  1. I've found that you don't even need to type in the validation key given. you can just type in 1111 and it works (for me at least). just a time saver. Go Sox
  2. We need to start taking some serious action for all-star voting again; like last year. But this time we have a number of guys who are eligible to get a spot on the roster in Pittsburgh. (mlb.com has the voting tallies) go sox
  3. Voting for the 2006 All-Star Game in Pittsburgh began recently. Vote Early and Vote Often for our Sox.
  4. Just thinking of Ichiro in black pinstripes makes me excited. If we could get him, I'd start talking about a, dare I say it, repeat. Plus he would have good clubhouse chemistry with his fellow countrymen, Iguchi.
  5. Take a look. The TYIB Award page will come up. Go to Plays, then Joe Crede's home run on Spetember 20th, the read the caption. I'm at a loss for words. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/awards/y.../tyib/index.jsp How long do we have to put up with this?
  6. Did anyone read this? http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article...5news&fext=.jsp Oh, its on! above (astros)
  7. Congrats, Ozzie. You've done fantastic in your first 2 years here. I can't even imagine the future; its too good to be true
  8. I love it. That movie was great because it had so much to do with the White Sox. It's nice how they incorporated that reference into the cartoon.
  9. Garland has had plenty of rest and I think he will come out of the gate relaxed and in control. I'm just worrried about our offense waking up, but I think that will come around too.
  10. Congradulations Freddy! I bet she'll be the next star of the Chicago Bandits.
  11. I think we will be fine the rest of the series. Look at the facts: - there are potentially six games left - The Angels do not have Bartolo Colon to lean on -We have a well rested Buerhle on the mound against a sick (illness, not awesomeness) Washburn -We have Freddy Garcia on the mound Friday, who is an amazing road pitcher and always steps up his performance in big games -Yesterday's game was a wake-up call to the White Sox, who will defininately step up their performance today -Our starting pitching is much better than the Angel's, thus we can get deeper in games and not use our bullpen as much, who will thus be rested and ready to go -We lost by one run yesterday, it was not a blowout by any means and Jose pitched fine after the third. Plus, we lost basically due to mental mistakes. -Etc. ( I could go on, but I have to get to a meeting)
  12. It's a tough choice. I think I would rather see the Astros, even though they have some fantastic starting pitching.
  13. I would like to see the Yankees win tonight for a couple of reasons. For starters, they will have gotten no rest between games, they have been constantly travelling, no time to really prepare for the game i.e. watching extensive amounts of film on pitchers, etc., they will have to keep adjusting to different time zones, they already would have used Mike Mussina on Monday,so we'll see him later in the week or not at all, their bullpen will be tired, and the list just goes on. But most on all I would like to hit the Yankees where it really hurts; on national t.v.
  14. Let's keep chuggin. I got in contact with a Phillies, 2 Mets, an Orioles, and an Anti-Yankees site asking them to vote for Pods. Someone had to have seen those posts
