  1. I would disagree with Eloy to an extent because all if the injuries are something different. But he needs to prove it. But the others it's hard to disagree.
  2. Uh oh. The dreaded forearm strain. Has he had a UCL reconstruction?
  3. It not just about where he was ranked. He has produced really good seasons. Guys at his age don't drop off a cliff like this . It's in there. The question is how to get it out?
  4. It may come to that. They need to find some way to get him going. I don't know if it's playing more, taking time off, an IL stint. Something.
  5. Like others have said he has earned the right to have a say in the decision process. Some people have ripped organizations for not having loyalty and treating like a business. This is an instance were loyalty should be observed.
  6. I think it might be different with a 12 game losing streak Ala Maddon. But apparently Maddon didn't get along with or listen to anyone and that losing streak was just a good excuse.
  7. They would prefer Chicago was a different state.
  8. More likely, they are trying to build is pitch count each time to get to the 100.
  9. After discussion with other in sport medicine, I think it's more of the power training in the off season. Training for power helps hit HR and throw harder but it doesn't help endurance and longevity. Not proven by any means but a possibility.
  10. Back spasms do not cause pain down the leg. I wonder if it is all related to a nerve compression somewhere.
  11. Not arguing merit. Just saying whose issue it was. You blamed the training staff. It wasn't the training staff.
  12. I would disagree. TLR relies on Katz just as he relied on Duncan.
  13. Better than last year so far.
  14. No. They have radiographic equipment but not an MRI. At least they didn't last year and I don't think it's changed.
  15. Yes it is. The White sox had one of the fewest IL usage rates in the MLB for years. If you are only looking at the last 3 years you are correct but to say "have always" is wrong. The Deng issue had nothing to do with the training staff. That isn't their job. That had everything to do with the hospital and physicians.
  16. It's more the latter. But its because if nothing is found d it's easy to interpret the images. However, if they find something they need to analyze the images much closer to determine the amount of damage and if it warrants surgery and how it compares to the physical exam.
  17. This is totally and utterly false.
  18. Sounds like a plica. Very good news.
