Two of us used to be the only 2 in the right field bleachers with signs for the church of the United calderonists. He was a great guy and used to talk to us between pitches. Talk about a time when there was low attendance. They used to close the upper deck and sometimes try to kick the 2 of us out of right field but Ivan would stick up for us. In 88 and 89 I bet they averaged under 15000 a game.

Can't say the games are exciting.

Unfortunately, even though they are tied for the least points they lose the tie breakers with the two other teams and are in third. Which means they have a good chance at missing out on the 4 "franchise altering" players.

I would say don't throw the ball over the middle of the plate with 2 strikes. Regardless of the velocity, that's going a long way.

He is eventually going to need to run hard. Might as well get him to rekab now and maybe they can figure something out with his legs. Is this the same side as his hamstring surgery last year? If so it could be a chronic problem and that's why they are being really cautious.
