Good to hear it. Sounds like you have more than just a few factors which could have made it a disaster. Hope all goes well! ???

Cardiac issues are more common than you think with COVID. For D1 athletics you need a full cardiac workup and EKG before returning to running.

Whole site is slow.

Lefty power it's nice.

There is a difference between inappropriate and obvious. My definition of inappropriate is the Blackhawks scandal or something prosecution worthy.
-
Maybe knew is too strong of a word. Let's just say that no one was surprised when he made it official.
-
Everyone has known for at least a decade. It's not new information. No inappropriate behavior at least that's known.

It not who you play, it's when you play them. Hawk Harrelson

As I recall the procedure was described as a tendon repair similar to Grandal. This still baffles me as repairs take months not weeks, so it must be some kind of debridement of the tendon and then an augmentation.

He is but he was hurt running to first base. How are you going to prevent that?
-
Didn't he have surgery? They don't do surgery for a grade 1.
-
Yeah. It's quick. Not out of the realm of possibilities but way on the fast end of returning.

Do DHs not have to run to first?
-
4 weeks? That's quick.

They didn't treat Rodon like that because no one knew he would actually pitch like that then once he was pitching well they knew they weren't going to pay to keep him. Rodon didn't want to be treated like that because he wanted to show he could do it and pitch well. They will treat Kopech much differently

I think you can push the point without deciding what other people's views and values without knowing them.

Allen may be called he would be very familiar with everything. Herm is an excellent atheltic trainer and is still around for consults. I'm biased but even he couldn't prevent some of the weird ones.

PEDs from my perspective. Not sure about LSD but I don't put anything by pro athletes if they think it would help.

How many posters have called for the firing of the medical staff over the last few years? Unfortunately, it's reality in pro sports medical staff that they are let go because of change in coaches, administration, injuries to players etc. Can you confidently say he wasn't terminated due to any of these reasons? Most posters were satisfied that the strength/conditioning and medical staff was changed. This is what needs to be proven in court and unfortunately, we rarely win.

I didn't mean that. Your case is very possible. I was just saying that it isn't the case here.
-
The person involved is not a nutcase, though. He is a good person.

Until you know more about it, yes. Why would you take a side when you don't know the information? Why make assumptions and proclaim guilt when you don't have much information? Again, I'm not saying there is nothing there. If much of this happened than people need to go. But to assume it right away is wrong. Is has nothing to do with loyalty or shielding. It making an informed opinion instead of a biased one.

Why do you like to assume people's views based your own bias? They have known about his sexual orientation for decade. Why would it become an issue now? Not that some of the others could be valid. This is like when you called me an awful person because I said people will die because of COVID. I know one of the people in the suit, you can probably guess which one, and there is a lot more to the story. As I said earlier, I was wondering when this was going to come out and it will be interesting what more information comes out.

If there are no further facts or information how can you judge anyone?

Settled out if court just means they want it to end. Doesn't mean that any of it actually occurred.
