  1. This team hasn't had a decent 2B since Iguchi, a good RFer since Jermaine Dye, nor a good DH since Jim Thome. What a joke of an organization. Edit: Adam Eaton was a great RFer that first time around.
  2. I really wish MLB could strip this franchise from Reinsdorf "for the good of baseball." Reinsdorf has made this franchise a travesty, a sham and a mockery. It's a "travishamockery!"
  3. You know Reinsdorf's not going to do that. Besides, who wants to come to this shitshow now? Hiring Ozzie would be a typical Reinsdorf move and it would actually make the rest of this season entertaining if nothing else. This organization and Ozzie deserve each other.
  4. I'll never forgive Ozzie for quitting on the Sox during the season. I never wanted to see him associated with the White Sox in any official capacity again. But at this point, I'd honestly love to see Ozzie replace Grifol as manager. It's certainly a typical White Sox/Reinsdorfian move and it would at least make this s%*# show entertaining.
  5. I'd rather see our players hustle and get hurt than loaf and still get hurt anyway.
  6. I really wanted Moncada to have a great first half so they could get some real value for him at the deadline. Looks like he'll always be almost worthless. Eloy too. Great "championship core" they had there.
  7. MLB should be able to confiscate this franchise from Reinsdorf for making a travesty of the game.
  8. This team is so bad that Yoan Moncada is now their best player.
  9. Where did they get this goofball from?
  10. I remember when a couple of posters used to laugh at any post I made critical of either of these two back in the days when they were touted as major pieces of the "young championship core" LOL.
  11. I had to vote 62 - 70 from the categories given. But I think it will be somewhere between 69 -73. As I wrote in another thread, this is how I see this season going down: The White Sox surprise by hovering a couple of games under .500 for the first half of the season, led primarily by a monster first half by Yoan Moncada and a surprisingly healthy Eloy Jimenez. As the summer grinds on, poor managing by Pedro Grifol, faltering pitching, Eloy's inevitable injury, and selling off of Moncada and other flippable veterans cause the Sox to fall off and wind up with a total of between 69 and 73 victories which is still much better than most expected.
  12. My prediction for how this season goes: The White Sox surprise by hovering a couple of games under .500 for the first half of the season, led primarily by a monster first half by Yoan Moncada and a surprisingly healthy Eloy Jimenez.
