  1. QUOTE(mreye @ Oct 11, 2007 -> 10:30 AM) Yes, but you could also say that those Soviet bloc countries wouldn't have had the "balls" to do anything without Reagan's speeches, etc. Don't get me wrong, I loved Reagan - my daughter's name is Reagan - but, I think he gets a litte too much credit from the right (Some act like he brought down Communism on his own) and not enough credit from the left. This is totally true. Reagan was a good President, but the left wants to trash him every chance they get and the right wants to put him on Mt. Rushmore.
  2. I am a big fan of the graphics they show when there's a pitching change. They list the pitcher's stats and at the bottom tell you whether the pitcher is right handed or left handed. That's great, because I'd never be able to figure that out on my own.
  3. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Oct 3, 2007 -> 10:13 PM) I'm not impressed. Give me a call when Boston strings 4 CG's together in a row. That's good.
  4. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Oct 3, 2007 -> 10:19 PM) I just don't know what all this has to do with Texas Tech playing Iowa State this weekend. Or Minnesota at Indiana.
  5. What are the chances Z swung away on his own?
  6. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 3, 2007 -> 09:49 PM) As CWS said earlier, and I've said for a week, this series is over though if the Cubs beat Webb tonight. In terms of talent on the field, this seems like the Red Sox/Angels series. Has anyone found out what would happen if the Cubs play Rockies in the NLCS, with regards to home-field ad? I don't think the WC would ever get Home Field Advantage. 101 beat me to it.
  7. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Oct 3, 2007 -> 09:18 PM) I can't believe Tony Clark is still playing. Is he Julio Franco's age? Not to ruin the humor, but I think Clark was drafted the same year as Chipper Jones.
  8. QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Oct 3, 2007 -> 08:13 PM) Sounds more like a wandering, senile old fool to me. It's suprising he kept his clothes on, since the old folks suffering from dementia seem to lose those pretty fast. Jimmy wasn't the best of Presidents, in fact he's probably bottom five, but this is so over the top it's ridiculous.
  9. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ That's a good gig. Probably the most coveted job is the one that's hardest to get. Powerball winner.
  10. Bartman's life hasn't changed much. Still reclusive. Since I traded Webb this year, he should be fine. Go D-Backs!
  11. First link: Dodd, Kucinich, Edwards, Obama, Clinton. Second link: Obama, Dodd, Kucinich, Clark, Gore. Obama/Dodd in 2008?
  12. For yourself, Tex, try this. It's really pretty good for coming from a box, and you should be able to find it where you live.
  13. I think it was George Will who said that discounted political ads equal illegal political gifts, or strongly insinuated it, anyway.
  14. A Goracle/Kapacle ticket in 2008?
