Illinois can be hacks but this is definitely lopsided.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Feb 28, 2018 -> 03:04 PM) "I like taking the guns early," President Trump says. "Take the guns first, go through due process second." Imagine the s***storm from conservatives if Obama had said that. I agree with him on it too, but there is no way to know what guns the guy has because there is no universal electronic registry.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 28, 2018 -> 02:04 PM) From what I can tell, some show called "Morning Joe" argued that the messages from Wikileaks to Roger Stone asking Roger Stone to stop saying he coordinated with them was proof that Roger Stone had contact with Wikileaks. Without seeing the tape its hard to tell, but if they said it proves "contact" that is technically correct, although misleading. What I think he meant to argue was that it disproves coordination between the two. Seems like a lot of the problems are due to bad wording. For example if Stone said "I was never in contact with Wikileaks" these dms would prove that false. But he may have meant to say "i never coordinated" the problem again is when you use imprecise language it leads to nonsense arguments. Ah ok. Roger Stone is a f***head so I dont really care. I also dont care for people getting their news from morning shows like these.

QUOTE (raBBit @ Feb 28, 2018 -> 12:24 PM) https://twitter.com/ggreenwald/status/968845804592091136 @ggreenwald: This is just such a perfect example of how, as long as someone is sufficiently disliked by the US media, blatant falsehoods are not just permitted by celebrated. All anyone has to do is read the DMs to see that the Atlantic/MSNBC's narrative is the *exact opposite* of reality. I dont understand a word of his tweet or what he shared from Assange. Care to cliff notes that s***?

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 28, 2018 -> 12:03 PM) "This is a staged event by the liberal media to push their agenda that teachers shouldn't be armed!" -Alex Jones probably Dont worry, I've already seen "false flag" accusations all over twitter. people suck

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 28, 2018 -> 10:49 AM) Now we know how they have survived while Sports Authority and friends have had to shut down. Dicks is kind of a step above those places IMO, at least in quality of space and merch. I love going there for some gear, but I honestly have never noticed weapons being sold there. I've always gone to Cabellas.

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 28, 2018 -> 09:58 AM) Dick's Sporting Goods will no longer sell "assault rifles" Also raising age to 21 for firearm purchases. Isnt it crazy these things were sold at Dicks in the first place? WTF

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 27, 2018 -> 12:16 PM) Why didn't he run after the guy and tackle him himself? A legend in his own mind.

QUOTE (ptatc @ Feb 27, 2018 -> 07:31 AM) I have no doubt that they are. Flexibility is the key in most baseball activities. almost any activity nowadays. I wish there was more emphasis on it when I was younger, odds are my knees wouldnt have been so damaged. -
A guy who literally hasnt run in 30 years, was too much of a coward to join the armed forces and has shown repeatedly that he's scared of pretty much everything, would have run into danger willingly. Thats what they believe. They are idiots.
-
LOL, thats why they are his base, they will literally believe anything.

I would think the training staff is working on flexibility with these kids because thats something that generally contributes to the repeated injury of something like this. -
QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 26, 2018 -> 06:54 PM) Sweet. I hope she enjoys it! I'm just happy she chose a car that I am open to driving. I couldnt stand her cherokee even though it carries the same brand as my JGC. I hated the way it drove.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 26, 2018 -> 04:57 PM) Until we can get laws changed, as many as needed. Private schools will have to double their tuition. Public schools, tax the public to pay for the guard. Maybe it will force the politicians to get the guns off the streets. There is absolutely no reason to have these weapons in the public's hands. The odds of that getting voted in are less than zero if it comes with increased cost, plus armed security guards arent going to make it safer. Many schools already have them.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 26, 2018 -> 12:06 PM) 1st, 4th and a prospect. Very nice indeed. Terrible overpayment. -
Several people who were trained to face danger got scared by a real live gunman. But that math teacher that everyone emails 15 times a week because they think she is bad at their job is going to rise up and confront evil.

How many domestic terrorist events has the FBI stopped in the last 12 months?
-
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 26, 2018 -> 10:13 AM) Law enforcement failed these children literally at every single stage of this incident. We keep getting told to report, report, report. All of the reporting here worked out to 17 kids dead. Kind of hard to have faith in that system that seems to be taking agents buying lunches for families of potential NBA players more seriously than essentially domestic terrorism. So ALL law enforcement is at fault here. Ok. I guess all police and all federal officers are worthless because of the actions of one location and one single department. FYI, the FBI agents in Florida that were working this issue are in a totally different area than anyone in those financial crimes. Thats a pretty weak talking point.
-
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 26, 2018 -> 10:07 AM) And to keep trusting the people who are telling you to trust them to keep you safe apparently. So, dont trust law enforcement anymore, train everyone to be a law enforcement officer in a crisis?

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 26, 2018 -> 09:21 AM) We have the Buick Enclave, it's great. I actually think the Acadia is basically the same car. it's actually smaller. The Enclave shares a platform with the traverse. I sat in the buick, fantastic interior, but she felt it was slightly too big.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 26, 2018 -> 09:09 AM) Subaru also has a brand new one coming out, not sure if it's actually available yet though. Might be worth looking at, looking at the rest of your list. Actually heading in today to get final numbers from both dealers and making a decision, so its whatever is out now.
