  1. QUOTE (illinilaw08 @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 10:02 AM) Assuming Bosa, Ramsey and Brouner aren't there, what's the consensus on Jack's health? The talent might be too good to pass up at 11, but the red flags are pretty red for a team a couple years (best case) from contending. Hargraves falling to 11 is the most reasonable scenario that would fit a major need. If Lynch is still there, might be able to get somebody to trade up. Maybe somebody who is already a contender would trade up to get Jack if he's still on the board? Jack's knee is apparently about to be shredded
  2. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 11:53 PM) And you are worried about the less than .5% amount of people that identify as trans? What gave you the impression I was worried about anything? At the end of the day if your license or ID says a certain sex, thats where you go IMO. Trans people should be able to have whatever they want on their license and it keeps out weirdos who just want a peek.

    Storing Music

Itunes folder is in my private cloud on my home network. I have 5 TB of storage and about 2.5 of music and videos.
  4. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:27 AM) Sometimes she says some bafflingly stupid things. Shes a moron.
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 09:06 AM) Brad Biggs was on the score this morning musing that the Browns will take Elliott at 8 if he is there, to keep the OSU star in state and try and drive up fan interest. Cardale makes sense too but if they take him at 8, well, that is the Browns for you Cardale should be a 2nd rounder and I think they would grab him there.
  6. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:50 AM) Rankins isn't a fit in the Bears defense. Reed is a good player. Probably a reach at #11 though. Ronnie Stanley would be a great pick though. If you made me guess, I bet they take Shaq Lawson. Lawson is a good bet. I'm not sold on Stanley at all, I think he ends up as a RT/guard and we already have that.
  7. ok, Vinyl is pretty good. Its basically a coke-fueled Mad men with music.
  8. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 01:52 PM) Elliot is gonna be a Bear. Hes not gonna make it that far.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 08:01 PM) Depending on the bonus money, that isn't that big of a deal. YOu can always cut someone. Exactly. Pay the man and draft one you can develop. Love to see Cleveland is going to f*** up another QB draft. Pretty sure they are aiming for Cardale.
  10. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 01:51 AM) But mental handicaps are not? By the way, I'm not referring to any particular players or instances of the R-word being used, just kind of curious as to what groups the NHL might decide to stand up for, and what other groups they choose to ignore the slurs for. Just don't get caught on TV screaming any of those words. I believe they are all off limits. It's too bad that's going to be Shaws last game in a Hawks uni and that was his farewell
  11. QUOTE (Tony @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 08:25 PM) I know this is what you are supposed to do on a message board, but the whole argument is stupid. No one should be diminishing what Saad is just because he's gone. He was a big loss, no matter who replaced him. However, in a case like Saad, you can't even really blame the Hawks. That whole situation was a mess, and I believe if he had any other agent, he'd still be a Hawk. I'm not diminishing Saad, he's awesome. But that wasn't be point. The point was Panarin has more than "an argument" at being more valuable moving forward. Because he does. 77 points as a 23-24 year old rookie is crazy good.
  12. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 04:41 PM) Yes I'm sure one being on a s***ty team and the other playing with the Art Ross and likely Hart winner didn't quite tip the scales there.. He played on the top line of a stanley cup winning team and scored 52 points.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 03:54 PM) I would even go higher than that. Unless the cap jumps unexpectedly high, I don't see how they could bring him back, even before this incident. Yeah he's pretty expendable already. Someone will want to be a high energy agitator that parks in front of the net to make an NHL team.
  14. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 02:30 PM) Hey everyone, stop it with the meltdowns. The new playoff positioning is idiotic. The #3 team should not play the #2 team in round 1. It's dumb. However, it sure does feel like a rivalry. This team is dog-tired. We've won 3 Cups in the past 6 years. It's not happening this year. Anyone pining for Brandon Saad and Patrick Sharp needs to be lobotomized. This team plucked a f***ing awesome young stud in Panarin out of nowhere and had no choice but to offload those overpaid clowns. Just cut the bulls*** and stop trying to find a scape goat. It's not happening this year. They'll come back next year rested and ready to f*ck sh*t up. Good LORD are we really talking about Saad and Patrick f*cking Sharp when Anisimov and Panarin combined for 119 points? Sharp and Saad made and combined for 108. And neither of those f*cks plays a capable center I don't give a s*** about face off draws. Winning 44% of draws is s***ty but it sure as f*cking sh*tballs isn't the reason the Hawks are down 3-1 right now to the better St. Louis Blues. For F*CK'S SAKE the f*cking whining in this thread Because in the last few months when they went from first place to THIRD place in the West their entire future went down the drain.
  15. The warning beeps from those things are really hard to find at times. I know i've wandered around my house trying to find the correct detector many times
  16. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 10:07 AM) Saad is a stud and only 23. Now? I'll take the first two. Moving forward? Only Panarin has an argument. Panarin is one year older and scored 24 more points this season. An argument?
  17. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 12:49 PM) You look at Anisimov's year and tell me what part was good. He went several games at times while doing nothing. He played on a line with the ROY who surpassed 70 points and the MVP who surpassed 100 points yet he ended with an awful 42 points. He also is terrible at the dot. He's nothing more than a 3rd line center who shouldn't be making even close to what he is annually. Again, I'm not saying that those 3 guys would be the difference in the series. I am saying, however, that if this past offseason is what we'll look back on and say that finally did it- after many offseasons of unloading guys like Ladd, Brouwer, Campbell, Leddy, Byfuglien, etc- then I wouldn't be upset because I would be thrilled with the 6 years I witnessed. While everyone else was very upset with the outcome and the realization that this series is likely going to go the Blues' way, I was more thinking optimistically about the guys I was able to watch win game after game, championship after championship. But yes, Saad, Sharp and Oduya are all superior players to Anisimov. Anisimov, however, is probably more valuable than those two forwards because he plays a position that Chicago has been notoriously lacking at throughout the last 10 years despite those 3 Cups. Knowing what we know now, however, I would gladly trade Anisimov for Oduya. You literally answered your question yourself. He was the first legit 2nd line center we've had and he centered a line of the ROY and the Hart trophy winner which was the best season kane has ever had. Its not a coincidence. Oduya is crap, Saad is awesome (but too expensive) and Sharp is losing value by the day. The Hawks had to make those moves and they worked out extremely well. They put together one of the most dangerous lines in hockey.
  18. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 09:07 AM) Anisimov's not very good and the 3 you mentioned are all better hockey players. It just so happens Anisimov's a center so his value is a bit higher. I disagree. But if you think last years whipping boys are all of a sudden the missing pieces then more power to you.
  19. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 11:37 PM) No, but Saad and Sharp would have helped offensively and Oduya did kill penalties. I'm not saying those 3 were main cogs. My point is that if this past offseason symbolizes the end, it was a great run. Finding Oduya's replacement along with better depth will be tough with Panarin's extension and a lack of draft picks. Trading a solid, cheap, young Danault for the 2 idiots they got in return was a mistake too. I'd rather have Anisimov and Panarin now and moving forward than Saad and Sharp.
  20. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 12:05 AM) That's actually the 3rd different video you can find of him saying "f***ing f*****". Not that I really care much, but the Hawks or the NHL might. He's just calling them a bundle of sticks. No big deal.
  21. They are playing exactly like they did in the slump at the end of the year.
  22. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 11:24 PM) I wonder if Toews is just worn down from playing so much hockey the last 3 years, something just seems a tad bit off. Backes is doing a real nice job on him and he's backed up by a good defensive unit. He's living below the goal.
  23. Tale of the series right there. Chance to come back and shoot yourself in the foot
