  1. QUOTE(JimH @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:15 PM) What happened in Minnesota, are we talking suspension material??? Davis hit stewart, then both benches were given a warning. Then he was singled in, and as he crossed the play we talked s*** to Davis who was backing up the play, fat Lecroy and Davis and stewart started pushing. No punches thrown.
  2. Update in Min, shannon stewart gets into it with Davis from Cle, benches clear
  3. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:09 PM) What happened? The umps made a s***ty foul ball call I believe. They second guessed their call and reversed it. Gardy came out and went apes***, got tossed, then Barret the home plate ump was in his face, Gardy kicked dirt on the plate, Barrett chased him to the dug out and poked him in the chest, then the crew chief separated them.
  4. anyone who is watching the twins game too. Gardenhire just got tossed, and went apes***
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:53 PM) Everett = swinging at everything these days just these days?? Have you ever seen him play??? He almost always swings at anything for the first two strikes.
  6. heres where we should have the major league change of go-go-go-go in the stadium. That would be sweet.
  7. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:46 PM) Yup, CC started, obviously didn't do very well. Im watching it. He gave up a homer to Bartlett, walked in about 2 runs, then gave up a single. He couldnt hit the strike zone for 4 batters in a row.
  8. QUOTE(rangercal @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:23 AM) You weren't supposed to tell anyone! You promised! It was the porn stache!!!!!!
  9. Heres the thing. The yankees dont have much to trade to get players back. They have absolutley no minor league system left, their players are all old and overpaid. All they can do is keep signing free agents every year, which does not always help. Cough Jared Wright Cough. One thing that goes overlooked in the recent rants is the cohesiveness of the Yankees dynasty. Alot of those players on the WS winnning teams grew up in the minors together, and then went to the bigs. They had some cohesiveness between them. This clubhouse is just hired guns and headcases.
  10. Stay AWAY from Benson, he will not give you much fantasy value.
  11. QUOTE(shakes @ May 4, 2005 -> 02:23 PM) Anybody know what channel that is on DirecTV? I believe its 639 or whatever RSNa is I think.
  12. No mentioned of the fact that he led the league in steals. Whats his OBP this season thus far?
  13. HE was just saying the right thing in the situation, but everyone knows he was throwing at him.
  14. From Espn.com Left field: Scott Podsednik Calling Scott Podsednik overrated is like saying stunned fish in a barrel are easy targets. The former Brewers flash-in-the-pan at age 27 was grossly overhyped in 2003; his sophomore season was indicative of his true ability (.244 Avg, .313 OBP, .364 Slg). If Podsednik were a great fly catcher playing in a park with a cavernous center field, he might be worth starting. Except that he's only average-plus in the outfield and he's now been shifted to left field, where his balsa wood bat is not even close to adequate. Kerry Wood also makes the list as the pitcher.
  15. I will be very honest about BBTN. I only watch it for the web gems. If I want sox highlights I will watch sportsnite, but I LOVE web gems, it makes my night.
  16. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ May 4, 2005 -> 11:36 AM) TIFWIW = take it for what its worth and thats Raven Riley... Damn I love that avatar, as far as I am concerned, leave us off ESPN. Whenever we drawe attention we fold. I like it better when teams are gearing up against us on ESPN, let us continue to dominate and not have coverage.
  17. QUOTE(shagar69 @ May 3, 2005 -> 08:30 PM) go f*** urself douchebag :headshake still crying I see
  18. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 3, 2005 -> 08:35 PM) Two good things from Shingo tonight: 1.)He kept the ball low. 2.)He got ahead in the counts ('cept for Berroa). It's a must that he has those two things every night if he even wants any chance of succeeding. He was good tonight, but I still hope that Ozzie goes by the situational closer, rather than the set closer (like Mario has been saying). So far, I've generally liked how Oz has played the matchups. And heres a bad thing to go with that. 3) The only pitch he could throw for strikes was his fastball, again. They are going to sit on it and kill it.
  19. sounds ok to me, definatley would cure the late night munchies.....
