Which is why I said Anderson should be considered if Carl goes down. Having Timo and Pablo play more than their UTL roles is a Dusty Baker move that would turn out bad.
Completely agree, just check out my sig, I think Anderson is one of the bright spots of our system.
QUOTE(beck72 @ May 12, 2005 -> 11:02 AM)
The Sox used Joe B. when Maggs went down last yr. Anderson could give the sox more than what Joe showed last yr.
Anderson is 100 times the player that Joe is, he would be a hell of an upgrade over him. I think he needs a shot sometime this year to see if he can produce.

No need to mess with a prospect who isn't ready yet. I don't see Brian Anderson being called up this year. We'd probably use Ozuna and Timo accordingly.
when the rosters expand, Anderson will be up.

All right, it is nice to see mreye aren't alone in working in downtown...
im at 200 south wacker!!! I will walk over there for sure.
QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ May 11, 2005 -> 10:17 PM)
I am in favor of keeping Count through the year. A lot of people seem to liek Adrian gonzalez but I'm not that impressed with him. Doesn't seem to have the power you'd want as a first-baseman.
I'd take that guy stuck behind Thome though....
QUOTE(JimH @ May 12, 2005 -> 08:18 AM)
Brian A. is not on the 40 man roster, which currently stands at 39 BTW.
Seeing as Everett is day to day, my best guess is they will fill in with Perez and Ozuna as needed.
If it were a longer term situation, they might make a roster move.
Promote Brian Anderson!!!!!!! Lets see it fellas!!!

Maybe a mod can put a ? in the thread title ... ?
On topic, he was part of the White Sox organization before and has a great relationship with KW and Guillen and supposedly Reinsdorf as well. So it's not a stretch to think they'll try to get him back in the fold.
Wasnt he a south american scout for us as well???
I dont know if this was posted, but heres the reason for Ozzie's weirdo lineup
Chicago's Scott Podsednik sat out because of an upset stomach. DH Carl Everett did not play because of cramps in his left leg

Your significant other looks you in the eye and accusingly suggests that you love the White Sox more than you love her ........................ and you can't argue with her.
many times
When your moods revolve around the team. You have season tickets, and at least mark certain periods in your life by what happened to the sox that day.
And, you post on this board religiously!!
Great road trip guys. Plus its great this year when any arm in our rotation can be the streak stopper. Last year if we lost the first two games, we were destined to at least lose 4. Now we have several arms who can stop the bleeding, this is great!!!!
Lets go Sox!!!
QUOTE(fathom @ May 11, 2005 -> 02:14 PM)
Sorry, but Crede's not going anywhere. He's cheap, plays good defensive, and is hitting near .300 right now. He's one of the last players on our team I think deserves to be in hot water (even though I'm sick of the weak pop ups he hits).
uhhh he is cheap until Borassss gets him a huge contract this offseason.
damn, that was a bad series in the clutch, considering hitting with the bases loaded is usually the easiest thing to do, but whatever, at least we hit the bases full.
Its nice to be able to single a few on, lets go defense!!!!!!
