  1. Still got two on saturday vs A's lower bowl section 115 60 takes em both.
  2. QUOTE(JimH @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 09:01 AM) I did not know that was her in your avatar. Interesting. She looked great without all the makeup, etc. and hair done up magazine style. she would look good any way you slice her, she is one of the hottest women on earth, and one of the nicest as well.
  3. his shot last night was even farther, damn
  4. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 09:53 AM) He's a question mark. Just like Thomas was a question mark. He may come back and be great, but maybe not. Thomas injury was more severa and he is a larger man putting more weight on his ankle. Schilling will be a lights out closer, you can bookmark this page if you like.
  5. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 09:48 AM) C'mon. He's coming back from a serious injury. The old Schilling may never reappear. Right...come on-its not like it was Tommy-john or anything. He is throwing the ball fine in his rehab, and is gaining velocity. You dont think he has the ability to close games? All it takes it two fastballs and a splitter.
  6. QUOTE(VAfan @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 11:10 PM) I'm going Friday night with my wife, but we'll be in the upper reserve, section 328. I hope we paste the O's, who are in a free fall. I think they'll fall to their typical 4th place in the AL East. By the way, I was ready to take on the Nats as my only NL team but my first game (their 3rd overall) was my worst-ever experience at a major league sporting event. The PA system was so loud it was painful. I left after 3 innings. I'm told they've turned it down, but I haven't returned. And I'm not crazy about the way they have stolen some of the limelight from the Sox. Even so, it would be refreshing if they were the team to end the Braves run of 12 or 13 NL East titles. Let me know where you guys are meeting up in Baltimore. I can't promise to make it, but I might. you always need an NL team, mine is the reds, great park, great fans.
  7. I actually just talked about this yesterday, I think im going to drive down to camden with some friends, it should be a great time.
  8. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 09:29 AM) And at this point, nobody knows how reliable Schilling can be. its schilling, his career numbers speak for themselves.
  9. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 08:08 AM) the most amazing thing about his fastball is how he throws it like he is only throwing a 90 mph fastball, it almost looked effortless. he looked alot like colon does, where its a short-armed devliery that almost sneaks out of his hand and explodes over the plate.
  10. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 11:58 PM) They need a reliever much, much more then we do. I dont agree, they are putting Schilling in the closers role right now, and I see John Smoltz-type production out of him in that role.
  11. yeah b****es, hey yankees dont f*** with the soxtalk army, first cubs nation learns their lesson, now the evil empire, whos next?
  12. I think Dye has played some first for the A's at one point.
  13. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 03:17 PM) He almost called him Hideki. And apparently Crede has really come out of his shell this year. Hawk said that he was telling jokes in the clubhouse the other night and had everyone rolling on the floor laughing, this is one of the main reason I think that KW is reluctant to get rid of him.
  14. QUOTE(Y2HH @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 02:40 PM) Join the fight against online music piracy? Hahah. I know your serious and all...but...hahaha. I pirate the s*** out of music online. Im downloading as we speak.
  15. the only place I could see him going in NY or Atlanta, because they are the only two teams who would risk it.
  16. I have two in section 115 for saturday for sale
  17. Charlie Hough, major league knuckleballer, played 25 seasons in the major leagues, from 1970 to 1995. Charlie began his career with the Dodgers, staying there until being traded to the Rangers in 1980. While a Ranger, Charlie pitched in the 1986 All-Star Game, and set many Ranger records. After the 1990 season, Charlie left to sign with the White Sox as a free agent. After the 1992 season, Charlie was again a free agent and chose to sign with the expansion Florida Marlins. He stayed with the team until his retirement after the 1994 season. As a Marlin, he got the first win and strikeout in franchise history. Charlie finished his career with a 216-216 record, despite spending most of his Dodger years as a reliever. He had a 3.75 ERA, 2362 strikeouts, and only 1665 walks.
  18. I've got my 2 for saturday section 115 face value PM me if interested. I usually just give them away but im going to buy some for friday, so its basically a trade for me.
  19. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 6, 2005 -> 02:10 AM) Hough had a knuckleball but it was not his primary pitch. Wood was a pure knuckleballer. I dont recall Hough throwing any other pitch more than his knuckler.
  20. No kidding, he runs every good field in more than one major sport. His patented drainage system is what makes the field so good. He re-did fenway this year, and it happened to be like 11 inches lower than the initial one because he was able to strip off all the crap they didnt need.
  21. lets start Jenks then, see how he likes that.
  22. Yes, he makes the hitters in front and in back of him better, and he has the high OBP and OPS that a #3 hitter needs. Yes thats where he belongs.
