  1. That's what I thought. So if a runner slides home and misses the plate but the catcher doesn't notice, the home plate ump generally doesn't signal anything - safe or out. So now if the runner gets up, doesn't touch the plate and jogs back into the dugout and play resumes without the defensive team noticing, does the run just automatically count? Apparently so, but I've never really thought about it before.
  2. You know, that's a good point that I never thought of before. Who is the official score keeper? Who actually clicks the counter or whatever to declare a run has been scored?
  3. He looked safe at second to me. Edit: Never mind he was out. But at least he hustled.
  4. Now that the Sox have a big lead, Yoan will get a double or a home run here.
