  1. I would think with about 1-2 weeks left in the season the regular lineup and rotation will return. Except for maybe Rodon he still concerns me as he has the wholw second half of the season.
  2. It's all well and good. I don't this as anyone's priority with the CBA negotiations coming up. How would it look for negotiations with the union if the owners just upped the MiLB money? The union would say that if they had extra money for that, they can surely make more concessions to the more important MLB players. Again, I'm not saying it isn't a good idea, its just poor timing and won't happen now.
  3. See they come out when they lose a couple.
  4. No doubt. Leffe is one of my favorite breweries.
  5. Got it. Some people don't get the difference between the two roles.
  6. As long as it doesn't overwork the bullpen with multiple bullpen days, I agree.
  7. The trainers have very little to do with the injuries that happen. Their job is to deal with injuries after they occur. You are wrong at blaming the trainers for something like this.
  8. It's because of the spin follow through pits them in a bad fielding position while finishing. Keuchal is the only one who doesn't use it.
  9. The women's 400mh was unreal. Talk about a really talented 24 year old. The best was the 800m where gold and silver were by 19 year Olds. It's the golden age for middle distance. The diamond league races since the Olympics hasn't disappointed.
  10. The best athlete I ever worked with in professional sports (not including the olympic athletes as no one agrees with me on those) was Robin Yount. Not too many players can win an MVP as a shortstop, tear up his shoulder then win an MVP as a CF. He could do everything. He, like Griffey, started in the MLB as an 18 year old.
  11. The dreaded right knee inflammation common in pitcher's. It's just a way to get him rest.
  12. It's the emphasis on being obvious or heavy underdogs to Houston. As soon as the next losing streak starts it will turn into this team has no chance and will lose in the first round again.
  13. If you've following the thread, you'll see it's a running joke about predicting doom in the playoffs.
  14. We would have been disappointed. Stick with they are heavy underdogs.
  15. Here's another one. I knew we could find one.
  16. White Sox and Brewers would be a great one to see. East coast and networks won't like it though
  17. I think Robert has a chance to impact the game like Robin Yount. He has that much talent.
  18. It's a good thing he is the only one that does this otherwise it would get tiresome.
  19. The team needs to be sharp at the end if the season and the playoffs. And again not just physically sharp but mentally. Periodic rest now, play more at the end of the season to get on a roll similar to the end of spring training.
