  1. Yeah, Hahn and the Sox scouting throw a monkey wrench in the works on any plan. But they definitely need to shake things up and infuse a lot of talent into this organization. But you're correct, they failed with their previous attempt at a rebuild and they'll probably screw up their attempt to fix it. Still have to try though, because they're not winning any World Series with this group of players.
  2. Maybe someone will be enticed and think they can fix him. It wouldn't be the first time someone flourished after getting away from this organization. At least try to move him.
  3. No. But they aren't going anywhere with this roster. TA is probably the guy they can get most value for.
  4. TA is probably at his peak value. If the Sox are out of it at the deadline, which it certainly looks like, they should try to trade him for an absolute haul while they still can. Sox aren't going anywhere over the next few years without a major infusion of talent anyway.
  5. I'm glad Eloy wasn't too shy of the net there.
  6. Let me savor the last glimmer of hope for the season.
  7. The weather must be starting to warm up around GRF.
  8. If they lose today I wouldn't mind if they traded every single player on this 26 man roster. The only problem is that Rick Hahn would be the guy making the trades with the Sox scouts advising him. The Sox are in a no-win situation.
  9. Yoan was 4 for 21 in July coming into today's game with three singles and one double. I wouldn't say his bat has been fine lately although I'll concede that is an improvement over his season average.
  10. It's extremely difficult to sweep a series in MLB. Or so I've been told.
  11. Tony should hook these players up with some PEDs. Maybe all his old connections retired or passed away.
  12. I was thinking the same thing when I saw him at the plate.
  13. I think Tony is the reason Robert is becoming lazy. This organization doesn't develop players they ruin them.
  14. Can we please get some outfielders on this roster?
  15. Maybe if they played him at his natural 1B plus DH he would hold up better. He shouldn't be in the OF anyway.
  16. Maybe that's why I like him. He just goes about his business. Also, I sympathize with the way he was rushed up to the big leagues and put at an unfamiliar position and yet has managed to produce (even though he's currently in a slump). He's handled everything well for being such a young player.
