That is a really low arm slot. Everything else looks fairly clean though. That is a great deal of elbow stress.

Mono can be worse. It can really change someone's endurance. It has ruined careers if runners. That's why his performance after returning was so important.
-
I don't think so. I think they will keep the good defensive, LHH catcher.

These comments are somewhat if a misnomer. He is being evaluated daily but they are giving him time to recover. Really what they are saying us, he is still having issues. We want him to take time off until Monday to help the symptoms resolve. On Monday we will determine if he can ay again. -
7/15 Sox @ Twinkies 7:10PM Can we get to .500????

I disagree. I think they are trying to build him up and will have more time off in the second half. I dont think he'll get to 150. That's probably a little high. -

Not saying that. Just saying that wasn't part if Herm's job description. -

Herm Schneider had nothing to do with their conditioning. He was the athletic trainer. He took care of them after injuries. Strength and conditioning staff is responsible for conditioning. -
I disagree about the MO of the FO. They showed they would DFA a player if needed in Keuchal. The more pressing is who would trade for a catcher with a bad knee and spine?
-
Talent wise I don't think there is a question. However the most important ability is availability and they both may have an advantage over Jimenez.

Reasonable considering the surgery and short rehab it's where it should be. Not great but where it should be.
-
It's not the media as none of them have the knowledge to ask appropriate questions for most medical conditions. It's the team itself. I've known a few physicians that were bad that were professional team physicians. After Grandal had his issues after this surgery, it's should have been evaluated for efficacy regardless of the team physician recommendation.

That can't be the case here. A complete tear takes 2-3 months minimum to heal like Madrigal. This is what confused me from the beginning. What type of tendon/muscle injury requires surgery and they return in 4-6 weeks? I speculated it was a different tendon other than the hamstring due to the timeframe but I was obviously wrong because later on they did specify it was hamstring. I've never seen seen a repair surgery for a hamstring injury other than an avulsion. That doesn't necessarily mean anything as new procedures are always coming around and they are used with athletes who make the high dollar but I can't find anything on it in the literature databases either
-
I would really like to know what the injuries were and why it was determined they needed the surgeries.
-
This isn't true for general hamstring injuries. However the surgery is an entirely different situation. I still have never seen one of these and don't know anyone else who has had one other than the 3 from this team.
-
Surgically repaired muscles are very difficult to manage.

7/13-White Sox / Guardians - The Fall of TLR Begins —6:10

Got one of his autographed game worn jerseys from that year -
With his leg/knee issues, i bet he'll only catch about 1/2 the games in the second half.
-
Me neither so what is the cause? TLR would seem the most likely cause hence the article to blame player leadership.
-
Typically, the managers and coaches stay out if the clubhouse and let the players run it. So they probably assume people will just agree with it. The only new players really are Pollock and Harrison. So either they are the cause or the clubhouse wasn't as good as reported in years past. Or that's what they want people to believe anyway.
-
I agree with this. It specifically mentions player leadership. This is designed to blame the players.
-
Well pardon me for trying g to help. I don't agree that it's stupid for GMs to do this. With the tight salary cap on the NHL cap relief can be a very effective strategy.
-
Sounds like his leg is still sore or sore again.
-
It all about the salary cap. Why do you think Toronto traded Mrazek and a first round pick fir a second round pick? They were desperate to move that salary even though it will leave them woth no signed goalies. They are going to use the room to yry to resign Campbell.

And no winner thread.
