWS before purchasing anything. We are going fullsteam ahead with O365 though it seems. The department that wants that drinks the Microsoft koolaid hard. Azure AD is ok, and Microsoft was smart enough to start rolling off ADFS in favor of our stuff for AuthN and Authorization so that customer actually can be supported. The issue with moving to Azure AD is the microsoft people themselves. They are clueless. I have large fortune 100 clients that are consistently left without service for long periods of time and they are literally no help whatsoever.
  15. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Oct 24, 2016 -> 02:05 PM) Unfortunately we're stuck in the Microsoft Office world. No way I can get the partners to try something new. You can still use office on each device like we do, but also use google for everything else. You can share word docs on google as well. O365 just kind blows.
  16. The video from 2008 with Trump talking for 3 minutes about how great Hillary is was fantastic.
  17. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 24, 2016 -> 11:13 PM) There were some solid Bronx cheers when they did kill the penalties. They gave up two goals on the PK yet still improved their percentage on the season. Great game from Crawford tonight You can tell the team is out of whack a bit, and I think alot of it is the new blood and lines. They just have a tough time getting into their groove anywhere on the ice.
  18. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Oct 24, 2016 -> 05:12 PM) Nice. Over the ps3, the ps4 will kick major ass. Im pretty stoked to get my PS4 as well.
  19. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Oct 24, 2016 -> 09:49 AM) I know there are some IT people here. Anyone use Office 365 at work? We're a small firm (5 attorneys + staff), so 10-12 users. We have a private server set up and have been using it for a number of years. It just crapped out last week, rendering us with no access to our files and email for like 4 days until our cheap, family-member IT person got around to fixing it. I did some digging online and people seem to like O365 as their cloud-based system. We need email, Office products, some kind of file/document storage system, and that's about it. Seems like O365 would be a good solution, especially with the 24/7/365 tech support. Anyone with thoughts/experiences? Also, would we need to get OneDrive too for the file storage? Or does O365 come with something like that? Its the worst built cloud platform in the world. BUT, everyone uses it. You may want to look at Google for work first.
  20. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 08:36 AM) Bring them to a legit electronics recycling center rather than just tossing them, there's hazardous materials that break down Right. Usually Best Buy will take em. Your town may have it anyway
  21. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 22, 2016 -> 10:45 PM) Refs missed big PI so OSU loses. Wellness check for Rock. lol I'm good. I predicted 2-3 losses so one of the games on the road where the opposition is coming off a bye was going to be a loss. Brutal officiating but even worse special teams. It was bound to happen to the youngest team in the country.
  22. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 01:08 PM) Yeah but sonos is then $$$$ more money A s***load but it does rule. Man this DNS outage is killing everyone today. Everybody is down
  23. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 10:44 AM) Also Michael Clayton has been on HBO again so Yeah, I sat down and watched it. Forgot how great that movie is.
  24. During Obama's term, technology has taken gigantic leaps which has caused a media explosion. In July 2008 we were just given the Iphone 3g, or the second iphone version. Twitter had just started and was just a blip compared to what it is today. We've never had the ability to follow candidates like this before.
