  1. Yeah she lost a ton of weight and dances around in a bikini for half the vid, awseome. And oh yeah, Jenks has a great curve
  2. I forgot to mention this: One of the reason that we all love MB and Garland this year, is that they throw balls in the strike zone and dont walk alot of people. They are efficient and play towards the weakness of playing in Coors east. With a player who walks alot of people, especially in our park, we risk giving up alot of 2-3 run bombs. Not to mention that walking a ton of people put you in the JC category of frustrating the team by not letting them pick up the pitchers. Im not saying he is not lights out, but I see him as being just a bit better than JC if he came to the AL, in our park, and more expensive.
  3. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 02:59 PM) Rock, From what I read on here, you usually know your s***, but AJ had a 87% quality start ratio going into July (Quality starts in 14 out of 16 starts). He's damn good, an no, I'm not delusional enough to buy into ANY AND ALL trade talk discussed on here, but I'd like him on my team. Im just saying, is he really that drastic of an improvement. Factor in that he is in the NL and is in a pitchers park. Not to mention he has had the luxury of having great defense behind him. He is going to be more expensive than any arm on our team, is he really worth that price? I dont think so, plus I dont think he have the players that FLA wants. I see him going to Baltimore.

  5. Janks does have a nasty curve. And I would bury my face in the chests of both females in question.
  6. Jay Payton has reportedly been designated for assignment and is about to be traded by the Red Sox. Payton had made it clear that he was frustrated playing only against lefties. It appears the Red Sox have decided to grant his wish of a trade. Adam Stern could be Payton's replacement on the roster, assuming the trade isn't for another outfielder. The Red Sox could start giving Kevin Millar some playing time in right field against lefties, opening up some more at-bats for John Olerud. Jul. 7 - 2:26 pm et Source: Hartford Courant
  7. great post, this is why I think jenks is a stud and should stay up. Not too many teams have a weapon like this.
  8. QUOTE(He_Gawn @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 02:15 PM) not even close. how so? Walks, inconsistency, about to be a high dollar player. And Aj will command more money that JC in his new deal, especially going into FA'cy
  9. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 02:40 PM) That girl ain't got a damn thing on Jessica Simpson. Yall seen that new video she's got out? Walkin boots or some s***. GOOD LORD!!!!!!!! yeah, its a boner in motion.

  12. Heres something to chew on. Aj Burnett = Jose Contreras
  13. Crede, Uribe or Kong. Probably Crede because I like having Pablo play third just as much as Crede.
  14. Dont worry, in the offseason-HE GONE
  15. white sox, I have insider, they have us listed under every rumor right now, even Griffey. KW is putting up a smoke screen folks, I fully expect a surprise move made soon.
  16. welcome to soxtalk are you a timo fan? :puke
  17. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 11:27 AM) We haven't seen his plus change because he doesn't have a change. uh, yeah he does, he has a plus change.
  18. QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 11:16 AM) Jenks wont be the Setup man, Politte is pitching better than any reliever in baseball if you look at the Stats (barring Cordero, that dudes a f***ing beast). I think he is the closer of the future however, he has closer stuff that people drool over. He has a nasty curve, a GREAT fastball, and we havent even seen his plus change yet. The guy is hard to hit hard, and he can close games for us. Imagine him coming in after 6 innings of El Duque, the ball will look like its going 200, or after shingo like yesterday. Those guys couldnt even see the ball. Awesome.
  19. QUOTE(quickman @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 09:09 AM) the Southtown continues to speculate on stuff that may happen. I think KW will do something but another outfielder is not what we need. Pitching will win the world series, its that simple. Everyday the Southtown has more speculation. dont forget we will expand our rosters to include Brian Anderson as well, I think he could be a good guy off the bench.
  20. QUOTE(Beastly @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 10:57 AM) Silvy and Carmen have a really interesting show. I like how WMVP gave them a show for me to wake up to...its really interesting. wake up to?? You lazy f***
  21. QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 10:58 AM) Dammit I'm playing a show that night magician???
  22. just scored some club box seats in section 268, I hope these are good.
  23. How can this people claim to be acting on a holy war, when they attack defenseless people that have nothing to do with their country and/or oppression? How holy is it to bomb defenseless people who are trying to get to work to feed their own families? For a nation of people who are trying to establish their identity in the civilized world, they ar taking steps back. Only savages and uncivil people would attack people in this way.
  24. I wish someone would give him a cutter for his birthday
