QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 12, 2016 -> 09:15 AM) You seem to be happy that violence and threats to security disrupted our political process. The protesting should be allowed to happen at any rally but trump over the course of the last several months has specifically called for violence against any opposition. This was exactly what HE asks for. Don't blame anyone but what he created.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 10:57 PM) His supporters are as big of cowards as he is. Just fine with violence when there's only a handful of protesters, run scared when there's actual opposition. Pretty much and so much white trash. Trumps entire support base is there because of blatant racism. I went down there and hung out in the area after and it was so f***ing racist.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 09:16 PM) It seems like there have been more blowout losses this season than in the past, but yeah, I'm not worried. At some point it will catch up with them, maybe in the playoffs this spring, but until then just enjoy the ride. You know they will be ready for the Kings on Monday. We are fighting for first place. I'm not worried in the least. Need to clean up the PK however.

QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 06:06 PM) Does OSU have any interest in getting back on defense? No. They suck at defense in general.

Working on the PK tonight

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 02:03 PM) You might be isis, they have to punch you in the face. maybe even kill you My friend who bartends down there is a non-white lesbian, I am honestly afraid for her.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 02:22 PM) Well he's only had what, 2 teams, 3 at the most, worthy of making it to Sunday, so just off statistics it's a tough road. But yeah, this is getting annoying. Technically in a single elim tourney its possible for all teams to make it.
-
I guess I never realized that Crean hadnt ever made it to sunday in the Big Ten tourney. Why is he so bad at tournament play?

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 12:24 PM) https://t.co/eQlRFk2x24 I was going to go down to the west loop to watch the hawks tonight but I fear the racist idiots that are going to be starting fights

Wow, that was shocking, Michigan kinda sucks

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 10:46 AM) I go to UIC, I'm in the thick of it now. I hope cooler heads prevail because s*** could pop off at any minute. Fueled by Meth

Look at the trash trying to fight at the Trump Rally in Chicago. I dont identify with meth-head white trash who vote for someone because of racism.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 9, 2016 -> 09:43 AM) McCain and more so Romney ran on platforms that were right-wing compared to say Rockefeller Republicans of the 60's and 70's but are pretty standard for the modern right-wing dominated GOP. As the article notes, Cruz is much further to the right of either of them. I linked it because I liked the part imagining when an equivalent left-wing version of Cruz would need to look like. They felt that their only way to win was to make the evangelicals come out and vote. It was a bad bet

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 10:01 AM) These people don't care. To them, Kasich isn't evan a Republican. And thats interesting to me. I always felt (being from Chicago) that republican generally supported the party because of its economic policies and the resistance of a federally run country. I guess there are many more people who are republicans because of the Bible, religion and restricting one's rights over themselves.
-
QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 09:36 AM) I have a wide variety of friends, from people who are so far left they think Hillary is a Republican, to people who are so far right they can't tell the difference between Bernie Sanders and John Kasich. The folks on the right were spewing all kinds of venom Kasich's way last night and this morning. The folks on the right need to understand he may be the best chance of having a republican in the white house. If you lean right because of economic policy then he's a great choice. If you lean right because you think the bible is the law and religion should rule, then Cruz is your guy. Rubio to me is a puppet who will be run by the GOP and Trump simply appeals to people who dont listen and apparently the racist population of the US or are fed up with "politicians." We spent how much time talking about ISIS and the middle east last night and its not even in the top ten things threatening the lives of Americans. Thats where we are in politics today.

QUOTE (shipps @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 09:27 AM) Kyle had a few brutal games but he had some dominating games in there as well, against a couple premier rushers mind you. Clearly he was learning on the fly last year but he has the talent to develop into one of the games best at Tackle IMO. Terrible is definitely not a word I would use for Kyle Long at Tackle, that is just ridiculous. Everything I saw, (and I dont know where to look now) was he was rated in the bottom half of eligible tackles all season while as a guard he was consistently one of the best.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 08:37 AM) I guess Kasich ruined it last night. He admitted that man contributes to climate change. Highly praised by liberals, who aren't going to vote for him anyway, and now getting absolutely trashed by conservatvies, who are now less likely to vote for him than they already were. Silly guy, thinking you can be honest and still get Republicans to vote for you. I thought he had a good night for people who are figuring out who to vote for, his economic points were spot on. Meanwhile Trump just kept repeating he was going to negotiate deals everywhere. Yes, what I want is the government to be even slower while they bid out everything.
-
QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Mar 4, 2016 -> 10:41 AM) He's moderate on social issues (except abortion) but his tax plan, while not nearly as far right as Cruz/Rubio, is still not very friendly to the middle/lower classes. He seems more willing to compromise across the aisle though which would never happen with the others, especially not Cruz. Republican economic policy in general is not for the middle and lower classes. Kasich has experience with actual budgetary discussion vs Trump who "will get better deals" and continually declares bankruptcy. I dont get the Ohio hate, they are in a much better state than Illinois is and we elected Obama. Ohio is in the top tier of credit ratings in this country.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 10, 2016 -> 09:46 PM) I think he means Nebraska Great facilities at least. Nebraska needs to get back on steroids.
-
QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Mar 10, 2016 -> 10:41 PM) He was rated higher than massive without ever having played there until week of last year. I like him at guard though. I havent seen those statistics, last I looked because I was in the same boat as you, I was sent some metrics where he was one of the worst in the league.
-
QUOTE (shipps @ Mar 10, 2016 -> 02:48 PM) There is still a part of me that feels like the Bears arent utilizing Long to his full potential putting him back to Guard. He is such a dynamic talent to put him at a position that historically been of less importance seems counterproductive. Now I understand that technically that might not even be the case since they will use his athleticism to run plays that you could never run with an average guard and the fact he will make Massie even better in theory but I still have some concerns about the move. He's pretty terrible at Tackle.

QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 10, 2016 -> 06:55 PM) I'm almost pissed Michigan won. Theyll get blown out tomorrow. I'm hoping to keep it under 20

Put me out of my misery, I cant watch teams that dont hit free throws

Marianos differs so much from location to location. The one in the west loop started out great but turned to s***, the one on wolf road is excellent. Its weird like that.
