  2. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 20, 2017 -> 10:45 PM) Pathetic. Looked like the last place team we are in that game. Bad pitching. Bad defense. Horrific hitting in the clutch when it mattered. And bad managing with the bunt that one inning when we were only down one. Good. the rebuild needs trades and picks
  3. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 20, 2017 -> 10:35 PM) We ARE losing though... Moar!!! Need top three pick.
  4. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 20, 2017 -> 10:27 PM) Are you eating the brownies again? Need good picks and prospects dude. The rebuild needs another year. Players need to perform so they can be traded.
  5. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jun 20, 2017 -> 01:57 PM) I took my 14 year old nephew out this weekend and boy do I have a bigger appreciation for coaches of young kids. Granted, you at least have kids who WANT to be good and probably have some experience, but this kid got SO down on himself when he couldn't hit a good shot. He's only played a few times, and golf is probably THE worst sport to start because of the insane pressure you feel (from your group and from players behind you), but it was still pretty crazy how upset he was that he wasn't hitting the ball like the pros. You don't really get that with other sports. Sure, you're not dunking like Lebron, but you can hit the shots that he takes. He would top the ball, hit it 3 yards, miss completely, etc. I kept telling him to take his time and to try to have fun with it, but it was pretty much torture for him. He sat out a couple of holes because of his frustration. I think by the end he was happy he went and wants to play more in the future, but it was a pretty negative experience for him I think overall, which is sad. I'm a ~10 handicap and would be better if I played more, but even if I shoot a 95 i'm still having a great time. I'm outside playing golf. What's not to like? Driving range with someone like that. Make a game of it. Golf is so mental. I took my nephew and had him hit water balloons. He loved it
  6. QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Jun 20, 2017 -> 09:18 AM) In my last 8 rounds, I've had 7 sub 90 rounds including an 82 in my last which is my lowest ever. Previously in my life I had only shot sub 90 twice and I've played 20+ rounds a year the last three years since i started playing again. I really wish I hadn't quit for five years starting my senior year of high school. Golf is both the most rewarding, and frustrating sport. It sure is fun to be playing this well though. It's the best sport ever. I didn't play until college and I wish I grew up playing. The honestly and frustration is tops of all sports. I can't get enough. Since I joined a club I play at least 60 rounds a year. I'm putting my son into it as soon as I can. I had a long slump last season and my index went to 16 but I'm hoping I get back to 11 by sept.
  7. QUOTE (Tex @ Jun 18, 2017 -> 09:01 PM) Sometimes it is the basics that really get you. I was 12 or 13 over on the front while playing with a few of my varsity guys. We make the turn and I was contemplating excuses to get out of there. A double bogey on ten didn't help my mood. I hit a thin drive that somehow found the fairway on 11. As I was lining up to hit an 8 iron I was a little exasperated and lifted the club and dropped it back down with a little force. I look down and realized I was about three inches inside of where I was set up. I moved closer to the ball, pured my first iron of the day and shot even on the back. Two birdies and six pars to go with the double on 10. Somehow I moved my ball position three inches out. Simple check I should have made a couple hours earlier when I started mis***ting so many shots thin and to the right. It was a good lesson for the team. My game gets messed up by my grip and grip pressure as well as shoulder level. I'll start yanking or blocking depending on my issues. Sometimes you need a reset or have someone you play with tell you what they see.

  11. It is pretty hilarious to see Cleveland fans defend Lebron going to Miami because they want to rag on KD
  12. How'd the selection go over on here? Everyone overreact to a player they havent watched?
  13. People "sided" with her when Trump was mean to her, but she's been a piece of s*** for a long time.

  16. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 12, 2017 -> 03:38 AM) Trump attorney won't rule out firing Mueller http://www.politico.com/story/2017/06/11/t...-239396?ref=yfp Two major companies end theatre sponsorship over Trump "killing scene" in Julius Caesar https://www.yahoo.com/news/delta-ends-spons...-002912904.html SHockingly the base has never read Julius Caesar, oh and also didnt care when it was Obama-themed
  17. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 9, 2017 -> 10:05 AM) Your fan base is insane. Not only incredibly classy person but took on the job after one of the best performances ever and continued to compete nationally in a state where they are 3rd in pecking order. Accurate
  18. People from both sides of the aisle should understand how sketchy this is
  19. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 9, 2017 -> 08:29 AM) I haven't really seen anyone make a solid argument or any argument at all that Comey's personal memos would be classified or privileged communication beyond the surface level conflation of "leaks!" It'll be interesting to see how this and the broader defense of "Comey is a lying liar who lies except about the parts that were not-bad for me, those are all 100% true" defense they're running with. They arent. Also this shouldnt be handled by Trumps personal lawyer, its a joke.
  20. QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Jun 9, 2017 -> 07:25 AM) Holtmann to OSU. I like this hire, especially in comparison to McDermott. My initial reaction is it could have been worse. Admittedly I dont know much about this guy.
