  1. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 29, 2016 -> 06:31 PM) I agree all I hear is IF the nerve damage gets under control over and over..............2nd round no thanks. He has drop foot. It's a terrible pick
  2. We seem to be able to draft pitching and nothing else
  3. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 11:41 PM) Giants wanted Floyd. Bears ruined their first round plans. Ah ok. Seemed weird.
  4. Not gonna lie. More excited about later rounds. Lots of sleepers that the Bears could use
  5. Man. Elliott behind that O line. May be a fantasy pickup
  6. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 10:42 PM) I think he's going to be a quality safety. Would fit nicely on the Bears. He's very good. I'd love him in the second.
  7. Meanwhile Bama reports an NCAA investigation and a coach quits due to violations. That's a news dump folks.
  8. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 06:12 PM) Elliot is gonna fall and fall hard tonight. Scarlet carpet would never trip a buckeye
  9. QUOTE (Chi Town Sox @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 05:28 PM) Ezekiel Elliott is dressed like an absolute moron tonight. No way Fox picks that. Unless he's trolling Goodell Most teams DO judge their picks on draft day attire. His half shift was his signature look in college until the NCAA did what they do best. http://deadspin.com/the-nfl-drafts-red-car...liot-1773709566
  10. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 01:18 PM) Seriously. This was my absolute first thought when reading this thread (about how uncompassionate some people are). Baseball players are people first. Condolences to the Robertson family. Yeah jesus. Take as much time as you need dude.
  11. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 01:03 PM) I wouldn't consider protecting his mom from an abusive stepfather nor having discussions with an agent as off-the-field issues. Unless there is something else I'm not aware of. The injury concern is fair, but breaking his leg is more of a fluke thing I think. And it didn't seem to bother him at all once he came back last year. Anyway, I do like Stanley but to me, there is a clear difference b/t the two of them. Stanley is still worthy of a Top 15 pick. Just not 3rd. I dont consider Stanley that close to Tunsil. Stanley is a pretty good RT IMO in the NFL. Nothing more.
  12. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 09:23 AM) This is probably more fun for Rock than others, but curious - For those that have a college team - is there any player you'd like to see up on the bears? I'd love if a late (4th round or later) pick ended up netting the bears Kentrell Brothers. I'd love every single Buckeye with the exception of Tyvis Powell and Cardale Jones. Von Bell and Eli Apple would be great fits for the Bears but they wont be available by the time they go for their second pick.
  13. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 09:17 AM) Anaheim f***in sucks. I love watching Kesler, Getzlaf and Perry lose And Bieksa
  14. Sign cheap foreign free agents and draft well and it's sustainable. However at some point maybe 2018 or 19 you are going to have to start chipping away at the core.
  15. Feel bad for smith. He was raking in the minors, got a chance to come up and start and his back goes out.
  16. They will have roughly 10 million to sign 7 players.
  17. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 02:08 PM) For those of us less informed on salaries and caps, which players are the Hawks likely to lose before next season? I've heard a lot about Shaw being gone, but who else? https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/blackhawks Good place to start.
  18. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 08:18 AM) Didn't Beric finally die when he gave Cat the kiss to resurrect her though? Maybe it will be similar with Mel & Jon Beric was resurrected by Thoros several times and then gives his life for Cat.
  19. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 11:02 AM) Who is your new first line? Kane-Toews-Panarin? Panarin and Kane are somewhat redundant in that scenario. I do like Kane and Towes together but they need someone with size and that can go to the net, and it cant be Hossa. I wish we had a top 6 forward with size ready to come up but they flat out dont. I liked Ladd on the top with Towes but they will not be able to afford him. Most of the forwards I like for scoring happen to be pretty damn tiny with the exception of Bondra.
  20. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 01:28 PM) You better think Elliot is going to be the best rb in the league if you draft him that high. He's probably going in the top ten so I dont think it even matters for the Bears
