  1. QUOTE (raBBit @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 02:14 PM) I really don't get all of this stuff on the sexual habits and Trump's talk. It's pretty well documented that HRC and Bill Clinton have some sort of arraignment where they f*** other people. Or at least they did when they were physically able. Obviously Bill does whatever he wants and there's a less reputable chain on HRC. Who cares as long as they're consenting adults... And as far as Trump's comments, it's not like he was serious when he was saying he'd grab them by the p****. Girls like Trump for his incredible wealth. It's not rocket science. He's cocky and insensitive but he's just saying, he can do whatever he wants because the women want to be with him (because of his money). Calling him rapist is for his comments to Billy Bush is like calling HRC a murderer for her emails on droning Assange. I have a lifelong friend who is incredibly smart, has the gift of the gab and is a great guy to hang around with. The guy works out all the time and has gotten multiple modeling offers when he's never even pursued getting them. Anytime we would go anywhere when he was single he would just come up to me and point at the girl he wanted and say, "I am going to f*** that girl tonight." Most times he would. I didn't look down on him for it. The girls were all consenting and happy to be with him. If there's no victim why do we care? Why did you quote my post and then make a statement thats totally irrelevant? Trump didn't say he would cheat, he did, many times. He had a kid out of wedlock with his mistress. Not sure what that has to do with your reply on his locker room talk.
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 01:23 PM) The difference is that they have become a substitute for actual intelligent information. We are flooded with information now, much of which is false. However back in the "old days" there was very little information and much of it was false. Pick your poison.
  3. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 10:23 PM) I have a friend who works for a dealership and he says they HATE when Costco members come in because they often end up making nothing or losing money on cars, and whatever price Costco says HAS to be honored or they breach contract and get in trouble. Im gonna check this out today.
  4. QUOTE (Ezio Auditore @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 12:48 PM) You don't know what it's like being a black person reading comments from Trump supporters, do you? Like you have no idea. It's actually terrifying. They are on CNN blaming rap music for the downfall of "American Values." no joke.
  5. Sorry for your loss dude, Its the worst.
  6. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 11, 2016 -> 11:16 AM) Is there any way to "schedule" a light to turn on and off at certain times? It'd be nice to have the upstairs hallway light kick on in the morning because the switch is on the other side of the hallway from the bedroom and we trip over cats every day. I use Wemo to schedule my lights
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 09:19 AM) I feel like we have been hearing that for a while now, yet very few guys have actually stepped up. Or when they do the Hawks are forced to trade them for cap reasons. I dont know, I think many of them have stepped up. Schmaltz and Motte are going to be very good IMO.
  8. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 10:57 AM) I don't think this is totally accurate. Trump benefited from a lot of split votes. There is a large contingent of Trump supporters than I would not like in the party, that's true. But I don't think it's what the party "is," just like I don't think Clinton is what the democratic party "is." The party can be pretty diverse but both have their fringe groups and the racist religious zealots are for sure part of the base that is for Trump. Many of the republicans I know do not like that part of the party at all, but its still there.
  9. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 10:18 AM) The one thing I think you can say about Clinton/Lewinski is that there's a huge power imbalance there and it best it's very questionable when someone in a position of authority engages in sexual activity with a subordinate. I liken it to the college professor who's sleeping with undergrads--definitely not legal, but still pretty skeezy and can raise some questions regarding power, influence and consent. Cheating on your spouse alone is pretty terrible, but I am not going to fault the person who is actually running for getting cheated on. Trump, on the other hand, has cheated, multiple times, and he IS running for president.
  10. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 10:07 AM) For the record it is a relief and kind of exciting to have arguments over whether social programs increase or decrease likelihood of moving people out of poverty cycle. I'd much rather have that discussion than worrying about an insane man will get elected president. Congress is going to be a roadblock or enabler and those elections are very important here. HRC has already won IMO and now it depends if the GOP can right their ship away from trump./
  11. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 10:06 AM) I've made pretty clear I despise Trump, but I feel the need to point out two things from the debate. One, the moderators were friendlier to Clinton than Trump, though I was glad they called them both out on a few things. The only reason they were "friendlier" is he lied and avoided the questions much more frequently than she did. They had to do something to make him actually address his own comments.
  12. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 10:04 AM) Actually discriminating black families from opportunities to live in your development because they are black is to me more pernicious anyways. This will just be Donald sterling part two. "Sure, he discriminated against people of color for decades, but how would we have known he was racist unless we heard him say the n-word?!?!" His family literally made their money as slum lords exploiting poor minorities. I'm surprised more people dont know this. His parents were very close to the KKK.
  13. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 09:38 AM) It helps offset the costs of raising a child, but in no way does $1k make it 'profitable' to have a kid. It may help, but children are more expensive that this credit annually.
  14. QUOTE (brett05 @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 09:55 AM) How is this not encouraging the desperately poor to have more and more kids? LOL, seriously?
  15. They know he's going to lose so he's going to go down "swinging". The GOP then gets to distance themselves from him as he goes down in flames
  16. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 08:21 AM) King David had 500 concubines LOL.
  17. QUOTE (Tony @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 03:04 PM) They are really, really thin up front. I think the back end should be a strength for this team, the Campbell addition should make a big impact, but goals may be hard to come by. Kane needs to have a repeat season, Toews needs to step it up, Hossa needs to find that fountain of youth and Panarin needs to build off of his rookie season. That seems like it's asking a alot. I think they are young but talented in their depth. There are replacements there but they have to grow up
  18. QUOTE (Tony @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 06:03 PM) EXCEPT THE ENTIRE GOP AND THEIR TALKING HEADS THE LAST WEEK PLUS. This is why everyone fights with you on this board, Greg. "Zingers win elections". I mean come on. Even the example given is poor
  19. People are aware of Trump cheating on his wife too correct? Is it better to be the cheater than the one who was cheated on?
  20. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 04:36 PM) Deepest bench ever! was how conservative media hyped it. They could have told Trump to pound sand from day 1, but they knew that parts of their base would be apoplectic. They really wanted Rubio to come through but instead his software continually froze.
  21. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 04:23 PM) He should ask Bill Clinton after Monica got off her knees, sure he knows. Totally. And then ask Melania right after, though she at least took money for the sex.
  22. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 10:54 AM) Only problem is that Cleveland is worse and still needs a QB. So they will likely have the first shot at the best QB. True but at least they should get some sort of impact player or stock up in the later rounds if they want to trade down. Losing is key
  23. Ryan NEEDS trump in office because he can then push through pretty much all of his plans. With Hillary its going to be veto after veto
  24. QUOTE (Boogua @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 10:24 AM) Agreed. That's a game they likely win with Cutler. If the Bears are going to actively tank Hoyer needs to start from here on out. Yep, we need picks and picks and pick. Keep losing.
  25. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 09:30 AM) Kasich has some pretty strong social conservative views and is an anti choice zealot. Lead story in USA today is the many lawsuits women have filed against Trump and his businesses for discrimination Anna harassment https://mobile.twitter.com/jkelly3rd/status...440697226633216 I really thought he would relax his social views if he was close to the nomination. I really liked his economic policies. Romney may have won this election.
