  1. Ugly ugly win but I'll take it. Crawford was awesome.
  2. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Jan 19, 2016 -> 09:26 PM) Real a tale of two games. The third has been a tough watch. About halfway through the second the game became hockey on a s***ty pond and the Hawks have played in their zone the entire time.
  3. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 19, 2016 -> 09:09 PM) Being outshot 13-2 in the third.
  4. Hawks look pretty terrible on the butter soft ice. Scrappy game.
  5. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 19, 2016 -> 09:22 AM) I don't see how that move helps the Cavs deal with the Warriors' speed and shooting. Yeah me either. The size that Cle kept running at GS was killing them. Love is basically worthless against them.
  6. It's no Oxford, Ohio that's for sure, but the football game draws a lot more people.
  7. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Jan 18, 2016 -> 08:51 PM) There is definitely "a question", but the Spurs are probably better than GS when it comes down to it. No. GS is the top dog.
  8. I enjoy watching GS destroy the Cavs. They have no idea what to do.
  9. Cleveland may want to rethink putting a non existent skyline on their court. Such a weird decision
  10. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jan 17, 2016 -> 10:34 PM) I probably should've said with the arrival of Gustafsson also since he's been there a few more games than Scuderi . But Gus has been impressive being a +12 in the 15 games he's played. I didn't know other fans talk about the Hawks in that way. I know I mentioned how the Hawks reminded me of those 90's Wings teams but that was maybe in the preseason with the arrival of all the Russian players. Seems like there's been a Russian revival in the NHL this year or maybe I'm just noticing more than the last few years. But there is some incredible Russian talent in the NHL now. Even in the way the Hawks play its quite a bit like those Wings teams. They had to have a grinder line back then because the NHL was still a fighting/physical league, but today its not totally necessary.
  11. QUOTE (SnB @ Jan 15, 2016 -> 12:14 PM) I'll take it any day over the 2014 "don't go outside for 3 months" winter. Yep, 2013 as well when it snowed every saturday. This winter is pretty mild even though its cold today. It only lasts a few days instead of those two weeks when it was dangerous to go outside.
  12. QUOTE (farmteam @ Jan 17, 2016 -> 07:20 PM) IU switches out defensive coordinators. Brian Knorr out, Tom Allen in. He ran USF's defense last year with 4-2-5 formation. We just switched to the 3-4 under Knorr the last two years, wonder if we'll switch to 4-2-5 now. 4-2-5 in a league with strong running backs is usually not a great idea.
  13. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jan 17, 2016 -> 01:12 PM) #FreeJohnScott f*** that talentless plug.
  14. QUOTE (2005thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:52 PM) I truly believes that if Rodgers got to play with more skilled players, he would have won multiple SB's. The best receiver he's played with is probably Jordy Nelson, and best running back would be Lacy or Ryan Grant, and he never really had a pass catching tight end (it's partly the system he plays in), but gosh, that isn't an impressive list at all. I somewhat agree. He's had talent but not all that much. If they get that stud back its gonna help him a ton. I would chase Forte hard if I was them or draft one of the studs coming out in the draft. EzE would play every snap.
  15. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:43 PM) So where does this rank among the greatest playoff games of all time? I know that most of this game wasn't all that interesting, but the last 2 minutes and OT were absolutely insane. I loved it from start to finish. Hard fought
  16. QUOTE (2005thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:36 PM) Larry Fitz! The old Buick still got some zips He's been amazing this year.
  17. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:34 PM) There should be 3-4 guys swarming the receiver in that situation. Instead, there were only 2. Yeah but he got rid of it way earlier than he wanted.
  18. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:31 PM) GB with a horseshoe up it ass again. Eh. They got screwed a few times by the refs.
  19. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:30 PM) I can't believe the Cardinals brought pressure on that play. I don't care if you're in dime or quarter. You have to play prevent there. There clearly weren't enough DBs back to cover that pass. Two guys were there and lost the jump ball and Rodgers got rid of it early. I don't fault the call, I fault the dbs for not taking the ball like a mother. You cannot allow a WR to get that.
  20. Well. Won two $100 prop bets that Rodgers would tie it.
